• Samantha (4/5): Location was good, resort was great for young families, but the property needs a deep clean. - Location and proximity to pacific fair and the beach was great. The resort itself while a little tired, was wonderful for our 4 year old twins. They lived in the pool and playground while we cooked at the bbqs. Sadly the property was not at all clean. It needs a deep clean immediately, which is really disappointing as 2 previous reviewed have already mentioned this, so it’s not like the owners don’t know. The skirting boards look like they have never been cleaned before. The dust and random leftover toys under the beds were grose. The window tracks were also very dirty and main sliding door struggled to open. While the bathrooms have recently been renovated there was orange/pink mold in the showers between the tiles.

• Jamie (5/5): Whoever owns this unit is cutting some massive corners. For the price they charge, I definitely wouldn’t recommend it! - We stayed at Diamond Beach 129 in January. The complex is well located… a lot of construction going on around - but that’s everywhere in that area! Noise wasn’t an issue. The complex is neat and well maintained and the pool area is great for all ages. We drove from NSW and, as there were 6 of us, we had 2 cars… definitely would not recommend this as there is only 1 parking space… street parking is non-existent midweek… there are about 20 all day spots that you have to fight for. The apartment itself was neat and the kitchen was well equipped and both bathrooms newly refurbed. Beds and lounge were comfy. Unfortunately, there were some things that let it down and, for the money you pay to holiday in Qld these days, really felt it wasn’t up to scratch!… There was so much dust and bird poo on both balconies and furniture we couldn’t use them… we advised the agent and a cleaner came and vaguely wiped over the main balcony. The bedroom balcony was left untouched and was absolutely filthy with bird poo everywhere. The glass doors looked like a dog had licked them. The laminate floors in the living area were dirty and gritty underfoot - they needed a good vac and mop! The dining table has seen better days and the coffee table was flimsy plastic. But the biggest ick for me was the bedding… No mattress protectors on any beds (just gross… but at least the mattresses look new, for now!!). Pillows are inconsistent - some are memory foam and are comfy, but some are flatter than pancakes! Bottom sheets are a size too small and don’t fit the beds properly so constantly come untucked and you wake in the morning lying on bare mattress (with no protector! Gross!). Single bed sheets are the worst!

• Belinda (5/5): Lovely area of the GC, pick another apartment in the complex. - Its location was terrific, the pool area is excellent for families with small children. The accommodation catered to children with high chair, porta cot and appropriate crockery etc. The Airconditioning is unacceptable to for the size of the property. We had no Airconditioning for over 2 days, it was difficult to contact the owners who continually blamed us saying we didn’t know how to turn it on when it was actually broken. It took 3 days to get the situation rectified. We had a 3 bedroom apartment with 1 air conditioner for the entire apartment. It was near impossible to sleep at night in the rooms as they were so hot and the fans were very noisy. Curtains mouldy and little signs up everywhere saying to turn the air con off or you will be charged for excess use - what the! It cost us a lot of money for this apartment, expected a lot better.
• Yongjie (10/5): Beautiful stay - Great comfortable place, pools and hot tub were so perfect since we went on a rainy week and couldn’t enjoy the beach at all. Beds were very comfortable and house was big enough for everyone. Host was very willing to give us early checkin which was nice. Communication with host was a little slow since they’d often not respond to messages and i’d have to call.

• Penny (10/5): Absolutely fantastic for families. Loved this place and will be back! - Absolutely thrilled with this property! The location was perfect, the unit was a great size for 6 of us, kitchen was great, beds comfy, wash room was great, and the bbq area and pool were fantastic! We really enjoyed this little slice of heaven. The only thing to say, would be to please throw in a few more blankets for us freezing people 😂 Other than that, absolutely nothing negative to report at all.
