Guest Reviews
- Geoff (4/5): Basic room and plenty of room for improvement. - Yes, the view is spectacular. Right over the freeway, out to the bay. To have to walk elsewhere to get the key is a major issue when walking is difficult. The property needs to be more upfront about the procedures involved in obtaining access to the apartment. An alternative is offered at checkout, but not for arrival.
The bed was not comfortable, very hard. The place is small and furnished to a bare minimum, there was not even a stool to sit at the tiny breakfast bar.
And if you arrive late expecting to make a tea or coffee you’ll have to go out to buy milk. How much would it cost to supply a small UHT MILK?
Please give some thought to your paying guests.
- Marissa (10/5): Great location, convenient and lovely views. - Location, accessibility. N/A
- Jeremy (5/5): Good city unit but hit and miss hosting. - The size of the unit, privacy, views, comfort and general location (for the price) We were told we could leave bags early. When we got to the address we were told via email there was a problem with the key and/or the cleaner.
We were then told we'd be messaged when the key was ready. This happened. But at 320pm. It was raining and cold. Someone let us into the complex while we waited, fortunately. Once I got the instructions, they made sense, but Communications leading up to that point were vague and didn't inspire confidence. I did ring the number provided at one point but there was no reply.
On our 2nd night, the lift broke. Residents explained that our set of keys would not enable us to use the stairs I.e. to unlock the stairwell door at level 21. They suggested we walk up there and bang on the door in the hope someone would hear us. I was about to start emailing on the booking.com system to ask for help... with 10 to 20 minute delays between messages, or no response at all. But fortunately a building maintenance worker operated the lift to get us up. We weren't confident the lifts would be working again in the morning... thankfully they were.
The address we had from the email correspondence was 61 Haigh. It didn't mention that the entrance to this is via 63 Haigh St.
Anyway, it was all a little unsettling and didn't come across as well organised.
- Nathan (10/5): Real value for dollar and was left a bottle of wine. Thank you for an amazing experience. We will book again - The view was amazing It was perfect
- Tracy (8/5): -
- Raymond (4/5): I did start to wonder if I would be able to enjoy my evening in Melbourne. - The staff at the pick up point for the keys went out of their way to assist. I had to wait for close on 2 hours for the matter to be resolved
- Warren (6/5): Convenient - Location. Walls were all marked, door handles damaged on internal doors, kitchen was screwed together as temporary fix.
Bed doona was very thin.
- Dylan (10/5): Exceptional -
