- Rhoda (6/5): Will not return - I met with quite a hostile man in reception. I was exhausted after a 2 & a half hour delay with y train & the receptionist was not friendly or welcoming. Reception I got when I arrived
- juan gamez molero (2/5): - La ubicación
- Nina (8/5): - Very practical location close to various public transport. Short walk to both Hyde park and Regent's park. The room was clean. The bed was quite comfortable. Little noise from outside, which was nice. The sound insulation between rooms wasn't very good.

- Leo (8/5): A nice place in an excellent location - It’s central location Room had too much furniture and difficult to move about. That said, the eclectic nature of the furnishings was quaint
- Michelle (6/5): tad small so plus-size people may struggle as i did to navigate round the bed to bathroom. Clean++ - V helpful staff helping me with my bag to take downstairs and to room and at check out. Organised for extra fan as it was sweltering hot in the room. Advised window could be opened which I did. Bathroom was tidy as was everywhere. Shower was lovely. Very good cleanliness standard. The kettle. The cord wasnt long enough to actually pour the water so you had to unplug it every time as it wouldn't reach the socket behind tv and could only go behind the cupboard which I had to move about to plug it in and out which was a pain as I have mobility issues. The handle on the door to the cabinet came off in my hand when used to open the door. Popped it back in but obviously not practical to use. The room was much smaller than anticipated from the images.
- Jianhao (9/5): good value for money -

- Kazunori (5/5): - No hair dryer.
- Christopher (1/5): Just don't - Location, 4 stops from kings cross Just don't stay
Arrived at the hotel for the 24 hour reception to not be staffed.
A note advised to attend the hotel reception 2 doors down, upon arriving there were told that no, we had to go back to the other hotel.
When finally being checked in, we discovered that a staff member has not bothered checking the identity of someone checking in and had given them our room.
We then had to wait a further half hour whilst they kept telling us they had given our room away.and we traipsed backwards and forwards between the two hotels.
After 40 mins they eventually were able to find us a room.
I didn't expect the crystal maze esque journey to the top floor avoiding untacked loose carpet and no lights on the stairs up to final floor
Opened the door to a musketeer fever dream where none of the floors were level and the lighting varied from retina searing in the bathroom to perma twilight in the bedroom
Seriously, just stay anywhere else.

- Adrian (4/5): - Location Room was small and furniture broken and old . Not hotel I was expecting.

- Alexandra (6/5): A very basic room with a disappointingly uncomfortable bed, but it was clean and the shower was good - It was a great shower and the decor in both bedroom and bathroom were nicely done, and everything felt clean. The gentleman on the front desk sorted me out with an extra pillow very quickly when I went and asked for one. The bed was very uncomfortable and sank in the middle. No milk provided for the tea. 😭 The TV didn't work. No wi-fi code was given. I'd already been back up to reception in my pyjamas once to ask for another pillow and frankly I couldn't be bothered going back up again.
- Leo (8/5): Recommend this for seeing London and beyond - Very central and Shaun was a delight to deal with
- Ben (1/5): -
- Ash (5/5): Good Location but the room standards did not match the price . - The location was convenient from tube and a short walk from Hyde park. There was a private bathroom and a shower and the room was big enough for 2 people . Small smart tv in room and storage, with a kettle in the room. The room was boiling hot, the radiator was on full blast with no way of turning it down or off. The toilet did not flush properly, the double bed was two beds pushed together where you could feel the gap. Our room was located 2 buildings away - the man covering on the desk ( who didn’t work there ) said that it was called the Pavillion “ Rooms “ meaning more than one building.
So the Victorian and quirky interior was only in the main building and reception check in area. Our room was in a building that had a different look that wasn’t in fitting with the theme. We were in the basement and as there was a staircase leading to the basement from the outside, you could hear people congregating outside, which is why we didn’t open the windows- despite the heat.
The plug sockets were also lacking and located behind the TV, the far side of the room.
Any stays that are located in the second building should be comped for pricing to factor in the differences in quality.

- Alexander (4/5): Don’t stay here. - Location was fine. Easy check in. The room was like being in a cupboard under the stairs. The bedroom door did not lock unless you slammed it, the lock itself was movable within the actual door, the bed was sunken in, could hardly move across the room, had to squeeze past the bed to get into the bathroom, the bathroom walls were filthy and had sort of dried liquid on there and the wifi was never consistent in staying connected. I wouldn’t say the price of the room was at all justified and I wouldn’t recommend any staying here.

- Simona (1/5): Great location, awful accommodation. Not good value for money at all -
- Jon (10/5): - Different.
Brilliant.
Cosy.
I loved it;
It's great!
- Jason (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (7/5): Good -
- Liam (5/5): No aircon, bed from the Victorian era and mattress that’s as worn as the furniture - Nice bathroom Horrendous mattress and bed - worst attempt at sleep I’ve ever had
- Tonya (10/5): Exceptional - The bed was comfortable, the room was cosy and it was nice to be at a distance from other rooms, when the door was shut we were in our own bubble.
- Ruth (6/5): Pleasant - Small stuffy room but bed was ok and the bedroom and bathroom were clean. Kettle hard to use and power points limited. Staff polite. Very dark room and light bulb was gloomy too.
- Lady (1/5): It needs constant and proper cleaning. - None It smells, no ventilation, uncomfortable bed, tiny room, no milk or cream. In short, we couldn’t wait to leave.
- Leigh (4/5): Disappointing -
- Stephen (4/5): Not the hotel you think your booking. - Decor was ok. Location was ok for my needs. The booking for pavilion rooms was a lie this is not the hotel I stayed in. When I arrived the door at pavilion rooms was locked. I called the number and was told to come to the door further down which was the entrance to the Four star hotel advertised on booking.com with a bad rating. The room was in the basement with poor natural lighting. The room was cluttered with too much furniture giving no room to stay comfortably. The mattress on the bed was worn and extremely uncomfortable. Pillows were flat and poor quality. The bed had only a sheet with no temperature control in the room led to a cold nights sleep. A small towel was provided and a towel for the floor in the bathroom on entering the towel was on the shower tray and wet. Tea and coffee are provided with a cup but there is no milk. WiFi is available and free of charge but it is very slow.
Sign on the rear of the door at the Four star hotel states if you leave valuables in the room and they are stolen they take no responsibility for this! Not what you expect from hotel.
- Alison (7/5): Good -
- Mark (6/5): A budget room/price, convenient for my limited stay, not sure I would stay for more than one night - Despite the dark bedroom space, bathroom very clean and tastefully decorated and shower had a good pressure/temperature. Only negative was that shower floor towel was wet prior to use, not sure if there was a shower tray leak or not, but did not effect usage. Room had very dark decoration, with quite a few antlers on display (!). Very small bedroom space, but only staying overnight so not a big issue for me on this occasion. Also tv ariel was broken so no signal, but did not need ito use it on this occasion.
- Simon (8/5): Nice hotel in a good location. - The hotel is lovely, it’s like stepping back in time, beautifully decorated with antique furnishings and nic nacs. The bathroom/ shower room was tiny, however it was not an issue.
- Leona (5/5): Been to a lot better but it is passable for a brief stay. - The hotel is quite close to Paddington station, and Edgware tube. It is in a nice and safe part of London, and it is close to Hyde park for a nice stroll. The staff are trying their best, but the hotel needs tlc. The bathroom was the best part as the tiled decor is lovely, and the room is prepared to a professional standard. Not being able to take the key out with you is bizarre, and the first time I encountered that level of security. I also thought the decor in the room is out of the 1940's. The wood furnishings would have been perfectly acceptable in a shabby chic kind of way but the olive green walls and ceiling feel like a prison. It is a dark room that is poorly lit and the shower had no hot water. The radiator wasn't on when we came back at night and the room was freezing. The 10 tog duvet was insufficient for the room temperature and we slept in coats. I would not wish to stay here again. There was no milk sachets to serve milk so I wonder why they bother giving you tea and coffee.
- Trew (7/5): Good -
- Niobe (8/5): Very good - I liked The design of The room . It was warm
- Anton (4/5): Disappointing - Not the room i booked, the bed was very hard and way smaller than i asked/paid for. Very uncomfortable.
The room was very very hot, and i was told that the heat is either on max or completely off.🤨
Otherwise its an okay room for a small trip to london.
- Laura (8/5): Very good - Room was lovely, very tidy, small but had everything we needed for our stay n/a
- Thomas (7/5): Good - Location very good for me. No heating in bathroom..to much furniture in room couldn't move around much..
- Michael (5/5): Passable - Situation and the helpfulness of the staff. No milk for coffee. Not a fork. Mugs for coffee but no wine glasses.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- John (4/5): Disappointing - Great location close to Paddington Dingey basement room with very basic room and facilities
- Cosmin (6/5): Pleasant - Comfy, classic, location. Dusty for 3 days in a row -could not get them to clean the coat rack of dust - or the windowsill.
- James (6/5): Pleasant - Good location
Price Room was quite small and a bit dark - but for the price good value
- Lee (7/5): I enjoyed my stay and would use again. - The property was well situated with friendly staff. Room was a bit tight for space. I.e. the gap between end of bed and bathroom was tricky to negotiate.
- Anna (9/5): Superb - The decor was fabulous and stylish and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful The shower was not hot and was blocked but that didn't detract from the above
- M (8/5): Welcoming, great location, would happily book again. - Easy access to tube stations (Paddington, etc). Then only 15-20 mins to the City. 7 mins walk from Hyde Park. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Felt quite safe as a single female traveller. Able to leave luggage before and after check in/out. The rooms are small, but have the essentials (inc kettle and coffee/tea, just no shampoo) and I felt very comfortable, slept well. Staff friendly and welcoming.
- Saoud (7/5): Good - How close it was to edgeware road, and it was comfortable for a 1 night stay
- David (7/5): Good -
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - Quirky tasteful touches, the proprietor has an artistic flair. Miniscule - no space to move. Luckily I was travelling alone as there's no way two people could squeeze into the room I had.
- Megan (9/5): Superb - The location is very central, the staff are very helpful and welcoming. The basement is a little creepy when alone but nothing that would put me off staying again!
- Trevor (3/5): Needs upgrading - Location was good for where i needed to be Very uncomfortable bed. Loo seat very loose. Table lamp not working
- Rachel (8/5): Convenient albeit a touch pricey. - Location wise it was perfect - we were there for Stevie Nicks at Hyde Park and with a 24 hour reception desk and its proximity to the event it was just brilliant. Decor was amazing as well, really cool. Friendly staff. Little more cramped than expected and tea/coffee setup was without sugar or milk. A tad noisy in terms of hearing through walls but nothing too bothersome.
- Autumn (8/5): Very good - Quirky, room had character and was clean. Polite gent on front desk. Easy and quick check in. Loved the decor in the bathroom especially. Happy with stay no dislikes.
- Hayley (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, quirky hotel with character. Helpful staff. Our first room in the basement had a broken window seal and wouldn't close, so we could hear everything on the street outside as if there was no window at all. The staff let us change rooms the next night, which was great - we had no outside noise BUT, we could hear every part of the conversation (and song singing 😆) of the couple in the room next door til about 3 am, and again at about 7 am (go them!!) so sleep was very disturbed. It really needs sound proofing.
- Philippa (5/5): Good location not mobilty impaired friendly - Convenient location WiFi ok It wasn't at the pavilion building but a couple of doors down. Which i would not have known if a cleaner wasn't outside having a cigarette at the time. room was in a basement area which was down narrow stairs. Not suitable for mobility impaired. Asked if I could be on the ground floor but no. Even though they were not fully booked. Don't think the staff had any authority to make adaptations.
- Evans (4/5): Ok for night but couldn’t stay for more than that - The quirkiness Very tight toilet, tiny tv, uncomfortable beds. No sugar or milk and no plug sockets next to bed for our cpap machines
- Joanne (8/5): Good stay good location. - Mattress was comfortable, bathroom was clean, TV had netflix. Pilow was to big and hard.
- Nadine (6/5): Pleasant - The location
The decor Beds are very uncomfortable
- Liam (3/5): Poor - Good location and cheap. Cheap does not mean good value however. No WiFi
No iron
Bed was old, small and had dipped - very uncomfortable.
- Steve (3/5): Weird and overpriced - Location, cool room even in hot summer day No iron, unhelpful staff who were often absent from front desk, weird decor in room, noisy guests at 4-5am
- Paul (4/5): Confused! Paid too much,it said£95 at property. I PAID £150.NOT HAPPY. - Shower was good. Booked a double bed,it was 2 singles pushed together. My mattress wad terribly soft.Toom wad dark,in a basement.Poor facilities for tea etc.
- Andy (2/5): Do not stay here - Dirty, messy, terrible breakfast
Do not stay here
- Donna (7/5): Good -
- Emel (4/5): Next… - Price Too small, basement room, they had bedbugs
- Wayre (6/5): Decent, clean, quaint Victorian styling but shocking mattress - As a Manager in 4/5 star hotels on an interviews trip, wanted some5ing cheap & cheerful. My room at least, tastefully decorated in a Victorian-30s style. Room was clean. Bathroom good. Bed was an original 1930s / 1940s bed which is fine as a vintage fan.. but guys.. needs a new mattress 😂 sunken in middle and solid. Old frames add character, old mattresses add aches and pains! But overall for good central spot to move about from, £90 with. Anthropomorphic a Friday night, was fine for me. The mattress is around 20-30 years past its usable life!
- Jenni (5/5): Passable -
- Federico (4/5): I found not clear and not honest the treatment I received. - My room was understairs in a dark basement. The photo they have sent to me on the booking confirmation was a double room not a single room. When I arrived I realised that the single room Was different from the one previously showen and really awful and too small. I had to pay AN extra fee to have the double shown on the booking confirmation.
- Heather (10/5): Have stayed here a number of times, this hotel is great value for money and is close to amenities - Great value for money, friendly staff, quick book in, lovely room and en-suite, quiet, clean, close to transport facilities N/A
- Mhairi (5/5): Passable - Clean. Felt safe No shampoo! Uncomfortable bed!
- Georgy (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, comfortable bed. Very close to Paddington. The milk was expired.
There was no shampoo or shower gel.
- Wood (8/5): Very good -
- Matthanee (5/5): It’s a Con, it’s not pavilion hotel , look up - It’s not far from everything / Buckingham , king cross train station
Some Staff are very helpful The reason I’ve book the property because I look up the Pavillion hotel ( same name and address ) and they have an amazing decoration,
But when we turn up the door is lock and we have to go to the 2 star hotel 3 doors away .
And paid £140 when the other room in this hotel is £100
My partner having diarrhoea so we asking for the extra toilet roll which staff said you can have only 1 per day , so we bough our own
Room is tiny and it’s in the basement ,
It’s feel cold and no heating , mattress is dress no shampoo or hair dry provide I need to borrow one from reception ( and it’s no PAT test on this hair dry it’s look dangerous )and return as soon as possible
( surely for £280 for 2 night they can afford more £5 hair dryer )
No lobby none of any facilities
No great set of tea coffee no milk
It was my big day at the palace garden , so I’m very disappointed and I don’t want anyone to go to the same experience, because you can spend same amount money with the better room and got breakfast in the same area of this hotel
- Hilary (2/5): Sadly, this room was not worth £90 per night. - It was very cold inside the room at all times. It never received any sunlight in the basement. The shower was blocked. The bed mattress was broken in and extremely uncomfortable.
- Eva (8/5): I really liked it! Great for a quick stay! - The staff was super nice, the room was clean, quiet, with big bathroom, exactly what I wanted. The bed was comfy, but the mattress can be changed :)
- Vass (7/5): Pleasant - Basement room a bit dark
- Gail (5/5): Passable -
- Amy (5/5): Fine for one night but overly priced for what it was. - Staff were helpful when we arrived as they have two buildings and we went into the wrong one to start with (not overly clear from outside). The room was nothing like the images pictured and felt incredibly claustrophobic. Had to ask for toilet paper and cups in bedroom were dirty.
- Ryan (7/5): Good -
- Christine (6/5): Pleasant -
- Laura (6/5): good location, but I would not go back there. - The location was really good, close to all metro station. the bed was really unconfortable and everything was very old and did not seem clean. We asked to turn on the heater but they didn't and it was quite cold. Also, the person at the reception mocked us. No shampoo or bath soap was provided.
- Sean (7/5): Good -
- James (7/5): Good -
- Zzwill (5/5): Passable -
