Guest Reviews
- Mary-Anne (9/5): - Very close to town, clean with everything you require for a comfortable stay. Trentham is very cold and being an older home, it was a bit cold, but it wouldn't be like that year round.
- Gabrielle (10/5): Couldn’t ask for better. Excellent stay - The cottage is beautiful! It’s cosy, there is plenty of heating and nights were cold but the cottage stayed so warm. Comfy bed, kitchen fabulous. Never seen such a well stocked kitchen of utensils! The back yard is amazing, huge and beautiful. Our dogs loved it. We rebooked for October, we loved it so much. Plus Trentham is a delightful town. A great way to spend our 40th wedding anniversary. Nothing
- Jewell (10/5): Staying here feels like being part of something special. If you're looking for a holiday spot that offers genuine wa - There is something special about Arichonan House. I recently stayed here while directing scenes for my upcoming film, Powder Milk and Ice Cream, and the house itself became a vital part of the story. It is a stunning, character-filled property that manages to be both grand and incredibly comfortable.
Everything about the stay was seamless, it's quiet, cozy, and perfectly situated for anyone visiting Trentham.
- Kate (10/5): - The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Great location and close proximity to shops, cafes and walking trails.
- Andrea (10/5): We had a great time here and Paul and his neighbour Andrew were so helpful and good humoured when we had a slight snafu - Charming, quaint, gorgeous garden
- Amanda (9/5): Old world charm - Cosy cottage in a great location. We loved being able to walk to the shops and pubs. The old world cottage feel was great. Check in and out was very easy and well described.
- Elaine (7/5): Great location. Warm and cosy and well stocked with supplies and utensils. - The location is amazing and had all the facilities we needed. A lovely walk into town and a fireplace to come home to.Would love to come in warmer weather and utilise the outdoor space better. The shower over bath scared us with no rail to lean on to help get out. A few cracked windows and door which should be fixed for safety.
- Wilma (10/5): Exceptional - Quaint, comfortable and immaculately clean.
Fantastic kitchen.
Great amenities and great location.
A stones throw from the Main Street. No complaints whatsoever

- Kerryn (9/5): An excellent place to stay with old world charm - The character and history were charming. It had been renovated very well and in keeping with the style of the cottage. The cottage was in walking distance to the shops. A little cold with the heating.
Needed small steps to use the shower over bath otherwise it was dangerous for an older person to get in and out of the deep tub.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional - A really comfortable cottage with everything we could ever need. Spotlessly clean in a lovely location. Very dog friendly, too.
Highly recommended.
- Keren (10/5): Exceptional - Great location with easy walking distance to shops cafes and pubs but set on a quiet tree lined street.

- Mary (9/5): Great location - The house is a short walk from the main street. It is set up very well for a family. It was a bit cool inside but there were space heaters, a split system in the living room and a wood heater.
- Christine (6/5): We had an enjoyable stay. - Location very good. Disappointed there was no milk for a cup of tea after a long drive when we arrived. There was coffee, tea etc but no milk.

- Dennis (8/5): Very good -
- Yvonne (9/5): We had such a relaxing time at the cottage and Trentham such an awesome village x - It was a super cute small but big cottage which was extremely well equipped. The bathroom had everything you’d need along with plenty of space. Kitchen fantastic and Luna and Morris loved exploring in the backyard. Perfectly set up. We would have loved to have been able to connect to our Netflix or Prime account on the TV.
