Guest Reviews
- danara (10/5): - Great location and very beautiful house! The last day before checkin there was no hot water but fortunately we were checking out next morning
- Junhyeok (8/5): -
- Piotr (9/5): - Alles perfekt.
- Pairit (9/5): Good experience living in real Japanese house - it's resident area which is very seft and quiet. it is very difficult to find 3 toilets and 2 shower in the same house for 5 person, make us fast for morning and evening.
- Emma (10/5): A lovely stay in a quiet neighbourhood - We had a wonderful five-night stay here as a group of five adults. The neighbourhood is incredibly quiet, and it truly felt like we were the only tourists around. The location is very convenient—close to two train lines, a Lawson, a larger supermarket, and several restaurants.
It was the perfect base for exploring Osaka: just a few stops from the main areas, making it easy to get around while still being able to retreat to a peaceful, quiet spot at the end of the day.
The home itself was spotless, well-equipped, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had read that the stairs were steep, but nothing prepared us for just how steep and narrow they actually were. If you’re travelling with large suitcases, you’ll need someone strong to help carry them upstairs; otherwise, you may need to leave them on the ground floor and bring belongings up separately for anyone staying on the third floor.
- Yuki (10/5): -
- Iryna (8/5): A good place to stay - A nice location. A bit off the grid, but there was a direct train from the airport and two underground stations within walking distance. Restaurants, supermarkets, and a small shopping mall were nearby. The flat was quite spacious with all the facilities you might need: an iron, a hair dryer, and even a hair styler! Every room had an AC, which was a pleasant thing to have in the Japanese heat. Before we arrived, we got a doc with instructions from the hosts. The things were usual: how to get, how to check in, etc. But then I saw something that was "too not-European for me". I might be judgmental, as I got used to travelling mainly to hotels or private stays in European countries. I did my research before travelling to Japan (about the respect, rules, silence, etc), but I didn't expect to see "As a visitor, we kindly ask that you keep that in mind and appreciate that we are sharing our homes with you." Probably, there was something lost in the translation, but you are not sharing a home with us. We pay for staying in your apartment. We were welcome to use the cosmetics, but not too much. We were welcome to use everything in the house, but not to use more towels than the number of guests. Otherwise - fine. The funniest was the rule about stealing the towels: if you steal them, they will charge you for them. But if you leave a good review, they will forgive you. Do people still steal towels?!
Please forgive me if I sound disrespectful towards the country's rules. I do not intend to do that, and I also understand that these rules might have been created from unpleasant experiences. However, we also stayed in a hotel in Tokyo, in a residential area as well, and we were also asked to be respectful and silent after 10 pm, but in a very different tone of voice. There, I felt welcomed. Here, I felt like a parasite who would use up all the soap and irritate the neighbours with my presence.
- SHUN KAI (10/5):

- Olivia (9/5): Safe & clean, well-equipped - It was clean, had everything we needed. 3 floors. Renovated traditional style. Very nice. It wasn’t the most central location, it we could get to the train station easily. Difficult for taxis to arrive on narrow streets so if you take one, have them pick you up on a bigger street nearby.
- Eric (10/5): -
- Seng (10/5): Same as my other group who stayed there before, I highly recommend this property /estate especially for stay longer - Feels like home. Everything I need is there. Location is very quiet ie. away from human and traffic noise (provided your group does not make too much noise too). Very convenient location. I will highly recommend this property for people who knows how to appreciate and have gratitude towards every little things in life. As it is a vertical apartment, the stairs are narrow and steep. Elderly or those with knees issue can take the room (sleep up to 5 people) on the ground level. Occasional climbing up to the dining area on the 2nd floor is needed. Elderly need to take extra care. It will be a bonus if guests can be reminded again during checkin about the hot water switch for shower. Washed floor mats must not be stored in the same cabinet as the futons because material of floor mats have smell that can be absorbed by the mattress and thick blankets.
- Karla (10/5): Beautiful home !! - Great space and neighborhood , close to the subway station. It was all very nice, but if I could suggest something it would be a rail for the steep stairs.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Great for a big family! Narrow, steep staircase - not a bad thing just something to be aware of
- Geeranut (9/5): Superb -
- Kasey (10/5): Perfect! -
- Enes (9/5): A highly recommended place to stay. I'll book here again when I return to Osaka. - The place is exceptional all around - the location is a walking distance to train station and surrounded by many convenience store and food outlets; and the amenity of the house is complete, making you feel like it's a cozy home away from home. The host provided clear instructions on how to check-in and use all the amenity provided. Beds are comfy, all appliances work well. The overall house is very clean. However, caution if your party involves toddlers, elderly or anyone with mobility issues because the house is 3-storey and the stairs are steep and narrow. There is nothing that we dislike about this place. The house and its surrounding area are awesome.
- Lam (9/5): Osaka trip 2024 - The house was clean and facilities was all that we'd needed. Fairly close to the train station, walking distance to a nice supermarket next to train station. Couple of stations ride to Namba which is good, plenty of eateries at namba station and surrounding areas. Host gave every information needed, self check in only. If you like to be left alone which we like. Neighbourhood felt safe so no problem there. Nothing really
- Wing (8/5): Very good -
- Pang (10/5): Exceptional - goood
- Hania (10/5): Safe, comfortable, close to the train & shops! - 5 minutes walk to the train stations, convenience stores and restaurants. Comfy beds, all amenities provided (even though we didn't use them, the disposable toothbrushes were super cute)!! It was easy to find and access, the space is like a typical Japanese home. No dryer, but the balcony is well equipped to hang clothes out to dry. Simple! 2 stops on the train to Namba Station where you'll find restaurants, games, shopping and night life. No negatives here.
