- Rothers (9/5): Nice Flat in quiet area - The area was quiet but easy to get in and out of the city and right by the DLR station. The apartment was a good size and accommodated us well. The host was very communicative and sent clear directions on how to get into the flat. Even though we had a couple of questions when we arrived they were really quick to reply. Overall a nice stay and recommended if you want somewhere a bit further out but with access to the centre. There was very little we didn't like, my only suggestion would be to improve the showers. The water pressure is very low so doesn't make for the best shower.

- Silke (9/5): Tolle Lage, ruhig und trotzdem nicht abgelegen- sehr empfehlenswert - Die Lage war wirklich sehr gut. Die Haltestelle Langdon Park war tatsächlich nur 2 Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt und dennoch war es im Apartment sehr leise. Die Gegend ist insgesamt sehr ruhig. Ein Tesco Express ist zu Fuß ca. 7 Minuten entfernt und hat alles, was man so braucht. Restaurants sind nicht in der Nähe, aber wir haben sowieso zu Hause gekocht und wer essen gehen will, kann von Langdon Park aus unkompliziert Richtung City Centre fahren. Die DLR von Langdon Park fährt oberirdisch und die Anschluss- U- Bahnen sind recht neu (Elizabeth Line und Jubilee Line) und nicht so überfüllt wie andere. Die Wohnung selbst ist geeignet für 3-4 Personen, da sie 2 Bäder und 2 Schlafzimmer besitzt. Das Wohnzimmer war bequem, der Essbereich ein wenig klein, die Küche dafür umso großzügiger. Die technischen Geräte laufen einwandfrei und selbst die Waschmaschine und den Trockner haben wir genutzt und können dies empfehlen. Insgesamt sind die Wohnung und die Lage sehr empfehlenswert. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt, was ja in London nicht immer der Fall sein muss. Ein Sieb zum Abgießen von Nudeln hat gefehlt, aber das war tatsächlich schon alles. Ansonsten war alles einwandfrei und wirklich sehr sehr empfehlenswert 🙂.

It was very warm and we didn’t know how to turn the heating down
- Oz (7/5): Nice flat without A/C - Very close to the station, the flat is nice in general. The worst is that the flat has no air conditioning. Very problematic when the weather is hot. Kids beds, pillows, quills and bed linens were not the best quality (very nylon) which makes a low sleep quality. Pots and pans are very unhealthy and almost impossible to use as they are filled with scratches on teflon.

We booked this apartment for 8 nights for a group of 4 adults, as we wanted space, comfort, and the ability to cook during our vacation in London. Our experience was terrible and we advise travellers to be cautious with this booking.
First, our check-in process didn’t go smoothly. We discovered that the designated lockbox did not contain the keys to the apartment! We had to reach out to the property’s staff and were ultimately handed the keys by a lady who was exiting the apartment and who never introduced herself.
In order to be able to use the oven and other kitchen appliances, hard-to-find switches need to be activated. There were no instructions on how to locate these switches. We had to reach out to the property staff to get the information.
Most frustratingly, the property had a severe hot water outage. Upon arrival, we found that absolutely no hot water was coming out of any of the faucets—neither in the bathrooms nor in the kitchen. This made it impossible to take a shower after a long trip. We were baffled that this had not been sorted out before our arrival for an 8-night stay.
Presumably, the account was replenished with funds later in the evening and lukewarm water became available, although the flow was very weak. Unfortunately, this was short-lived; just a few hours later, the hot water was completely out again.
The next morning, the outage continued. We did not receive a timely response from the property staff, nor was any genuine concern expressed. We left the apartment for the day, and when we returned, there was still no hot water.
At this point, we decided to leave the property and rent a hotel. Not having hot water and not knowing if or when it would return was obliviously a dealbreaker for us.
