• Helen (8/5): - Great location, lots of space, closed in yard, tidy, caters for large family. Value for money. As with all older style homes, difficulty with sliding doors, tiny ensuite not suitable for larger person, ants in kitchen.
• Samara (7/5): - Close to the beach and comfortable The needs ALOT of TLC If more than 1 Child 6 years old in the bunk room Be prepared to not sleep well Every time the child moves top bunk the top bunk with the safety rail It's well passed its used by date It needs replacing not very stable And it's very noisy The second bathroom shower head doesn't stay upright even though it was tight Very soft pillows Lucky we took ours for back Up The fence on the outside is VERY Old I wouldn't declare it safe
• Fiona (10/5): We had the best long weekend away with friends, and would recommend this place to anyone that wants a budget and family - There was so much space for our group of 11, comfortable and cozy, everything you need is there and more, walking distance to the beach, free use of some cool sporting equipment, plenty of linen and the most amazing host Nothing!

• Jarrod (1/5): Good location, cheap, but being left stranded and stressed with no way to enter the property was the worst accommodation - Location was good. Was unable to enter the property, almost ending up stranded for the night due to not receiving a lockbox code. Provided phone number was not working. We were very lucky to find alternative accommodation. I can only give the lowest scores for this property as not being able to enter was not only an inconvenience but almost dangerous and came close to ending the groups weekend away.

• Kathy (8/5): Very good - The location was quiet and handy for the beach, coffee shop and pub and it is an easy, short drive into town. Inside, the rooms and facilities were as advertised. The beds were very comfy and the shower pressure (including the handy outside hot & cold shower) was great. The air cooler was effective during our hot days. The host always responded quickly to my (minor) queries. Cleaning the flywire screens and weeding would greatly improve first impressions. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the BBQ as the burners need replacing as they have burnt through.

• Kirsty (6/5): Renovater's delight - Location to beach Uninviting - we thought we'd arrived at someone's home as the garden was unkept, there was food on the counter and in the fridge, including out of date chicken, and there was washing in the laundry. The property felt unclean with spider webs, mould, dust and cracked paint/plaster. Patio was unsafe.

• Anthea (8/5): A comfortable, clean, relaxing home. Thank you to the hosts who went out of their way to assist. - The host advised more information re checkin will be emailed. I did not receive. We arrived at the property with the wrong pin code. I tried phoning and emailing to no avail. After an hour waiting I finally worked out how to contact < booking.com> who forwarded me the email that the host wrote for me - with the correct pin code. All was forgiven especially when the host made contact. The house was comfortable with all amenities in good working order. Communication breakdown between booking.com, the host, and the correct pin. One booking.com forwarded me the hosts email with all the check in details, I was relieved to finally be able to obtain keys from the lock with the correct pin code.

• Carolyn (4/5): Disappointed with the state of the house but the location was good and beach and cafe were awesome. - The living area was nice an spacious. The location was great. Easy walk to the cafe and beach. The owners were very responsive when we were having issues with the fridge. The property needs a lot of maintenance and wasn’t very clean. One of the bunk beds wasn’t a bunk bed - it was two single beds on top of each other. Didn’t feel that was safe so didn’t use it. Lots of other things not working properly.

• Samara (7/5): Good - Location was okay. Was great to have everyone together under 1 roof while holidaying. Was in a quiet area. Thought it was closer to the beach than it was,but arrrhhh well Beds were amazing and very comfortable No milk was supplied like most places. No facewashers supplied like every where else. And don't be weak on your feet walking up them steps to get in the house they are a hazard, 1 Day someone will be walking up them or down and they will fall apart.it will be Too late someone will hurt themselves

• Trudy (8/5): Very good - We stayed a single night, this was the last place available on a very busy weekend. It was expensive for what it was, but it was available so we were willing to pay for it. The host was very responsive. The bed was very comfortable and the sound of the ocean nearby was incredible. An expensive night.
