• Maria Eugenia (10/5): Estancia perfecta en una zona tranquila y con una anfitriona encantadora - Hemos pasado 4 noches en el apartamento y la experiencia ha sido excelente. Desde el primer día, Elena ha sido encantadora y muy atenta con nosotros, siempre disponible para ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitábamos. El apartamento estaba impecable, súper limpio y con todo perfectamente preparado para nuestra estancia. Además, la ubicación nos ha parecido muy buena: la zona es segura, tranquila y bonita. Se puede llegar al centro andando en unos 45 minutos, y en taxi apenas se tarda 10 minutos. Sin duda, repetiría la estancia aquí y lo recomendaría totalmente. Todo me gustó.

• Agnes (9/5): - Comfy bed, light spaces and windows opening to a lovely inner garden. Big shower with window, hot water. Silent street, nice host. Not all plugs worked well and I like some printed maps or local tips in the neighbourhood, but that is of course preferential.
• Olya Markova (2/5): - Location. near termini station, not far from the center, a lot of good restaurants /trattories are near by Apartment's condition is not good as on the photos. It needs enough repairs and refresh. Some of Light bulbs are out of use, shower fixture to be replaced, sink drain to be maintained, construction materials are placed on the loft bed space in the bedroom. There is strong sigarette smell in the room Bed liens are not fresh and had unpleasant smell Windows dont close/open properly, outside blinders are very dirty Fridge and oven are also not clean inside Personal check in can be a problem, for me due to the delayed flight it costed additionally 30€ for late check in, the process of managing the check in was too complicated and too long in time. Apartment's manager is not client oriented and sometimes rude. They have their some rules and no chance the client to be right. It can be ok, if no out of the ordinary situation will happen, in that case any of their rules can be implemented. It is better to avoid this.
• Dominika (9/5): Super nocleg na weekendowy wypad do Rzymu. - Czyste, przestronne mieszkanie. W mieszkaniu było wszystko co potrzebne. Właścicielka bardzo miła, nie było problemu z odbiorem kluczy. W okolicy kilka bardzo dobrych restauracji, kawiarni, sklep. Wygodny materac. Bardzo cienkie drzwi wejściowe do lokalu, gdy sąsiedzi wchodzili do siebie to wszystko było bardzo głośno słychać.
• Federica (9/5): Appartamento funzionale in zona San Lorenzo - L'appartamento è moderno, comodo per 3/4 persone: divano letto in soggiorno , camera matrimoniale e un soppalco con due letti singoli stile futon comunque comodi. La cucina è accessoriata. C'è sia la macchinetta con le cialde che la classica moka. Bel balcone nella zona giorno. È in zona San Lorenzo, quindi non propriamente in centro, ma è ben servita. Fermate del bus si trovano a meno di 400 metri. Se vi piace camminare la stazione Termini è raggiungibile in 15 minuti a piedi. Molto vicini anche supermercati e qualche trattoria. La signora che ci ha accolto per il check in è stata molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di lasciare l'appartamento nel tardo pomeriggio visto che il nostro volo era in serata. Il palazzo in cui si trova l'appartamento è un po' vecchio. Ma è in fase di rinnovamento, con la predisposizione dell'ascensore. La scala per accedere al soppalco risulta un pochino scomoda.
• Aleksandra (6/5): Good but they need to resolve the water problem - Apartment is located in San Lorenzo, if you go to Termini it takes around 15 minutes, neighbourhood is quite good. There is everything you need like iron, hair dryer etc. There is no hot water, I read the comments of other guests and I see that this is not one off, but permanent issue reported many times by the guests but they don’t do anything with this and host was pretending that she is surprised that the water is cold.

• Nina (6/5): The host was lovely and very helpful, but overall we wouldn’t pay this high of a price for a loft that doesn’t feel prop - The loft was really cute, and located in a bustling, alternative district The facilities in the kitchen were pretty low, everything was still dirty when we came in and one pan was so bad that after washing it three times, the water still came out with dirt. There also is pretty little kitchenware. Besides that the staircase was a construction zone, which isn’t that big of a problem but we weren’t notified and its not what you expect of the price range.
• Cortese (8/5): - Appartamento situato nel cuore di san lorenzo, spazioso, dotato di tutto l'essenziale; ottima posizione sia per vicinanza all'università la sapienza sia alla stazione termini. Vicinato tranquillo e silenzioso; host molto gentili e accoglienti. L'appartemento è situato al secondo piano senza ascensore (a cui stanno provvedendo, infatti ci sono lavori in corso che rendono il passaggio nelle scale un po' scomodo). La porta dell'appartamento aveva la chiave difettosa, in bagno c'era un forte odore di fumo depositato/impregnato nelle pareti, in camera da letto c'era un forte odore di chiuso e nelle lenzuola/piumone erano presenti molteplici peli/capelli.

• Roxane (8/5): Notre séjour était très agréable. - Elena était disponible et accueillante, merci pour la panetone ! Appartement bien équipé et plus que suffisant pour deux, joli balcon. Sa localisation a 2km du Colisée et du centre est vraiment un atout, ainsi que les commerces de proximité et les accès aux transports en commun. Bons oreillers ! Le quartier peut être un peu bruyant la nuit, Quelques soucis d’eau chaude qui s’épuise rapidement, dommage.

Restoration works were happening also when I stayed

• Antonov (10/5): The overal impression of the stay: WONDERFUL !!! - The apartment is great and clean. It is spacious, very comfortable and quiet place to have a nice sleep. The kitchen is well equipped, also there is good choice of delicious coffee. We arrived at midnight. The host, Elena is very nice woman, she came especially to meet us. That was very nice of her. The overal impression of the stay, I must say it : WONDERFUL !!!

• Patryk (2/5): - Dobra lokalizacja Pralka, piekarnik w mieszkaniu To najgorszy pobyt rezerwowany przez booking, a jeździmy kilka razy w roku. Osoba opiekujaca się lokalem zapomniała o naszym przyjeździe. Mieliśmy zaakceptowane niestandardowe godziny przyjazdu między północą a pierwszą w nocy. Niestety mimo że byliśmy na miejscu 3 minuty po północy nie mogliśmy się dostać do lokalu. Nie otrzymaliśmy informacji o numerze mieszkania, na wiadomość na booking nie dostaliśmy odpowiedzi, a telefon nie odpowiadał. Spędziliśmy noc z dzieckiem na ulicy. Właścicielka odezwała się dopiero przed 8 i zamiast przeprosin otrzymaliśmy awanturę w języku polskim. Właścicielka nie poczuwala się do winy, bo według niej powinniśmy kontaktować się przez WhatsApp mimo że w wiadomości pisała o telefonie LUB whatsapp, a na telefon nie dało się dodzwonić. Mieszkanie nie było dobrze posprzątane, pod łóżkiem i na antresoli było dużo kurzu, piekarnik był brudny, a w pralce dopiero skończyło się prac pranie (ktoś później po nie przyszedł). W łóżku był problem ze stelażem, deska klozetowa się rusza, a drzwi od łazienki tra o ziemię co powoduje nieprzyjemny dźwięk. Na 4 dorosłe osoby i tydzień czasu zostawiono nam jedynie 1,5 rolki papieru. Kamienica jest obecnie w remoncie, co nie sprawia miłego wrażenia - np. Rury na wierzchu. Ogólnie nie polecam!

• Ziemowit (7/5): Pobyt 9 dni ze znajomymi - Dobry kontakt z właścicielką. Dobre położenie. Ręczniki nadają się do wymiany, są dziurawe i mają swoje lata. Drabinka na antresolę niepraktyczna, mogła być zamontowana w innym miejscu. Obskurna klatka schodowa, olbrzymia dziura w ścianie, brak kloszy lamp na klatce schodowej- co robi bardzo złe pierwsze wyrażenie.

Parkeren Kinderbedje aanwezig Een andere trap om het bed boven vanuit woonkamer gebruiken. Het was een beetje glad en spannend voor te kinderen om te gebruiken.

• Christine (7/5): San Lorenzo 42 stay - The proximity to Roma Termini was good - about 15 minutes walk. The apartment has a good layout and spacious. Separate bed locations was also good in the apartment. Many restaurants around the area as well as mini markets and really nice to walk around San Lorenzo. The front door would not open one day early in our stay. We tried numerous times before we sent emails & phoned the manager/owner multiple times before she opened the door from the outside (with trouble herself) & not looking pleased. We had trouble after that, opening the door from the inside to go out but after kicking the door it seemed to work. This just made us worry that the door would not open at any stage. It would be nice to have tea towels supplied & possibly a toaster in the kitchen. We also saw a few cockroaches in the kitchen area. However overall it was a good place to stay for 11 days.

• Andrea (1/5): Worst place ever - Not a single thing. Please do not waste your money! The list is endless… 1. The location made us feel scared and unsafe 2. The communication with the owner was quite difficult ti access the property. It took a few attempts messaging before calling to get access to the property 3. There’s no lift 4. The front door appears to have been broken into at some point. 5. We could not long the front door from the inside which made us feel even less safe. 6. We paid for a 2 BEDROOM room - there are 2 mezzanine “bedrooms”….so it’s more like a studio than 2 actual bedrooms. 7. Only 1 of the 2 “beds” were made up despite booking for 2 people and paying for 2 bedrooms. 8. The owner offered to come round with spare bedding eventually but that was after telling us it was our fault for not stipulating that we wanted to use both rooms…..we have stayed in multi 2 bedroom apartments including 1 in Rome a week before. We have never had to explicitly ask for 2 bedrooms to be made up and neither should we have to ask….we were made to feel like we were in the wrong, especially when we were sent a copy of another booking which had apparently requested that both beds be used and this is what we should have done, to have 2 beds made up for us!? 9. The bathroom was not clean. There were men’s toiletries in there and the shower tray looked liked it had not been cleaned in a long time. 10. Given these factors we had to leave the property. It was our final night of travels having stayed in probably 100+ properties over a 3 month period, and I can genuinely say this was the worst. We left as soon as we could make another booking and had to fork out €120 for the privilege. Please avoid at all costs.

• Miloš, (7/5): Ok for a couple and few days - The apartment is OK for 2 people traveling for a few days. Is is 15-20 minutes walking from Termini station. We could have left our luggage in the room before the boarding time. Smart TV where you can log your stream providers. The accommodation sent us confirmation about sooner arrival time but we could not accommodate anyway as there were other guests still in the apartment. So we had to wait outside for a few hours. Overall the host did not communicate at all even that I was asking for help with taxi to the airport (thanks to Booking for this service). The room was not super clean but also not super dirty, something between. Bathroom equipment was not in best condition, some parts were even broken. We did not have warm water one day, no clue why. Next day was OK. The rooms are quite dark and also small and there is almost no space for your stuff. We spent there one week with whole family (2+2) and it was not comfortable at all for us. The worst is probably the location - it is behind the railways and when you want to walk to the center, you had to pass many homeless people living close to Termini station.

• Terry (10/5): Amazing stay in an amazing area - The space in the apartment. The garden at the back. The free wifi was excellent. The area also seems daunting in the day on your first day but comes absolutely alive at night and you'll love it from then on. The people in San Lorenzo are so friendly too. Having to go back to the UK.

• Emma (8/5): Lovely stay, good location - We liked the lively location, good bars and restaurants, not touristy. It was very clean with good facilities and we had a warm welcome. The transport links to central Rome were not ideal but we managed ok. The main bedroom was hot to sleep in due to being on a mezzanine level which the AC didn't reach.

• .toshi (10/5): Clean, well maintained apartment with friendly, reliable owner - The owner, Elena was waiting for us. She was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and reliable. The area has 3-4 supermarket within 5 min walk. There are also several good restaurants around. Access to Termini train station or metro is about 15-20 min walk.

• Jay (7/5): The place grows on you. - The location of the place was really nice, it being in the uni students area, made it easier for us to get along in the area. The place the AC is positioned, only the two who would sleep in the room front are able to get the air, the other 3/4 people will be hot, opening the window is optional but with no airflow it isn't much help.

There are alot of taverns, shops, pastry shops and bakeries.. Apartmant is spacy and comfortable. Noisy neighbours (from other apartments) and hygiene of the apartment was not for our standards.

Friendly host. - Friendly host, clean and comfortable apartment, out of the hustle and bustle of Rome but close enough to public transport to access main attractions. transport system is easy to use. Great restaurants and bars near the accomodation, a lot of locals about which is nice to escape from busy tourist areas. Close enough to main station. Had a washing machine and coffee machine which was lovely! balcony to hang the washing also which was handy. Mild mould smell in bathroom but overall great stay.
