- Pranava (1/5): Very bad experience with the property owner - Nothing The owner did not respond promptly and we had to vacate the property because it was too cold..The small portable heater provided is very bad and couldn't heat up the place even after turning it fully on for 1 and half hours at maximum temperature.
- Anne (7/5): Welcoming Hosts and Great Location! - The friendliness and responsiveness of the host. The location was perfect for our needs; it was close to a bike path that took us to the Welland Flatwater Centre where the Canadian American Dragon Boat races took place. And the place was easy to find. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine, all extremely useful to have. Knowing that there was no stove, but only a hotplate, we pre-prepared our food so that we could manage our vegan diet. The place was cool and welcoming on our arrival. :-) Sadly we did not have very restful sleeps. The bed and pillows were too soft. We would have appreciated more natural light, particularly in the bedrooms. And, critically, we were disappointed that it was difficult to get any fresh air (vs. air conditioning); this meant that the rooms were stuffy. There was the main entrance door and one window in one of the two bedrooms, but no screens; when we opened them the second night for fresh air we suffered the mosquitos, to our distress. So, we slept poorly for the balance of our stay :-(
