Kelsey (8/5): Close to Vatican - Great location near the Vatican and a short walk to Trestevere. Host met us with keys. Air conditioning worked great! Cute patio but we never used it due to heat in June. Washing machine available and laundry detergent provided. Unit was clean, plenty of towels and linens provided. Bathroom was very small. Stairs to loft was narrow and made it difficult to go up down (our family ranges from 5'7"-6' tall. We rented this unit for its location and washing machine but there was no place to hang clothes in the unit or any type of laundry basket. You would have to carry your wet items through the unit and up the narrow loft stairs, crouch through a small door and walk out onto the patio to hang your clothes outside. The window in the bathroom looks into the back of the restaurant next door. There was a tarp and some bottles of water, initially it looked like a homeless camp. Kept that window shut the entire time. The room is located slightly lower than ground level so the skylight over the kitchen allows neighbors to see down into the unit.
