• Toni (8/5): We’d stay again - It was cozy and comfortable, bedrooms were immaculate, and anything you might need was available. Dogs permitted, had an enclosed yard. The host lives upstairs, and she is lovely! Friendly, but not intrusive. It was a bit cluttered, while rooms were clean, little things were overlooked, like out of date items in the fridge, and dirty crockery put back in the cupboard.

Great for anyone really wanting to have a nice getaway my children love it and live the fish pond out the front as the owners let them feed the fish and dog friendly complete peace of mind as its fully fence like your own front personal yard that you dogs will be able to go out and in without worries of them getting out will 100% be staying more often. Thank you for having us and being so kind and welcoming.

• Robyn (1/5): It was no stay and the whole experience was a complete disappointment. - The accommodation was very highly perfumed, with oil lamps burning in several rooms to the point that I immediately developed a massive headache and neither of us were able to stay inside at all. There was dog hair on all the furniture and there were cameras facing into the accommodation area, which I found rather intrusive and uncomfortable. We were not able to contact the landlady whose name I don;t know, as she didn't introduce herself in her messages. We did not stay there at all as it was impossible with the smell. Sadly we had to change our plans and return to sydney that night. We had hoped to visit Birdie Beach and other nearby attractions .....

The accommodation had not been prepared for us due to a problem the host had with another property they manage. However the host had not communicated the delay with us. The host allowed us to enter and let her know if we wanted to stay or not. When we entered there was food left in the fridge, the beds were unmade and clothes were left in the wardrobe like someone actually lived there. We chose not to stay. The host offered us a refund, which I don’t believe we have received yet. See above details

• Shahzada (8/5): It was a nice and well-kept house with everything we needed and was also comfortable. - It was a very nice and comfy place! It had everything we needed and provided great comfort. The host was kind and told us we could ask her if we needed anything. It also was a nice and peaceful neighbourhood we were in, and was in a good location - near Woolworths and Lake Munmorah! There were too many things and the house was a little crowded for the space.

The smell coming through the bathroom window!! the amount of furniture made it hard to move around comfortably, air con did not work as advertised, the lake view was a picture stuck to the back of the shed that you could see when you open the blinds. It wasn’t very clean, we didn’t feel happy to cook or eat there.Toaster oven was dirty, rubbish still in bin. it felt so crammed. We were very disappointed.

You will have everything you need plus more. The host was friendly, helpful with good communication. The location was fantastic very close to the lake we really liked the access to kayaks for guests. One bedroom was a little musty for our liking there is a fan to help with the mustiness.

Located opposite a reserve which was great for walking and recreation. Wifi connection for business purposes would have been ideal, but able to hotspot through phone.
• Lee (9/5): This was a great place to stay. - A very quirky place that was clean, neat and tidy and very well equipped - there was even fresh eggs in the fridge for breakfast. Located very close to lots of things eg shops, clubs and water activities etc. Not a lot of natural light inside.

Appreciated been able to have furbaby with us which was main reason for staying here. Crammed room and bathroom with little space for personal things as full of owners belongings. Living space crammed with three 3 seater lounges without even a coffee table to put a cup of tea on. Front fenced area unkept.

• Csaw1959 (8/5): Enjoyed this little treasure, would stay again. - The location was great for our holiday. The beds were extra comfy! The shower was good and so was the heating in the main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom needs better heating. The parking was a little tight, too many trailers and cars.
• Jacqui (1/5): no thank you - on the booking site, more like a downstairs downfall, wouldnt call it a delight It felt like we were in a cage on arrival, not a fan of pawn looking self portraits on the wall or dirty undies/bras being left out. the property wasn’t ready at 3pm when my friend checked in. the walls are thin so you can hear the owner, her dog and her guests upstairs. We left promptly the next day, upon which we noticed all the fish in the pond were dead, which was possibly one thing freaking out our dogs, not to mention my dogs got bailed up by the dogs across the street. The owner is now messaging me with “why didn’t I say something about her fish sooner”… they were already dead and we only noticed as we were leaving. The heating was also bad, never again, the only thing missing was a car up on blocks

• Amod (8/5): A nice comfortable pet friendly accommodation with many facilities - The best thing about the property was it was pet friendly. Kris had kept a lot of things in the house ready to use which was very handy. The proximity to the lake was a big plus. It was only a 8-10 minute drive for some shops and woolies. The property had reclining massage chairs which was so nice. All of this for a very decent price. Kayaks and safety vests were available which was great. There was ample parking space. The area in general was nice and relaxing It had a lot of spiders and other insects inside the property. The picture in one of the bedroom of a woman in lingerie was a bit too revealing and not ideal for children to view. The property did not have direct sunlight (not a big issue though) The presence of a CCTV camera overlooking us when sitting outside made us a bit uncomfortable.

• Selina (8/5): Perfect for Our Trip - I loved the location and the 2 dogs there Xena and Zara. The place was close to what we were there for and had plenty of resources for our stay. The kayaks and canoe was the highlight as we could use them whenever and we did on the lake that was minutes away. All was fine!
