Guest Reviews
- Dennis (10/5): Excellent! - Amazing place, above La Cabrera, one of the best restaurants in Buenos Aires, and in the middle of the trendy Palermo Soho. Excellent room and a really great host. The host Priscilla was super friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend this b&b! Nothing
- Alberto Yanosky (10/5): Maintain the friendly and committed way to deal with visitors, you exceded expectations! - Priscilla was great, so helpful and friendly, she helped us with all the doubts we had and instructed us on how to best take advantage of our time in Buenos Aires. Everything was perfect from helping us with the transfer from the airport to the place at a very complicated time (early in the morning), good breakfast and a very friendly interaction.

- Flavia (10/5): - Exelente
- CECILIA (8/5): Lugar cálido y confortable - Muy buen trato personalizado.. Lugar tranquilo y muy bien ubicado.

- Sara (8/5): Simple and easy with an excellent host! - Priscila was a true host and helped us even before we arrived with a transfer organisation at the airport, with the first tips in the city, and finally, when we left to Iguazu, making herself available in case we needed.
We liked particularly the breakfast, the tasty croissants, and the good coffee.
The building is pretty old but the place is very clean and simple and has everything you need. A good value for the money. It can get a bit noisy due to the lack of window insulation, but it is not a problem if you do not have a light sleep.
It takes around 30 minutes to get to the city centre by bus and a bit less by Uber. But the area has a lot to offer if you want to explore Palermo.
- Bruce (10/5): Exceptional - The staff are friendly and helpful, even with laundry in my Sunday pinch when all the commercial places are closed. (This might have been a "no" if they had been busier.)
This is in a classic building, with high ceilings & doors, plus a small balcony. It is in the middle of things, which I like. The modern AC/heat unit was quite effective.
It was easy to catch the city historical bus tour at Serrano Square and pay (in pesos) on the bus.
I like walking and a very nice collection of public spaces (parks & gardens) is about a 20-minute walk away. Lots of restaurants are nearby. I always have trouble with skeleton keys at first. I learned, though.
Young males worried about their manhood sometimes drive by on loud motorcycles, even in the wee hours. Maybe this is everywhere now.
- Finn (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (5/5): Passable -
- Catherine (4/5): Hostel experience - Very well located but very noisy neighbourhood It’s more like hostel in terms of quality. Breakfast is very poor and several times they did not not leave towels at all, we had to go and search for them as there was no staff around.
- Arindam (6/5): Great location. Great neighbourhood. Carry earplugs. - It is superbly located in the heart of Palermo soho.
However, the windows and doors to the balcony have gaps and as a result one wakes up to every passing bus all through the night. This apart from revellers walking past.
Breakfast includes a morsel of bread if you ask for along with black coffee. One can store personal items in the refrigerator and use the kitchen if needed. They could have mentioned that breakfast is as good as not included. And noise level in rooms could have been reduced to acceptable levels.
- Adam (9/5): Superb -
- Flavio (4/5): 2 star accommodation needing renovation - The location is very good and the air conditioning was new. The place is an old house above La Cabrera restaurant and it is clamming for renovation, lots of mold, old bed linens, old and uncomfortable pillows, hot water was not always available, toilet not flushing right, along with other minor inconveniences. It is also important to note that there's no reception and no one present at the venue most of the time. it can be noisy and not so dark to sleep as well.
- Dominique (10/5): Exceptional -
- Urtazu (9/5): Superb -
- Strobel (1/5): Better go somewhere else - The place does only accept cash in US Dollars or Euros which is kinda funny because a. it's clearly tax fraud and b. you do not get these currencies easily at the ATM or so in Argentina, so it's two birds for one for them - hard currencies from foreigners without conversion charge, no taxes to be paid. Refused any other method of payment (bank transfer, debit card, credit card etc.) as we did not manage to get any cash whilst being there. Had to create a Western Union account on the spot and transfer it to them, was an unpleasant encounter - as the place itself.
The beds were very uncomfortable, the room damp, the streets noisy at night and the windows/walls do not keep out the sounds. Left exhausted and early after two nights. Overall, overpriced for what you get in addition to a shameless administration. Try and stay somehwere else
- Maria (9/5): Superb - Thank you Priscila, thank you Andrea, thank Javier for the great hospitality.
- Javier (9/5): Superb -
- Giulia (8/5): Very good - Staff were really nice and the location is excellent. Breakfast was a bit poor. Maybe some fruit and eggs could be added. Unfortunately, there were no pots nor pans so we couldn't cook in the kitchen.
- Josie (9/5): Great location and comfortable bed - Great location, room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly, breakfast was good N/A
- Shanjana (9/5): Superb - The host was very helpful and promptly responded to everything. Also suggested and help us book tours The noise - the location was really good for anyone who wanted to go to restaurants and bars but it came with a cost of noise at night. The noise was louder between 1:30 am to 3:30 am , therefore had broken sleep during the weekends and day before public holiday
- Sabrina (10/5): Exceptional - the property was super charming. I had a balcony facing the super cool streets of Palermo. the restaurants in the area are so delicious and there is a coffee shop down the street called Cobre it was so good I went there regularly. the owners of the property were super attentive. they made sure I was feeling safe and comfortable, and they helped me with taxi arrangements upon my arrival to Buenos Aires. overall it was a super accommodating stay
- Jeroen (8/5): Value for money in great location. - Since this property was the least expensive of our 2 week trip, we didn’t know what to expect. But the stay was wonderful! Great location, comfortable bed, good shower. Andrea who works the weekends welcomed us and gave great recommendations for food. The airconditioning in the room did not cool.
They offered to arrange a transfer from the airport but we had to wait over 30 minutes for him. Better to grab a taxi or an Uber.
- Johann (9/5): Superb -
- Roy (9/5): Buenas - Perfect location in the heart of Palermo.
Old building giving a sneak feel from past.
Amazing host! The general traffic can be a bit noisy but thats everywhere!
- Augusto (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marcel (8/5): great stay in good location of BA, nice staff and good value for money - amazing location, good value for money not extremely cosy, but was not needed
- Yosef (10/5): The best - Andria she is so nice woman Very good location very good restaurant so beautiful area palermo
- Darryl (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (8/5): Enjoy my stay immensely Priscila was a great host staff very helpful - Very central to everything the staff very pleasant willing to help out with any requests rooms clean & tidy
- Isabela (8/5): It was a good stay and I recommend you to go. - Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast didn´t have options.
- Ingrid (7/5): Good -
- Marta (8/5): Very good -
- Vijay (9/5): Great location, host and value. I would stay again - Great location and amazing host. Priscilla was very helpful and kind.
- Fabiola (10/5): Great location, comfortable stay. Very happy to have stayed here. - I loved the location! It was very close to everything. The breakfast needs improvement.
- Gabriel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ada (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful room with high ceilings and balcony, nice breakfast and perfect location - just wonderful!
- Maria (7/5): Good -
- Celia (10/5): Wonderful. Location is terrific - The proprietor had the best social skills I have seen for years
Also she will do anything for you. I like fine old buildings and the balcony overlooking the street. This is in a wonderful location so the street life continues late into the night. We liked it, but it could bother some people.
- Catherine (9/5): I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it as a clean and safe accommodation for any solo traveller! - The property was in an excellent location, perfect as a home base for exploring Buenos Aires on foot. Palermo was lovely! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, providing suggestions and support and easily switching to English to make it easier for me to communicate.
- Angus (9/5): Superb - The host Priscilla was amazing, and very accommodating
- Poh (10/5): Fantastic hosts and location - The host and hostess were very accommodating. Because we didn't get to meet up to settle our accounts Priscilla even allowed me to make the payment after I get back for the second segment of my stay.
The location is splendid. Safe and easy going neighborhood. Many eateries within walking distance. Downstairs is the well-patronised La Cabrera steakhouse- waiting time 1h, so it wasn't a problem for us.
- Poh (9/5): Cozy and value for money - The owner is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. She speaks English fluently.
The room is very spacious and has a very high ceiling.
- Scarlatoda (8/5): Nice short stay place - The small hotel is good. Nice place to spend a night or 2 when traveling. We had the breakfast on time to catch our flight. The location is perfect for visiting Palermo neighborhood, there are great restaurants around the area and walking distance. Unlikely the hotel room has been repair and it small to the construction materials that were still wet. It was uncomfortable to sleep during the night.
- Marine (9/5): Superb - everything is perfect , breakfast is excellent. good location. Nice staff. extremely clean. absolutely perfect. you have to Pay the full price. in pesos it means you can not enjoy the western union change so the room is twice more expensive than any other room in Buenos Aires that is the same price but you Pay it cheaper in cash
- Cutruzzola (10/5): Exceptional -
- Myriam (7/5): Good -
