• Timothyliu (8/5): Very good - Hosts were very nice and responsive when lack of stuff. Well located. 4 bedrooms are located on the first and second floors, and there are other hosts living in the same house but in the basement with a separate entrance. Like all wooden houses, can hear voices of conversation clearly from the basement when on the first floor.
• Vanessa (4/5): Not plesant, you hear and smelleverything from upstairs . Did not feel safe or felt like there was privacy. No trashbags - The location and the backyard and the parking were my favorite part Unfortunately, the stay was not pleasant. It has to do with being on the lower floor with the 2 bedroom unit. The reason being is you hear every single foot step from upstairs (worse when they are coming down the stairs). Not only that you can hear them talking, snoring, watching tv, smelling their nasty fish or whatever they are cooking and even them smoking marijuana for 2 days in which the smell lingered. I booked for 8 nights but I had to book some place else because it was just awful experience. The people upstairs would stay up until 7am talking, jumping, screaming, singing, blasting the music all night. Not once did i sleep in any of the bedrooms inbut in the living room, with the door shut and the tv playing white noises on blast. And even with all that I would still wake up at 1am-3am to the upstairs people being loud and would not sleep until they fall asleep which would sometimes be 6am or even 7am. Because it was the basement there was no proper door so it did not feel safe or would it feel like there was privacy. The door was a glass door with no curtains facing the backyard. The backyard is a shared space so it would feel eerie and creepy at night when there was no light to see whats out there or who’s out and yet anyone can see everything inside because of the lack of curtains. Another issue was the fact that nothing really worked, I am sure it had to do with a fuse issue or something because I was microwaving something on the second day and all of a sudden the microwave stopped. None of the outlets by the kitchen worked anymore not even the toaster. I was also showering as well when one of the lights just turned off on it’s own. I tried turning it back on but it seems to stop working. Another issue was lack of garbage bags. There was no garbage bag in the kitchen trashcan. I had to grab garbage bags from the bathroom or used my own. The place overall was somewhat cleaned but I have been to other places where I felt much cleaner than here .
