Tracey (10/5): we look forward to coming again. this is the 2nd time we have stayed at the circle and will be back - Loved our stay but felt it could included a few more basics like toilet paper and cleaning supplies/ but over all very well equiped.

angela (7/5): Circle on Cavill - Great location, spacious apartment. The apartment could do with a new lounge suite as the one that is in there is not in good condition, and the blinds in the bedrooms don't block out any sun in the mornings, also some nice serving bowls and plates for having visitors for lunch. The lifts in the building are very slow, sometimes waiting more than 10 minutes which isn't ideal when checking out and having to walk to the cosmopolitan to drop keys off by 10am.

Natalie (6/5): well located appartment - The location of this property is unbeatable. it's within easy walking distance to everything Surfers Paradise has to offer, we didn't need to use the car at all once we arrived. The views from the apartment were absolutely stunning and the beds were comfortable, making for a relaxing space when we were inside. Unfortunately the noise levels made it a difficult stay for a family with small children. Between the trams, the nearby Slingshot attraction with people screaming on it late into the night, the kids were constantly woken up. However the biggest issue was the elevator situation.. with only one lift working, we frequently waited up to 40 minutes just to get down to the ground floor, as it was full every time it reached us. Very hard and overwhelming with little kids.

Melanie (9/5): Centrally located but above the noise! - The instructions for check in were excellent. Fabulous views, spacious apartment. Guest lounges on Level 55 are well worth a visit and we used the heated indoor pool at least twice every day, and went to the beach every day too - the washing machine was agodsend! Note - take extra togs (swimmers). Nothing we didn't like but some basics would have just elevated our stay. For example, salt & pepper, a dustpan and brush and some paper towel. A couple of the pans were pretty grubby but cleaned up with a scrub.

Hosts and their staff were very accommodating online and by phone cannot fault the facility or the hosts. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend and will return Having to come home and go back to work. Alex (8/5): - We are returning interstate customers over the last few years and intend on to keep returning as this location ticks all the boxs for our yearly family holiday to GC. The building had a lift no working on the day of check out and that left us waiting on our floor for 30min before we were able to catch a lift down to the lobby. This caused us to be late for our check out time of 10am. I also understand that this lift outage affected many others wanting to use the lifts in the building.
Serena (5/5): Several inconveniences, especially noise, light intrusion, and slow elevators, impacted overall comfort - Great location, amazing view. The elevator is slow, and finding the carpark initially is confusing. The master bedroom blinds do not provide adequate light coverage, and the second bedroom only has see-through blinds, so light comes in throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. There was also significant noise during the night, making earbuds necessary for sleep.

I mean nothing the property can fix, but it’s a very busy hotel, so wait times for the lifts are a bit long, especially with small kiddies. The room itself was nice, however, the pots and pans need to be updated.. the handles on the pans are so loose.. which can be so dangerous if they fall off and there’s hot food in the pan. Coffee table was really messy.. we had to go and buy disinfectant wipes to clean it. No thongs or spatulas to use on the BBQ?? Or any cleaning products to clean up after use?? No towels for using the pools?? And the remote for the master bedroom was no where to be found.. so couldn’t use the tv.

Susanna (7/5): Great views and location, blockout blinds need installing. - Amazing views, amazing location, Woolworths just below it as well as a few restaurants. We walked everywhere. Bedding was comfortable and kitchen was large. Great for entertaining. We were given access earlier then advised which was much appreciated. A big let down for us was having frosted doors and no blockout blinds in a few rooms. One room has a 1M wide window, floor to ceiling without any window coverings. This meant most of us were awake everyday from 5am as it was soo bright. This is a relatively easy fix to make the stay more enjoyable. Only 2 key cards are given and one was needed for electricity. This meant as a group of 7, if we came back separately we’d have to wait for someone with a key or head down and let them up. Would have liked at least some salt & pepper.

I did book it especially for the spa bath with views from bedroom but it was in poor order . Lots of gunge came flying out of the jets so no spa for three days sadly. Other than that the stay was enjoyable . Was travelling with my 17 year old Son. It is not two bedrooms . It is one and two beds in part of the main area. No doors or blinds. Cassandra (10/5): Spectacular views, spacious apartment, perfect location. - Large apartment with TV’s in every room meant our family had space to spread out and relax to ourselves. Open plan living in the main space was perfect for lunches and dinners together. Amazing views from every room. The lifts may have been undergoing maintenance but it did take a long time to wait for one.
Expedito (10/5): This place is a must! Wonderful view, location and facilities. - Where do I start? This is the best holiday apartment that I have stayed in the Gold Coast. The location was perfect as it was directly above the Woolworths on Cavil and it was a quick walk to the beach. Everything from restaurants to chemist are only a few minutes away so it’s perfect when you have a few children. The facilities were clean and updated. The kids enjoyed having a TV in their own room and the Mrs enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and view. Being on the 44th floor, it was breathtaking and beautiful. You are far enough above all of the lights and traffic that the sounds are not an issue yet the calming sounds of the beach was fantastic in the evenings. Our family enjoyed the pool, a quick tip after midday the sun no longer hits the main pool but there is a pool that gets all the sun from midday till sunset on the fourth floor that is not really publicised too much. It also has a fantastic spa that the kids enjoyed. The key collection was quite tricky as there is only a few parking spaces in front of the collection site only two streets away. Another tip there is a specific tag for the return box, spent a while trying to figure it out lol. Read the instructions for which tag goes for what door/gate/elevator.

Janine (8/5): Very enjoyable, very comfortable, great location & great view. - Location, size, amenities Bedroom at the back with 2 single beds needed a double roller blind - got very hot! Not all bedrooms had mirrors. For a groups of 10, more than 2 set of keys would have been better. It was hard with only 2 showers for 10 women.

Sue (9/5): Perfect base for our Theme Park adventures! - The location is fantastic for a family with shops, restaurants and a supermarket directly below. With ceiling to floor windows, the awesome views from the apartment are of the beach, sea and high rises on one side and the canals and sunsets on the other. This was a perfect base for our adventures at the Theme Parks!

Leo (3/5): Mood is ruined - The room cleaning needs to be more careful. There was a broken glass in the house for guests to use, which caused scratches on the guests' hands. I believe this was not intentional by the cleaning staff, but they should check the items in the room more carefully to prevent this from happening again. The professional quality of property management needs to be improved. When our guests reported this situation to the property management, they only received very negative feedback, blaming the problem on guests needing to be careful when using items. After we further communicated this issue, we didn't get any feedback until checkout. I don't think this is what a five star accommodation should have. The guest was very unhappy, not because his hand was scratched, but because of the negative attitude of the property management.
