Peter (6/5): cheap so don't complain - Check-in easy no problems there are no elevators so don't have heavy bags. The apartment was fine no problems apart from being noisy at night and the hot water failed twice, not happy about that but you have to consider the cost = cheap and the location = great.
Aki (10/5): - 年末年始に小学生の子供と9泊しました。予約時のメールでの対応が迅速かつ正確になされ、安心してロンドンに到着しました。到着当日はイブで不動産は早く閉まりましたが、事前に相談していたので、鍵の受け取りに問題はありませんでした。また、何かあった時のために緊急連絡先があるのも安心でした。パディントン駅に非常に近く、バス、地下鉄、郊外線など公共交通機関の利用が楽です。また荷物が多ければアパートの目の前までタクシーも呼べます。早朝夜間共に安全で、一人歩きで怖い思いをすることは無いと思います。歩くことに慣れている人なら、バッキンガム宮殿や自然史博物館まで行けると思います。テスコなどのスーパーマーケットや安いお土産屋さんも近いので便利です。電子レンジ、コンロ、各種調理器具、皿類全て揃っていて自炊に便利です。ただ一つ悪い点は、アパートの住民の生活音がかなり聞こえます。礼儀正しい人がほとんどですが、たまに変な人が同時期に泊まったらストレスがたまると思います。またここに泊まりたいと思います。

Definitivamente muy muy sucio, desde que llegamos las telarañas colgaban del techo y había polvo por todos lados. Las cortinas no cerraban bien y el colchón esta tan viejo que es como si te quedaras sobre los resortes, ya está muy viejo el colchón y no se puede descansar. No lo recomiendo y no me quedaría de nuevo ahí. El precio es alto para lo que ofrecen.

Ivan (6/5): Ok 2-3 star hotel. - Located 5 min walk from Paddington station hotel offered private bathroom and kitchenette with toaster, stove, microwave and fridge. Unfortunately hotel shows signs of wear and tear. Sink and tub do not drain water fast enough. Tv did not work for the duration of a stay. We were promised that this would be fixed however it wasn't. This hotel is a good option for the price that we paid, since we only used it to sleep inside. Please note that there are no elevators, AC, or reception desk. Reception is located on parallel street.

It was so hot it made sleeping difficult - and we had been travelling in a hotter Turkey before that! A good location and good value but would not recommend for a summer visit.

It was summer and the room was unbearably hot. The amenities are non existent. If you don’t mind a climb and don’t expect to spent time in there and you’re an individual or a small couple then it’s barely ok. Otherwise. Sorry but avoid.

Anyway reception is one of the housing agency. Staffs were ok. No hangers inside room, remote was not working, The room with kitchen was quite small but the Bathroom....was tooooo tiny i’ve ever seen. If there’s no bath, then better maybe. You cant sit down on the toilet,..just half of you..lol. Someone is smoking inside building, so i smell when i opened the window. They didnt clean room. A part from that,,the bed was clean,nice, comfy bed. Slept well for 2nights. Response on the phone was quick, they try to fix. Thanks.

(6/5): Great location, big window had no lock - It is a great location and first day ‘check-in’ (at an off premises location) staff were friendly, but the when I got to room the door stuck on the floor (I mean really stuck!) and the lock misaligned so the door didn’t actually lock at all. So the next room the door locked, but the nice big window had no lock at all. Also they changed the WiFi passcode during my weeklong stay but didn’t tell me, let alone provide the new code (they had my email, easy enough to inform current guests). But, the location was convenient to everywhere I wanted to go.
Sarah (6/5): Would not recommend - The location was great but I was not wowed by anything else. The bathroom was tiny, barely able to get in and out of it. The room was not as pictured on the listing. The place was clean but everything was a bit rough. On a safety note the door to our hotel room had very obviously been broken into and was minimally repaired with putty. There we’re very loud people in the apartment beside us. The internet would barely work. We stayed there for 5 nights, and the only time someone came to service the room was to swap out towels (which we did not need) but they did not empty garbage bins or replace toilet paper; we had to go buy our own.

Small apartment with all facilities for a short term stay at a reasonable price right in the centre of London and next to Paddington station, so easy to get around everywhere. Staircase in the building looking a bit shabby and could do with a fresh coat of paint; disappointing that there is no lift, so may need to walk up several flights of stairs.

Verified traveler (4/5): 30£ cleaning fee??? - The hotel charges 30£ for the cleaning of the room, (shouldn't it be included in the price?)and still I stepped on a viscous substance, when I checked under the bed, a bottle of beer was the source of it. The hotel is set in a very good location, but you hear the flushing sand running of water from the other rooms throughout the night.

Verified traveler (6/5): Nothing like the photos - My friend and I stayed here for a while we travelled over to the uk and were shocked to find mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, toilet seat broken, used dental floss sticks under the bed and stunk of cigarettes. We knew when we booked it’s nothing flash and it did it’s purpose but it was really the location that made it for us.

Mishka (4/5): Good location - Unfortunately, we got "underground" flat. Perhaps other flats are bigger and lighter. For first instance I got a shock: room is tiny, a dusty fan is working, bathroom sink has a space for a free "bar" of soap, light is very poor, water marks on a side of a shower cubicle and a notice on a door we will be changed if water left on a bathroom floor. We mentioned this issues when checked in and all got sorted. Thanks Roxy! Unfortunately, I didn't notice then the state of floor under bed and sofa. This is not dust and rubbish from one night stay. Not sure why did we pay a cleaning fee. Once again I hope other flats in better condition.

BREN (4/5): - it's right next to THE MERCURE Hotel @ £359 per night room rates - - cos you check into this place it's so diss-disparagingly different and downmarket it's not even funny. STAY AWAY - Paddington can be a bit rough too the area.
Verified traveler (4/5): Won't use again - The property was not clean. There were spiders running on the bed. The bathroom washbasin had its stopper firmly fixed, which meant the basin could not be used. The shower curtain was dirty and the bathroom was so very small that even for a petite person it was easy to bump your knees / elbows into the things because there is hardly any space between the toilet, bath and the washbasin. The walls are very thin so one can clearly hear everything from the adjacent rooms, which means you are not going to have a good night sleep.
C (2/5): No Luxury, Not Studio, stay elsewhere - From the almost rude commands, to the “studio” that is quite possibly the smallest room ive ever been in. Serviced apartment does Imply that there would be an element of service, I had the same towels for 5 days, same sheets. There was no kettle! The overwhelming smell of Chlorine would more be at home at the local council gym Unfortunate experience, an error in judgement, I’ll bring a tent next time, that way when I boil water on the stove the experience will be well rounded.

I dont recommended unless you travel light, need an accomodation for overnight and you are under budget

We enjoyed our stay but we arrived on a Bank Holiday weekend & had no hotwater for 5 days & no one to contact.Building very old but facilities were small but we managed, kitchen was OK but we ate out for all meals. Overall it did not affect our stay & we will return to London again.

It's a small studio that is in a very central location and so it makes it easy to move around town. That being said, the steps up to the unit were quite taxing when trying to take your luggage up to your room.

There were dozens of restaurants and pubs nearby. The room was as described, with a bed and pull out couch, and small kitchen. the bathroom was VERY small, If you are larger than average the bathroom would be a problem. Clean, comfortable and quiet.
Samuel (10/5): Superb Value - We stayed seven nights in Jun 2016 in this hotel and really enjoyed it. It is about a block from the Paddington station from which you can get to anywhere in London. Although the walk from Paddington Station is along a very busy street, the hotel is tucked in a very quiet, safe street. The street from Paddington is lined with small restaurants. We tried several but our favorite was Mimo’s Italian. The rooms are small but we had three people in our party and had plenty of room. The hotel has a very good system for issuing keys if you check in after the registration desk is closed. But if you read a review from June 2016, in which some people were not happy, that is because I mistakenly picked up their key. So don’t blame the hotel for their bad experience. The only downside for Americans is that there is no air conditioning. It was not a problem for us because we were there in June and it was cool. Also be aware that there is no daily room service, so you get to clean up and straighten up by yourself. We’d definitely state at Hyde Park Apts again if we go to London.

Betsy (8/5): Good short-let apartment close to Paddington Stati - This is a nice apartment/flat in a very quiet square off Sussex Gardens, very close to Paddington. Check-in is not at the flat so this was somewhat inconvenient for a traveller on foot, but the staff went out of their way to help me and my very heavy luggage up 5 flights of stairs. The flat was warm, the facilities were good. The bed could have been a bit better but it was OK. I appreciated the extra trouble taken by the staff.
Joe (2/5): They have their policy I have mine. Never again! - Having prepaid the booking on arrival they required 200GBP as a security deposit. The option was to leave my full credit card details including CVV or the SECURITY number(It is called a security number for a reason). The alternative is to leave 200GBP in cash which I obviously did. As they only operate between 9am and 6pm that means your stay will revolve around their schedule not yours. For that reason it is the first and only time I will stay with them. Never again. Besides the accommodation is below standard compared to most other hotels for the same price range in the immediate vicinity.
Kyri (6/5): Great Location - For all intents and purposes it was a good studio flat. It was just incredibly cramped and narrow. But if all you need is a bed and a shower, then great.

Raymond (6/5): Hyde Park apartment stay - The apartment was fine. I do wish the window could have opened because if did get stuffy. We had a problem with the toilet which they immediately took care of. The location was ideal.
Blake (4/5): Would not stay here again - The toilet only half worked, the shower door handle was broken and the laundry takes 3-4 hours to complete one medium load.
Verified traveler (4/5): Tiny with inconvenient bathroom & no amenities - The only really good thing about the apt. was its closeness to Paddington Station and tube stops for 2 lines. The most distressing was that the French door onto a terrace did not lock into the frame when I arrived. There was a flimsy chain but I had to use my suitcase to keep it from blowing open. When I told the person at the separate check-in location he said he'd fix it. He sent an email saying it was fixed when it was not. It took an email to additional staff for the door to be secured. This is a minimal apt. not a hotel, for example the two tea bags were never replenished during a 2 week stay. If staying for more than 2 days bring your own soap. Tiny=the small fridge door hits the bed when only partly open. There was no rubber mat in the slippery tub and the shower curtain rod was so high that I at 5' 6" had to wear shoes to hang clothes on it. There is NO helpful info about how to use the TV--the remote can not turn it on or off for instance. Also no BBC 3 or 4 reception that I could find. None of the outlets is reachable from the bed and all but one require that the appliance be on the floor. Also only overhead lights, no lamps.
Bella (2/5): The hotel is more like a cheap dirty motel - They had broken and dirty sheets, dirty bathroom, no amenities, prepare to bring your own soap and toilet paper. There is no one available to take complaints, or get service. You have to go on a mysterious hike to get the room key. There is no lift, so prepare to walk up many flights of tiny, and not straight stairs. When they say fourth floor they really mean 7th floor, because there are many quirky landings. This is a house turned into a "motel" not worth the cost. You can hear everything your neighbors do and say. Their is no heat or AC units. The walls are dirty, and the floor are dirty. Their is no cleaning staff, prepare to use the same sheets, and towels though out your stay. The area is not tourist friendly either, not a lot of places to eat.
Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent value and location - Looked for a good value room close to Paddington Station At £100 a night this fulfilled the need , within 4 minutes walk of station Located in small quiet residential square. Smallish room but with tasteful new decoration and furniture. Very clean. Fully equipped kitchenette and FREE WiFi. Washing machine available Many grocery stores and restaurant in area for supplies No reception so had to pick up keys from nearby office. Very efficient and friendly service and requests were accommodated. Downsides - very small bathroom (but did include bath/ shower). Had to leave card details ensuring £200 damage guarantee (not activated). Overall excellent value for money and will definitely return on next visit to London
Verified traveler (8/5): Clean Hotel in a Safe Location - This was a very good London hotel for the cost. It had a well-equipped kitchenette for basic food preparation and the staff was very nice to deal with. It is a little awkward if you have to check in and out outside of office hours, which i did, but I still found the staff willing to accommodate me as best they could. I arrived at 10 am on a Sunday morning very jet-lagged and they quickly cleaned a room so that I could get in there by noon--well before the check-in time. It is in a quiet square very close to Paddington Station.
Verified traveler (8/5): Convenience - First reason I chose this apartment is the location which it certainly fit my requirement. It is very convenient to travel as it has all the access of public transport all within walking distance. Regarding the room, it is clean, well kept but small. Although it is small, I think this is what the amount I paid should be. Having said that, the space is still well fit enough for me as a single traveller and petite built. The toilet is small too but I have no problems with the heater and water supply. I have not much comment on the kitchen as I only used the microwave. But the kitchen cabinet is furnished with basic amenities for cooking. It also includes different glasses to enjoy wine session if you want. Wine opener, knifes, cutting board, a well- functioning fridge, kettle, toaster, plates and cutlery are all provided. Washing solution and new sponge are provided too. I have 10 days stay there. The only extra effort I need to do is to discard my rubbish as it was not done after many days. Otherwise I would recommend others for a stay there but I am not sure if it is equally good in a bigger room because I stayed in a single bedroom.
Dr AN (8/5): great location, service not bad - Very late in changing towels. Had difficulty in getting the necessary towels. Yet great location, as it takes less than five minutes to either Kensington Gardens or Hyde Park.
Shero (4/5): Only it is closed to Paddington Station - The only benefit I would mention regarding Hyde Park Appartment being close to Paddington Station rather than that, no elevators, hard steps, hot rooms, no AC, very small rooms
Abby (2/5): Attempted Break-in - We were surprised to see our tiny "apartment" was on the basement level. The first impression was just that is was tiny. Barely room for the 3 people we had booked for. Additionally, we could not control the heat ourselves and it was broiling. For that reason, we had the windows open while falling asleep at night a hand pulled back the curtain and a man in a hoodie was there. We said hello and he ran up the stairs. The weird part was that the gate was looked with a padlock and we heard it shut, which made us think it had to be someone that new their way around. As it was a Sunday, I had to email the letting office and never got a reply! I highly advise AGAINST staying at these apartments.
Manish (6/5): Good Location - Very small room for family. WC was virtually squeezed benetth the wash basin and it was very uncomfortable to use. Guests must pre-arrange the keys if arriving late. Although booking did not mention of any cleaning charges, the contract that I was made to sign did so. Need to see, if I am charged something. Very convenient location. If it was anywhere else, I will not pay more than USD 50 for this quality of accomodation.
Jamil (8/5): Great Location - Location of the apartment is excellent and the apartment was presented in excellent condition. The only downside is that it is a bit small. But overall, offers excellent value for money.

DR.WAHID KHAN (10/5): hyde park apartments, 18, talbot square - i am extremely happy about the room we were provided. we were a family of 3, it was good to have room on ground floor with big window opening down the street. room was perfect for us. the kitchen was good had all utensils were almost new. location was perfect and quite. two underground station within 5min walking distance.local grocery market nearby to the hotel, perfect for family with small children. all kinds of food available nearby with multicuisine options. rooms were nicely maintained. only negative point being no one there in apartment if in case u need. office of apartment at 5min walking distance open during working hours only. also sound little fishy when the asked for my credit card details at check in to be filled despite my booking fully paid in advance.will definitely stay again if i go to london again

Jennifer (6/5): Hyde Park Apts near Paddington - Overall, the apartment was nice and clean. My two complaints were that the windows didn't lock and opened onto a fire escape (so I slept with one eye open), and that I was on the 3rd floor (i.e. 4th floor to Americans) and there was no lift. My suitcase was quite large and heavy and it was a real chore to get it up to my room by myself. I would have prefered to know that there was no lift before I booked it. On the plus side, it was very close to Paddington Station, and I needed to catch the Heathrow Express the next morning, so the location was perfect. I would stay there again if I had someone to lug my baggage up all the stairs, but probably not again solo.

Grace (10/5): Perfect location, quiet and clean. - I had a pleasant stay and would stay there again. The location was ideal and easy to get to other parts of London by the tube that was just a minute walk away.
Norman T (2/5): Great Location...Terrible Place - Great being near Paddington Station but nothing else was positive during stay. First there is no sign or instruction on arriving. There is an 'emergency' number which I called after switchboard did not answer after 5 minutes on hold. Emergency number led me to another office who said they had left me a voice message re key instructions and since I was travelling in India I could not confirm (later checked and did not received one). OK in end not a huge deal but then I saw the studio room..tiny with toilet IN the shower, poor internet, no amenities like soap, they left old sponge to clean dishes (ew!) and dishes were dirty so needed rinsing. Bed sags in middle so is uncomfortable. I left a day early to another hotel just to get away!
B (2/5): - There was a large lump of disintegrating soap left uncleaned on the bath side. The kettle did not work. The appartment smelt musty on first arrival - needed to open all windows to air it. The sofa was lumpy. The arrangements to pick up keys was communicated very late - after travel had started. The information should have been sent at the time of booking as the keys had to be collected from a different address.
Vasily (4/5): Cheap apartment, unfriendly staff - It is necessary to talk to hotel administration before your travel. If you get here with usual expedia voucher you will find locked doors, keys hidden and there will be no one to answer you how to get into your room. The telephone number on the voucher is barely helpful, the staff does not know about expedia users and cancels the phone talks. When I finally opened my room there was used dirty bed linen and wet towels in it, and in my neighbour's room also extremely dirty toilet. However, someone came and changed my bed linen in some 3-4 hours after telephone complaint whille I was out searching for new bed set in nearest shops. The kitchen extractor fan was almost unhelpful, fire alarm turned on every time I tryed to fry something. Otherwise it is normal english small apartments for that money. But be prepared for possible surprises.
