- Rohitash (9/5): - The host is very helpful and kind.
- Travilla (10/5): My trip in Hanoi was memorable. - The owner is very approachable. Mother type kind of a person. I will recommend this to my friends. Thank you owner 😊🇵🇭 None

- Juliette (10/5): Perfect place to explore Hanoi from - Nusmile was the perfect place to stay. Ms Nu was so friendly and helpful, checking in with me before I arrived. I went to the wrong address (my mistake - Ms Nu sent me the address but I just went to where Google maps said it was) so Ms Nu came to collect me with a smile. She then helped me with some places to eat.
The room is in a great location in the old town, with easy walking to most attractions. It's very homely, with a comfortable bed, and a great view from the balcony. I didn't mind this but fyi - the room is overlooking the old town streets, with the noise that comes with that - bring earplugs
- Atanas (5/5): - It was in a good location There was mismatch with the room and the pictures. The owner said that the room I have booked is not like on the picture with a window and bright but a dark with minimalistic window. That was a bummer! Please don’t lie with adding good pictures!!!

- Jens-Ole (9/5): -
- James (8/5): - Staff were very helpful to upgrade me to a nicer room at another hotel for free. Hotel was nice and good price
- Georgia (6/5): - booking the room to have during the day as i was just needing it for a few hours before ha giang loop even though i had the room booked until the next day, the guy knocked on my door asking how long till i was leaving.
fridge is very loud
- James (10/5): Comfortable and affordable - The owner (Nu) is terrific. Always on call (via WhatsApp). Located in the heart of old town, life around the hotel is bustling with activity. But the rooms are quiet. And it’s located above a coffee shop! Big plus for me :) Like any old property, it could use a paint job here or there. But I find such imperfections charming.

- Patrice (10/5): - Chambre 303.
Rien.
Qu'il pleuve la nuit ?
Histoire de râler... lol
- bell (9/5): Very pleasant - I liked the location . The lady there was lovely It needs a good spring clean
- Henna (6/5): It'll do - The location was great, really a stones throw away from michelin recommended eateries.
The bed was very comfortable, the place was spacious and the host was nice. The overwhelming smell of damp, no windows to air it out and the extracter fan in the bathroom is black with dirt. For a place THAT damp smelling, the least that can be done is to clean the extractor fan.
Price was higher for what it was, i specifically chose something in a slightly higher bracket to avoid this but i have paid less per day for better during my trip

- Kim (8/5): Perfectly located - The location is perfect. Just 7 minutes walk from Train Street and walkable to lots of the highlights of Hanoi. There are numerous coffee shops, restaurants, and massage shops nearby. The room is large and has everything you need, including an iron. The balcony is perfect to relax after a long day of sightseeing or in the morning whilst planning your day. There is also a rooftop patio that's cute if you want to relax in a larger space. It was self check in and check out. The bed was comfortable and the shower had enough hot water for one person to shower. Towards the end of my showers it started to go cold. The room is up some pretty steep stairs and there is no lift so if you have mobility issues you might struggle. I had to wait around 20 minutes when I arrived as self check in wasn't explained beforehand.

- Tamara (9/5): Great location in the Old Quarter, super helpful host. - Fantastic location right in the heart of the Old Quarter. So many attractions, temples, cafés, and restaurants are within walking distance. The room’s terrace is the perfect size, and it’s such a joy to watch the bustling life of Hanoi from there. The host is absolutely wonderful – always ready to help with anything from bus bookings to arranging a driver for short trips around Hanoi. Super responsive, kind, and helpful. Highly recommended!
- Taryn (9/5): Superb - Super cute. Entrance through a coffee shop in the heart of the old quarter. Had a mini fridge which was convenient. Loved the balcony!
- Yuan-chan (8/5): Very good - Cheap You get what you pay for
- Omer (7/5): Good -
- Hedieh (5/5): Passable - Location is good. Lots of attractions in walking distance. The staircase is so narrow and steep. Not for elderly and suitcase. Lots of stair to "2nd" floor. The corridor after the shop is so dark and messy and the staircase is the same. We even saw a rat there.
- Ipsita (10/5): Exceptional - Pros: Bang in the middle of Old Quarter, room true to photos advertised, Ms Nu is very helpful and will arrange cars to and from airport and is always available to help over whatsapp. Big room, great balcony.
Cons: Entrance is a bit weird through a coffee shop. Steep stairs with no elevator but Ms Nu and staff help with carrying luggage upstairs.
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional - Nu was friendly. She checked in on me via WhatsApp during my stay. She can schedule a car to take you to the airport at a competitive price. I know there is the Grab app for rides, but it is all the more convenient to have the car scheduled to show up at the place.
- Aaron (7/5): Good -
- Isobel (8/5): Very good -
- Marek (10/5): Good place to stay - Absolutely loved the staff especially Nu,, very helpful and caring ,, place is in good location close to city centre but quite enough to have a good sleep ,, definitely recommend the place
- Olga (9/5): Good location in the heart of Hanoi - Good location, in the very heart of Old Town of Hanoi. The host Nu was very friendly and helpful, helping in organising the bus tickets for us.
The room was comfortable and clean. Nice place to stay for several nights in Hanoi. In order to enter the hotel you have to pass through the coffee shop at the ground floor. After 11pm the door closes so you'll need to enter the code. It was not a big issue as Nu sent me the clear instructions how to do it.
- Jenny (9/5): Superb - Location: in the center of Old Quarter, walking distance to great restaurants and attractions, including a few Michelin. Staff helped with luggage up the stairs. Host is easy to communicate and makes recommendations of local resources. Room is big with windows. There're clotheslines to use on the roof.
- Tamara (9/5): Superb - Really good location and comfortable bed. The entrance is through a coffee shop and that was a bit weird.
- Killian (9/5): Friendly staff - Staff were friendly and very helpful
- Geraldine (8/5): Very good -
- Glanville (8/5): Very good - Incredible location and lovely staff
- Spaziano (9/5): If you are looking for a midranged place with no frills, and excellent location with a great host - this is your spot. - Location location location. Right in the heart of the old quarter. Across the street is bun cha dac Kim - a one star Michelin rated restaurant ($3.50 for an incredible meal). Loved having a balcony to over look the bustling streets. Nu was SO wonderful and kind. She helped me set up the next few days of my trip and booked a tour and a bus for me. Very responsive. Checked in on me. Had a list of places to visit. I didn’t mind it - but if you stay out late or get up early - you need to open the shop doors below (it’s above a coffee shop) . It wasn’t a big deal - but for some it might be. To be honest it was very easy to manage.
- Sarah (5/5): Passable - Balcony. Location. Not nearly as nice as the photos. Needs a deep clean. Balcony windows filthy. The first night the room I booked was unavailable. They put me in a far less nicer room.
- Jules (10/5): Amazing stay! - We loved how accommodating Ms. Nu was. Location is at one of the busiest intersection. A Michelin-guide restaurant is just across the street. The view at the balcony and s great, it makes you feel the Hanoi spirit. Host was very accommodating and very helpful. Helped us book a reservation at Tam Vi! Just a hard time carrying our luggages upstairs but that's our problem because our luggages were big.
- Lotte (8/5): Very good -
- Tomer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gaëtan (9/5): Superb - Very well located and very helpful and available owner. She booked a taxi for us from airport to the hotel at a good price.
- Helen (8/5): Good value good location and lovely service - It is well located in the old part of the town my room was big and clean and had a hairdryer and a fridge the owner was very friendly and accommodating It was quite dark inside
- Joel (10/5): Clean, comfortable, amazing location, friendly and helpful host 😊 - Clean, comfortable, great location
- Yam (9/5): Superb -
- Selina (9/5): Great stay ☺️ - We stayed already in three different rooms at Nusmile home and loved it.
The owner is very friendly and helpful and you can ask everything per whatsapp. You can even book tours with her.
The rooms are very nice with comfy clean beds and the balcony room had a great view.
The location is amazing and you can walk almost everywhere, because it’s in old town. There are a lot of nice cafés, restaurants and shops all around.
- Margot (1/5): I do not recommend. At the beginning the place was nice, but the host began to harass me with many messages all the day -
- Ancilla (4/5): Disappointing - good location Toilet stank so bad!! im not sure if the drains were blocked or we were just getting the aftermath of whatever the family upstairs was cooking.
- P (8/5): Thank you Nu, I ll be back - Thank you Nu for the good stay and for your great help. The facility is good, wifi works well. Some rooms require climbing stairs. Some rooms are a bit noisy but overall a good experience
