• Ramona (9/5): A truly charming 'home away from home' experience! - This place lives up to its name and is very charming indeed! A lot of care has gone in to making the place comfortable especially for guests planning a long stay there. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, the kitchen was clean and fully equipped, the shower pressure was strong, the beds were comfy and having an outdoor terrace that lead to a private garden was a real bonus! The location is ideal if you plan to visit Windsor Castle and Kew Gardens as trains leave from Kensington Olympia, just a 4 min walk away. Checking in and getting access to the key was straightforward. We would love to come back here again! The main issue we had was with one of the front door keys which kept getting stuck. It took a lot of patience and technique to get the angle just right for the key to come out. The entrance hallway of the building was in the midst of being renovated so it wasn't a pretty sight but other than that, it caused us no problems. Also, a dustpan for the broom would have come in handy.
• İrem (10/5): It was a nice cozy stay with our 3 years old baby girl for 9 days♥️ - It was nice cozy and centrally located.. and also I would like to give the Short Stories team full marks. Everyone was very friendly, and you assisted and informed us about everything even before our reservation was confirmed. For example, when we had an issue with the heating, you intervened immediately. Also, helping with the early check-in and sending a video of the stairs for the stroller before we arrived was much appreciated.

• Janine (6/5): Schön aber nicht geeignet für mehr als 2 Personen. - Die Gastgeber waren sehr gut zu errichen. Bei der Ankunft konnten wir die Terrassentür nicht verrrigeln. Die Gastgeber haben sich promt und sehr gut gekümmert. Die Lage, das Apartment an sich. Die Wohnung sollte nicht an mehr als zwei Personen vermietet werden. Wir waren zu Dritt und das Bettsofa im Wohnzimmer war eine Zumuntung. Mein 15 jähriger Sohn - der einen guten Schlaf hat - hat ganz schlecht geschlafen. Es ist eine Konstruktion aus Metallfedern und einem Tuch auf das eine 3 cm dickes Futton gelegt wurde. - Eine Zumutung!

• Diana Stefania (9/5): Very nice apartment! Clean and in a nice zone - Good location, cute apartment Little depositing space
• SV (2/5): Disappointing. - Good location. We came to the flat, and it looked like a construction site entering the property (construction materials, garbage, etc.). Nobody had warned us about this. Then the heating didnt work. We even spent some time video-calling maintenance (they couldnt come on that day), but that did not improve anything. We stayed in an apartment with around 16 degrees celcious and our daughter got sick. Also, it was very noisy, especially from the flat above. We heard people running around and furnitures moving every day/night until 01:30 am, impossible to sleep. Also, except for the kitchen, the rest is in dire need of renovation (e.g. windows not closing properly - also a security issue), especially the bathroom. There is a also a strong smell of mold and the couch is really impossible to sleep in. The managers of the property did not solve any of this (for example with providing a little electric heater), and at some point even stopped responding. Terrible customer service in a pretty run down flat. Disappointing.

• Francesca (8/5): Great flat , I would book it again and recommend to other - The flat is nice and in a perfect location for travelling to other areas in London. There are plenty of buses available, and it is conveniently placed within walking distance of supermarkets and the high street shopping area. We loved having the freedom to do our laundry and prepare breakfast at home. Even though it was quite cold, we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio with a nice cup of coffee. The flat has been cleaned, but the bedroom curtains have some stains. It would be advisable to either replace them or try to clean them. The mattress is okay for a week’s stay, but if you stay longer, you might experience back pain, especially if you're not young.
• Zhang (9/5): Great - Clean and less crowded location. Facilities are modern and new. It’s spacious in London standards. Sound proof is bad due to the old apartment building that I can hear neighbours above us walking. Even it’s on ground floor, there are steep stairs right after the entrance. So not suitcases friendly if your suitcase is heavy.

• Peter (2/5): Expect to have heating, lights & powerpoints to work when charged hefty fee. Neg refund 1 night - Contacted Booking .com for a refund of 1 night's fee due to issues at our stay. That was a laborious process and very poor custoerm service on their part. Seemed happy to take payment but dragged their feet refunding
• Quax (6/5): Prima appartement als je niet teveel verwacht. - Leuke tuin, fijne zitkamer. Dat we om 10:00 smorgens weg moesten, en geen bagage michten achterlaten. Het is zeer ongandig aangezien ook in de buurt niks te vinden was, ondanks de tips van de verhuurder. Echt lastig. Het bed is erg klein. Er zaten vieze vlekken in de gordijnen en de bedlampjes waren kapot. De entree heeft allemaal vunisbakken voor de deur wat niet prettig is en de gedeelde gang is viezig. Ook ligt het appartement beneden, dus je moet via een trap de kelder in om in het appartement te komen wat wij niet zo leuk vonden. Eenmaal benden is het wel aardig. Ook ver lopen van de metro.

• Christian (7/5): Nice place, but owners need to solve the mold situation. - The place was very nice with a cute little garden patio. However, there was a strong smell of mold from the kitchen especially from under the sink. The bathroom also had a slight smell of mold. The building looks quite rundown from the outside and so does the main entrance. The area is ok with transport nearby. Unfortunately there were no restaurants nearby nor nice supermarkets. The place was clean and the decor was nice. We loved the little backyard.

• Iolanda (10/5): Hidden Garden - L’appartamento è carinissimo. Arredato con gusto, cucina ben attrezzata, pulitissimo. Letto e cuscini comodi. Asciugamani morbidi e profumati in abbondanza (cosa non scontata). Macchinetta del caffè e capsule disponibili. Patio esterno grande e attrezzato anche per mangiare, molto bello. La cosa fantastica è che dal patio privato si accede a un giardino condominiale interno ricco di piante, alberi e panchine. Una meraviglia. L’appartamento è un basement che di solito io non prediligo, ma in questo caso non posso che parlarne bene anche perché nei giorni caldi, garantisce un ambiente sempre fresco. Ci sono delle scale interne da scendere, un po’ strette, ma per noi non sono state un problema pur avendo una valigia grande. Il centro di Londra si raggiunge facilmente anche in pullman. Ci sono diverse fermate vicino alla casa. Un quartiere molto bello e tranquillo non lontano da Kensington e Earls Court che merita sicuramente una visita. Consigliatissimo Se proprio proprio vogliamo trovare il pelo nell’uovo, suggerirei di tenere un po’ più pulito e in ordine l’ingresso esterno, dov’è la porta principale
• Christopher (9/5): An oasis in a busy city - What a lovely apartment, we really enjoyed our stay here. The back patio and garden were just wonderful! After a busy day in the city it was lovely to get to unwind in such a serene and beautiful place. The bed was comfortable and all our needs were met. The apartment was great. I’d just note that the hot water ran out when we took showers back-to-back, but once we learned this it was easy to adjust our schedules to not have that happen. And the bed was a bit smaller than expected, but that could the difference in bed size norms between the USA had UK.
