Guest Reviews
- Guest (10/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): Stunning, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. - The roof top was amazing, and the view- perfection.
- Josephine (9/5): Fabulous!!! - Great location, clean well presented Nothing
- Janine (8/5): Paradiso apartment at Kingscliff - Good location.
Air conditioning throughout.
Lovely modern apartment. Nicely furnished. No powerpoints in the well appointed kitchen. Only one powerpoint used for the WiFi and coffee machine. Could not use the jug or toaster unless you plugged them into a powerboard in a bedroom!
It would be honest to inform people of a flight of steps to have to carry luggage up once you leave the lift. Someone may have difficulty doing this, even if it was only a small flight of steps.
Quilts on the beds were yellowed on the edges.
No check in with a reception as the apartment is privately owned. Upon arrival you must find a park out on the street and go inside to use a code to find keys/lob to access car park and then repeat this when departing.
- Annette (9/5): A great place to relax and unwind… very close to the beach! - Very spacious and great location. Beautiful rooftop living area but no shade so it was a bit hot to use during the day. Furnished well for a group…plenty of options to relax.
- Olga (10/5): Wonderful place to stay in Kingscliff - It is a beautifully appointed apartment with a holiday in mind.
All you wish for a holiday is at your disposal - spacious apartment, excellent well equipped kitchen and appliances (even a coffee machine - my personal favourite!), rooftop spa and uninterrupted ocean views! Just get a book to read and settle on the balcony enjoying the views. Regardless of the weather, the stay at this place is enjoyable.
I would definitely come back to this place again!
- Karla (10/5): Stunning views, extremely lovely owners all with an exceptional apartment - Extremely easy to find Nothing!
- Hannah (10/5): Amazing place - Such a lovely apartment to spend the holidays with my family. The rooftop and location were amazing ! The third bedroom is quite bright as per reviews, but was fine for us. However if people couldn’t sleep with light.
- Simon (10/5): -
- Amy (9/5): Stunning rooftop patio with views -
- Julie (10/5): - Deb was a fantastic host! The apartment was amazing, and we had the best relaxing time . Our hosts thought of everything. The decor and functionality of the apartment were fabulous. We loved everything about apartment 334.
- Kevin (10/5): Great place to stay. Definitely recommend. - Everything was great. So many thoughtful touches too enhance the stay. LOVED the record player. Lots of space for both time together and apart.
Central location too.
- Ursula (9/5): - Clean, well equipped and comfortable The third bedroom has frosted glass doors in place of two of the walls. The sunrise in Summer is before 5 am and so this room is extremely light very early. Some blockout blinds would have been welcome.
- Paul (7/5): Had a great time in Kingscliff. Recommended this apartment. - Really close to beach and shops. Wonderful view. Even got sightings of whales. Comfortable beds. Nice size apartment. Good spa. Could have done with a few more caffeine coffee pods. One or two small long life milks. Blinds in living room area so that people using 3rd bedroom doesn't get woken up by the sunrise blasting into their room which has folding doors from lounge area. Maybe put in add that their is only one parking spot for apartment.
- Nai An (10/5): Coastal gem with view - Superb location with ocean view. Close to shops and eateries. Best for a relaxing holiday. Nothing
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Location and amenities My payment was processed overseas resulting in an international transaction fee on my credit card. I wasn't warned this would happen and booking an apartment in Australia, from Australia, I didn't expect to be charged this fee. When I complained through booking.com I was advised that I would receive a refund of the fee ($36) but this never happened. Be careful when booking this property through booking.com - you may be charged fees that you don't expect.
- Narelle (10/5): Exceptional - The unit had everything the only thing missing was some milk for our coffee
- Clare (10/5): Super apartment in a great location with a vinyl and CD collection to entertain through rainy weather and roof top terra - Well equipped in a great location with views across to Fingal Heads. The vinyl collection kept us entertained indoors during the incessant rain. Roof top spa was greatly enjoyed
- Fabi_ola (8/5): Beautiful and comfortable apartment & excellent location. - We loved everything inside the apartment, the views, the spaciousness, the natural light, the deco and furniture, and the hot spa located on the top terrace.
It is very well equipped with anything you need for your home away from home.
The location is excellent, it is just a short walk to the beach, and all the shops and restaurants are on the same street. The building where it is located is a bit old and the facilities of Paradiso Resort are poor compared to the quality of the apartment but it didn't stop us from having a great time, especially my daughter who loves pools.
The top terrace of the property is also beautifully set up with couches, lounges and a table for meals which makes it very appealing. However, the lack of shade made it uncomfortable to enjoy during the hot sunny days and a missed opportunity to enhance our experience.
What frustrated me the most was the presence of a large umbrella that was intended for use, yet it was locked up for private use only. This suggests that the property owners are aware of the need for shade but still choose not to make it available to guests. The letters explaining its unavailability due to insurance and liability issues felt short and contradictory, especially when we are paying high rates and such a lovely space is left underutilised.
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leonie (10/5): Spacious apartment/great location/fabulous views! - Fabulous apartment, so well stocked/resourced!
Our family had a wonderful few days.
Deb was very efficient when replying to any queries. I would fully recommend the apartment and am looking forward to booking again! Nothing!!
- Catherine (10/5): Fabulous stay - Perfect location near the beach, shops and restaurants. Enjoyed the little touches that made the stay really comfortable, such as books and core cooking supplies. The spa is heavenly! Nil
- Monique (10/5): A fabulous unit with plenty of space and great views. - Great location and plenty of room Nothing to note
- Vicki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jack (9/5): Superb -
- Oliver (10/5): Fantastic apartment in a great location! - The property was clean and tidy and in a great location. The beach view was amazing and all the amenities were great N/a
- Mikalah (10/5): Relaxing break perfect location - Rooftop spa was great and the choice of many lounging areas. No milk provided
- Belinda (10/5): The kids, “Can we please come here every year?” - The property was better than the photos indicated. There was so much space to relax, it was beautifully decorated and it was so well equipped. The view was spectacular.
- Ian (6/5): The position is nice and for a fairer out of school holiday rate of <$350 a night, it would be a nice place to stay. - View, location, spa, the decor and kitchen utensils. For the amount we paid, we were expecting a 5 star property experience. The property is well appointed with nice furniture and decor. However, a family member paid half what we paid for the exact same beach villa three along, but to be fair they booked a lot earlier than we did.
It was the little things that could be easily sorted, such as curtains in the bedrooms. The outdoor lights beam in and we couldn’t sleep. For the price and position It would be nice to have a king size bed in the main room. There is only two split air conditioners, which are old and mouldy. One unit is expected to cool two bedrooms, kitchen and living room. The microwave is impossible to work out and outdated.
The other issues are to do with the building. It is really showing signs of deterioration, with heavy rust on the roof rafters and timber rot. There are cockroaches thru out the building. It is definitely time for the owners to show the building some love and open the sinking fund up for much overdue repairs.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely everything, the owner was so easy to deal with and was even kind enough to get balloons and champagne for one of our parties 70 th birthday
