Guest Reviews
- Kaylah (7/5): - Bus stop right down the road if you're travelling without a car, one of their smaller places but it still comes equipped with a self sufficient kitchen, a washing machine and even a bbq!
Clean place, easy to keep tidy and a pizza shop, mini grocer and laundromat down the road! Honestly genuinely liked the place!
- Tracey (10/5): - Nice quiet location with a nice soft bed. Full size fridge and cooking facilities were appreciated. Meticulously clean. A really nicely presented little unit.
- Elizabeth (8/5): -
- Mary (8/5): House was in a great spot, and spotlessly clean -
- Gwendoline (7/5): Clean and comfortable. But would prefer a place with fly screens where I can get fresh air - Beautiful cake was left for my husband birthday and a lovely card.
Large TV and comfy couch. Breakfast could have been better. Only 2 eggs and no hotplates only a large electric frypan. Only 1 small bread roll. Hardly any salt left.
No fly screens so couldn't open any doors or windows for fresh air.
- colin (6/5): Good but coukd be better - Cute Some items need repair or updating
Said it included breakfast slightly disappointing
- Bron (3/5): - Felt the place was to controlling which made it uncomfortable
Cameras into the yard very unsettling
Way over priced
- Michael (8/5): A great spot to stay, quiet but close enough to access Geelong and surrounds - We toasted the bread roll/foccacia for breakfast and would have liked another for the second morning.
The coffee pods supplied were very good.
We attended a function in Fyansford so location was great and also easy to get into Geelong.
Chris was prompt contacting me when I had any qureies. We hadn't stayed in pet friendly accommodation before and there was an odour of dog on the couch coverings.
Not really strong but noticeable for us so I folded the rugs and all was good.
- James (10/5): -
- Dean (8/5): Would stay again. - Convenience, good local shops. Near Spirit of Tasmania. Good comms. Shower slightly difficult to get in and out.

- Michelle (10/5): - Great communication, all the perfect touches, nicely decorated, very private, warm and clean. Secure off street parking. The perfect resting spot for myself and my little pooch after a long drive from QLd. A very short drive to the dog beach which was great prior to catching the Spirit of Tasmania. There is even a handy convenience store and takeaway around the corner. Thank you!
- Bruce (8/5): Very pleasant. - Only an overnight stay, unable to really comment on location. It was nice to be able to make our own breakfast, although a a hotplate would have been helpful to cook the eggs. See above.
- Clem (8/5): GREAT - IT WAS GOOD NOTHING
- Julie (8/5): A deluge at the end of a difficult day. - The little extras. Like eggs for breakfast. A chocolate to go to bed with. A tasty biscuit on arrival. And it was spotless. Perfect thank you. Nothing
- Cathie (10/5): Quite a find in a perfect location. - Great location for anyone travelling on the Spirit of Tasmania. Easy access, great directions from host. Easy check in out. Comfy bed, clean and quiet, quaint studio apartment. Supplied continental brekky. Great shower etc. Great air con. Lovely courtyard with fairy lights. Just a beautiful comfortable place to stay. Host had excellent communication. Highly recommend ! 🤩😁
- Suzy (9/5): Comfortable one night stay - The decor was nice and there was a yard for our dog to run around in. The owner was easy to chat to via text and instructions for key box were clearly explained.
Secure parking. At times the neighbours sounded very close. But overall the place was quiet and peaceful.
- Jenny (9/5): Beautiful tiny house in great location - Beautiful little tiny home in a great location for getting the Spirit of Tasmania.
Shops within walking distance with everything you need for a few days stay. Nothing
- Cook (7/5): Comfortable dog-friendly bed and breakfast - It's a sweet little abode which me and my dog enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable and the whole place is well-appointed and thoughtfully designed. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay: a toaster, kettle and breakfast provisions of eggs, bread, jam and margarine, and milk, as well as a lttle outdoor courtyard. It has cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment if you want to cook for yourself. If you don't feel like cooking there is a pizza place and fish and chip shop, plus a small supermarket, a short walk away. It also has air-conditioning/heating in a split system. The location is quite quiet, and the CBD of Geelong and waterfront is about a 15 minute drive away. There are no insect screens on the windows or doors and no other ventilation, so you need to open a window for fresh air, and this can let in mosquitoes and flies. (Fly spray is provided, which was welcome). The house is at the back of another tenanted house, and the internet was unstable when I was there. The driveway is narrow so this may be an issue for bigger cars or people. Note too that it is not a Tiny House on Wheels (THOW), but a small converted building.
- Denise (8/5): Very good - Cosy, quiet and comfortable Parking behind the gate was very tight with a Ford Ranger.
- Sally (9/5): Great facilities and furnishings - Really well set up. It had everything we needed and was really well furnished. Breakfast supplies were included which was a nice touch. Some people in a neighbouring property were talking outside until the early hours of the morning which interrupted our sleep. Given that we were only staying there to avoid a very early drive from Melbourne for a regatta, it was a shame.
- Jennifer (10/5): Very pleasing and comfortable - This little cottage was beautiful. Extremely clean and well kept. All facilities easy to access. Easy entry procedures. Host is such a lovely person and very helpful. Great for pets as well, with a nice little garden. Nothing
- Courtney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phillip (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donna (8/5): Nice short stay - The size of the studio . Good kitchenette, bathroom, and a comfortable bed. Also being pet friendly. The TV didn't work well at all. Luckily, I had Netflix to watch.. Even then, the Internet kept on disconnecting. Very frustrating. Found that there were lots of mosquitoes this time of year too. You couldn't open the doors or windows overnight for fresh air . As there were NO fly screens.
- Dario (10/5): Great stay strongly advise it - Place was clean private and exactly as described, check in was seamless, cozy comfortable studio, short drive to the you yangs and even shorter one to the centre of Geelong, enclosed car port and fully fenced outdoor area, pet friendly.
Very convenient 👌 Nothing that we didn't like I mean the tv could be bigger but was very nice to find a smart tv hooked to streaming platform.
