• Adam (1/5): Uncomfortable night's stay in an insect infested, broken house. - The City Centre was, just, walking distance to the town. Our first impressions of the property were okay. It smelt as if the property had been cleaned and towels and bedding were set up. The picture on the wall was nice as was Magdeburg. The beds were okay. This was not a cheap property to stay in. We choose it as it was highly rated. I think on the face of it, it may seem alright but at closer inspection it was very bad. Here what was wrong. 1. My family left the property full of bites. I suspect it was bed bugs as my kids slept in the room with only the windows tilted rather than open. There were fruit flies all over the house. See pictures. There was a dead moth stuck on the wall on the room we stayed. 2. Very hot ( a fan was left there and it's probably not the fault of the property but still contributed to the bad stay). 3. Very noisy. We had the windows open due to the heat and it stayed noisy until very late. 4. Broken fittings- curtains, handles, blinds. 5. Dirty freezer, dirty bathroom (black mould). We also had to plug in the modem when we arrived. That was just a small annoyance especially considering the other factors. Very small TV. I think, as this has been tolerated in the past, the owners think it is acceptable to rent out a property in this condition. We felt fortunate that we were heading home the next day as we showered as soon as we got home and threw everything into the washing machine at risk of contamination. Not acceptable. Avoid.

• Renata (10/5): I could recommend the place - That flat's location is really very convenient. The flat was very, very warm, spacious, kitchen equipped with everything you need - plenty of utensils, pots, pans, etc. Washing machine, TVs, etc. - everything in good order and working. Very quite neighborhood. Bakery round the corner, a huge Kaufland few minutes away, various street food places in the vicinity. A lot of free parking spaces around, but it was not easy to find a place for your car later in the evenings.
