• Julian (9/5): Lovely hosts and cozy acommodation as a good starting point for day trips - The exceptionally friendly hosts welcomed us in the middle of the night for the check-in. The room was completely satisfactory and any requests were responded to immediately. On top of that, there were fresh mandarins and good-smelling laundry for our departure. An absolute recommendation! Getting to the residential area is a bit of an adventure, especially at night, due to the potholes, some ruins and lack of lighting. But don't let that put you off!

• Minerva (10/5): Exceptional - This place is now my home in Albania. Miranda and her husband treated me like family and made me feel at home. It's a nice, large studio, perfectly clean with everything one could possibly need. Although I only had time to stay for a few days, it's the perfect place for working remotely. It's minutes away from a beautiful beach. The internet was excellent. But again, the best thing is the owners. They helped me arrange a bus trip to my next destination and even got up at 5 o'clock in the morning to take me to the bus station to make sure that I was ok. Albanian hospitality at its best! Nothing...just that I couldn't stay any longer

• Busby (7/5): Good - Lovely en-suite room in shared lodging. The bed was very comfy, everything was spotlessly clean, and the shower was very nice. The room is a short walk away from the most stunning beach and it is very easy to catch a bus to old town. The hosts were very accommodating and went above and beyond to help us catch the bus. The listing is rather misleading as it lists the property as an “entire one bedroom apartment”. The private bathroom and fridge was lovely, however all the other facilities are shared with other guests. Although the room was good value, we found other private apartments in the area listed cheaper, and if we had known we would have booked them instead. We feel bad to mention this in the review but feel other guests should be aware before booking.

• Ljiljana (9/5): Not what I ecpected of so much praised Vlore, disappointed by beaches and garbage everywhere - Hosts, easy communicaton with Mira who is an English teacher and her husbands speak Italian, their effort to help me in all possible ways, and general helpfulness of all people I've met. Beach is very near and has a whole pine forest for shade neighbourhood, swampy anf full of mosquitos so it was not possible to sit out in the evening and get together. Bad transport to the city center & other beaches -it's good only for people with cars or hikers
• Arpan (10/5): Great place to stay in Vlore! - Very spacious and clean apartment with a nice welcoming host. Good comfortable beds and the property is on the ground floor which makes it quite comfortable too. Very peaceful and quite neighbourhood and would be a great stay for both short term and long term. The location is little farther from the city center so it would be better if you have your own private car otherwise it would be a little hard to move around.
