Guest Reviews
- Eloisa (9/5): -
- Francisco Javier (10/5): - Excelente relación calidad-precio
- Gergő Péter (8/5): Római hosszú hétvégére tökéletes - Tágas, jól felszerelt lakás. A tisztasággal nem volt probléma. Az ágyak kényelmesek voltak. A lokáció megfelelő volt. Közvetlen mellette egy Penny is volt. Bejelentkezés macerás, fényképes igazolványok feltöltése, nagyon sok adat bekérése. A klímákat nem tudtuk beállítani.
- Lorena (9/5): -
- mauricio (10/5): -
- Takács (8/5): - Huge beautiful apartment.
- Anna (10/5): - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko metra Manxoni, blisko sklepy. Duze pokoje , które miały swoje łazienki,.
- Cindy (10/5): Very nice accommodations.the hostess very responsive. - The four bedrooms with four bathrooms was great for our group of eight adults.
- Angela (10/5): Excellent option - It was conveniently located near convenience stores, great restaurants and friendly neighborhood.
Spacious rooms to fit a family of 10.
Free WiFi/hot water/ AC/ laundry machine
Owner went above and beyond to return a lost a sentimental child blanket (see photo) for one of our kids. We felt so bad to have inconvenienced him as he personally went out of his way to deliver it to us.
- Darshan (1/5): Unpleasant experience - 4 bedroom and 4 bathroom *Most Disappointing Stay in Italy – A Letdown at the End of an Amazing Trip*
Of all the places we stayed during our time in Italy, this was by far the most disappointing — made worse by the fact that it was our final stop before heading home.
While the location is convenient — close to the Colosseum but away from the tourist-heavy chaos — and the apartment layout with 4 bedrooms and 4 attached bathrooms seemed perfect for our large group, the reality was a different story.
From the moment we checked in, we were met with a long list of issues:
Unpleasant, rancid smells throughout the apartment coming from bathrooms,
Showers with low pressure, trickling water, or awkward low heights,
Toilet flushes not working properly, toilet seat are not fixed properly
Bathrooms prone to flooding,
No clear instructions for using the laundry,
Lack of cleanliness,
Lack of clean, poor-quality bedding and worn-out fixtures,
And perhaps most frustrating of all, none of the bedroom or bathroom door locks worked, offering zero privacy, even within the group.
The apartment appears acceptable at first glance, but a closer look reveals that many things are either broken, poorly maintained, or falling apart. The cleaner was still present at check-in but didn’t inform us of any of these issues until we began pointing them out ourselves. While a plumber was sent to fix one of the toilet flushes, it became clear that there were many more hidden issues that had been ignored.
We also experienced a power tripping incident, which we had to troubleshoot ourselves over the phone with the host.
The most troubling incident came toward the end of our stay. The host contacted us saying they needed to drop something off. As we were out, we asked them to either come after we returned or leave the items outside. Despite this, the host entered the apartment unannounced, while my elderly mother, who was unwell, had returned early to rest.
- Mary (10/5): Very nice property with handy amenities! - The property was perfect for our family of nine with a great location for public transportation. We enjoyed the kitchen for coffee and the balcony for cool evenings. The market downstairs was handy!
- Puyal (6/5): Pleasant - Big and spacious , great communication with the host, convenient location Parts of the kitchen were dirty, too noisy, corridor light always switched on without option to switch off
- Hhm (7/5): Good - Location and apartment layout. Finding 4 rooms with dedicated bathrooms for each is a treasure for travelling big families or friends. Windows are totally outdated. You can hear and feel everything from outside. This should have been mentioned somehow in the property description 🙄
The apartment was not properly cleaned.. sticky desk, you get very dirty socks when you walk in the apartment. We cleaned ourselves the floor with the half broken vacuum cleaner, but sticky desk was not possible to clean at all l.
The water in the showers runs not fast enough to take a quick shower.
After reporting these, we were promised resolution same day, but finally nobody came to help. However, the host is happy, and thanks for reporting the issues so he can fix them for the next victims. But we are definitely not booking again.
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Sound of traffic late in the evening
- Deirdre (7/5): Good - Apartment was clean, suited our family group of 4 couples.
Our host kindly allowed us to leave our bags after Check-out time, until our booked transfer collected us at address. We hugely appreciated this as gave us extra sightseeing time, without luggage in tow.
- Mahendra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stacey (8/5): Nice larger unit in Rome - The 4 rooms with 4 private bathrooms The tea kettle had something old yucky on the bottom and could not use it. The washer drained into the deck because if lunt backup in drain we ciuld not get to in order to clear, so balcony could not be used. Checkin was a bit difficult and direction of apartment number and access to the building by having g a person to greet us would have been nice.
- Anna (9/5): Great flat for families and friends 20 minutes walk from the Colosseum - This flat was just great, each bedroom was special, very beautiful and originally decorated. There was everything needed in the kitchen and in the terrace. Beds where so comfortable, big rooms and common areas. I recommended 100% if you visit Rome in a big group. 20 minutes away from the Colosseum.
- Michelle (10/5): It was a great place for our trip and it was awesome - It had a lot of rooms and bathrooms Nothing. It was great.
- Arun (8/5): Very good - Clean, Comfortable.
AC in all rooms.
- William (9/5): Overall a great place to stay…highly recommend! - Loved the location and the A/C in all bedrooms. Lots of room for a large family or lots of friends. Really liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Very nice touch! In one room the A/C didn’t cool well, but the other rooms compensated for it. Have to be mindful of all the A/Cs running and using the kettle or washing machine or even a hair dryer. Easy to trip the house breaker.
- Melcher (9/5): Superb -
- Rohan (9/5): Better than expected! Would definitely recommend and come again! - Swift responses from the host, great location and super cozy apartment with a fully functional and stocked kitchen!
The host was easily accessible via WhatsApp and phone calls. The rooms were bigger than it seems in the pictures :) The bathroom doors did not have functional locks, so using the washrooms was a bit weird, as anyone could walk in. We travelled as a large group of friends, so a lot of anxiety while using the washrooms XD.
We weren't aware of any neighbor sharing a wall with us. They complained with even a low level of noise.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Oliver (10/5): Excellent apartment! - Spacious apartment, 4 bedrooms with separate bathrooms, clean, well equipped, great location, one minute walk to metro station from where you can go to central station and then to airport, Vatican city and to all main attractions.
Great communication, we arrived around 21:45, and we entered the apartment hustle free, with simple steps provided by the owner.
- Artan (8/5): Very good -
- Grzegorz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherston (8/5): Very good - Lots of big rooms each with their own shower, toilet.
Good location - right near a Metro station and 25min walk into most sight seeing places Kitchen/common area very small - didn’t allow the whole group to mingle together comfortably but that wasn’t a big deal
- Dr. (9/5): Superb -
- Kalem (9/5): Nice apartment with comfortable rooms, and two balconies, with a family-oriented kitchen. - The host was great, very proactive on communication and responsiveness. The two balconies were nice, and the kitchen set up was great for our group to spend time together. Air conditioning worked great in all the rooms, it was a very nice unit. The bedroom with the balcony had the worst beds (very squeaky), the other beds were great. The main breaker would trip if an appliance with a heating element (iron, toaster, etc.) was used, while the ACs were running.
- Fabrizio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benito (10/5): Amazing place to stay in Rome - Amazing place, big apartment with 4 bedrooms plus each bedroom with own bathroom. Host super friendly and supportive.
- Linda (10/5): fresh and fragrant home - air conditioning in all four rooms. fantastic apartment, close to metro and major attractions
