• Ronchi (3/5): Sicuramente tornerò in Giappone, ma certamente non in questo alloggio - La stanza è abbastanza spaziosa e la vista dal terrazzo è molto bella. Si trova abbastanza vicino ad una stazione ferroviaria e a pochi minuti a piedi da Shinjiku La pulizia del bagno era terribile, capelli nella vasca e peli negli asciugamani, veramente orribile, soprattutto per gli standard del Giappone. Il wifi non funzionava, ho scritto tutti i giorni al proprietario, affinchè sistemasse la situazione, continuava a rispondermi dicendo che qualcuno sarebbe venuto a sistemare, ma ovviamente non si è mai presentato nessuno. Abbiamo dovuto acquistare nuovi dati cellulari a causa di questo. Avrebbe potuto dire: "mi spiace ma non possiamo sistemare", e avrei sicuramente preferito, invece facendo così mi sono stentito preso in giro. (ho scritto anche all'assistenza di Booking, ma non hanno fatto nulla) Inoltre se volete dormire tranquilli consiglio altre zone, la stanza non era insonorizzata e il continuo passare di auto, ambulanze e polizia non aiutano il sonno. Non scrivo quasi mai recensioni, soprattutto se negative, ma stavolta mi ho dovuto, soprattutto perchè mi sono sentito preso in giro per la questione del wifi.

• Emma (5/5): It was ok. - The instructions to enter the building were very clear and easy to follow. And the building was kept very clean. It was very Basic. Not in the nicest part of Shinjuku and didn’t have a futon as advertised so my two teenage kids were not happy to share a bed. Definitely have stayed in much nicer and better equipped places for less.

• Bin (6/5): Very good location but the cookwares not clean enough - Location is great. 10-min walking distance to Shinjuku. The building sits in a relatively quiet area. The room is split into 2 sections with screen. The AEON supermarket is very helpful. By comparison with hotels, the check-in and the check-out policy (10am) lacks flexibility. The hotel in Kamakura and the one at Haneda both offer check-out time at 11 am. And we could check in at 2pm or 3pm. Which seems to be more convenient to us. The kitchen wares are not clean enough. We had tangible concerns. Plus we didn’t find coffee machine at the room.

• Carolina (5/5): It was passable for the money we spent - Location The smells coming from the bathroom. It seems it was a smoke allowed appartment that they tried to cover the smell with air refreshing. It was causing me headaches. Bed sheets and towels were cheap and low quality fabric. We found hair in the pillows. Laundry washer was also very dirty inside.
• Madeleine (9/5): - We loved the central location and the proximity to the metro stations. We were also really reassured by the regular communication of the apartment owner. She was very responsive and helpful. We liked everything about it. The only suggestion I have is that some non-Japanese speakers may be a bit stumped that there aren't any TV channels in English. However that is no big deal because we were out all the time until we wanted to sleep.

• SarsD (9/5): - The location is awesome and convenient - close to two stations. Close to convenient stores too. The apartment is very small however perfect for 4 people. The pillows were quite thin and small - perhaps add more pillows or thicker ones for comfort. The towels were also very thin.

• Joan (8/5): Galicia Shinjuku North B&B - About 20 min walk to Shinjuku, easy enough access to train. Easy enough to get key and check in, place had decent space, owner was responsive, good amenities to use to eat if need be. Fridge and microwave. May need to use stairs to gain initial access, but can exit via main door on bottom floor; bed was rather firm (we prefer more padding).

• Ran Sharvit (5/5): Convenient location, suitable for four people, but missing basics - The location is Convenient — very close to the train station. The apartment is advertised as suitable for five people, but in reality, it has only two double beds and a cover meant to be placed on a futon—without the futon itself. It feels like sleeping on a carpet, so if you’re more than four people, I’d recommend avoiding this place. There’s also a lack of towels: no bath mat, no face towels, and no kitchen towels. As for equipment, the oven and stove didn’t work, and there was no dish-drying rack. One of the rooms has no curtain, which means you’ll be woken up early by the sunlight. It’s disappointing that these issues keep recurring and are being ignored, especially since the owner could easily fix them with minimal effort.

Spacious apartment with comfortable beds an - Location is excellent, beds are comfortable and apartment has suffisent space for 4. Bathroom with shower and tub are a great value. Everything was excellent. For improvement, few hooks in the bathroom and some face towels would be good. Bathtub and microwave instructions in English would be an add on

The room was generally clean, the amenities were as described, - The location is excellent — very close to the train station and many shops, which made it super convenient for getting around and finding food. One issue with the room: there was a small window without a curtain, which made it difficult to feel completely private, especially at night. However, it can be noisy. There were ambulances passing by late at night, and during the day there was construction nearby, which made it a bit hard to relax or nap.

• Ahmed (7/5): It's more like a studio - Beautiful view, clean, and had everything we needed. We thought it's a 2 room apartment, but it's actually a studio with sliding doors that make one room. The other bed is in the kitchen. So there wasn't privacy between the 2 rooms.
• Kristi (10/5): Very nice place to stay! - Nice building, very cool neighborhood, clean and comfortable place! We found so many cool small izakayas around and it was so close to train and walkable to so many places - our favorite location in Tokyo. Apartment is very nice. Toilet and bathroom are great. There was a kitchen, but we only used then fridge, because who goes to Japan and cooks themselves (: There are two big beds and you can use walls to great them as separate rooms or if traveling with mates, just hang together. The view is very cool also! Communication was easy. Anyways, great place and we would stay again! Thanks! Can’t think of anything…

• Eudora (9/5): Great value apartment in a great location to tour Tokyo! - Great property located very close to 2 train stations (Okobo and Shin-Okobo). Lots of restaurants around. Decent-sized apartment and I love the bathroom! Perhaps a floor mat could be provided for bathroom sink area and dish towels and a dish rack for drying the kitchen sink area and dishes after use.
• Michael (9/5): Very good but needs a little care with the cleaning - Close to transport Not so clean. Very dusty and I had to clean air conditioner filters and washing machine filters. The vacuumed was full of dirt.
• Sean (7/5): Good options - The place was clean (apartment) and safe, and there were lots of restaurants to choose. Yamamoto courier just opposite apartment. PS if you using the courier ask the staff to call centre for english translation. A bit noisy late night of emergency vehicle sirens i suppose the area are local residents. The place suited 3 ppl max (my opinions).
• Wahetzatul (8/5): The place and area very near to shinjuku town - Everything was good accept for the utensil pots and pan where the pots are rusty only can be used 1. Please change the pots and only cost you very little to change
• Ahmed (9/5): Superb - Great location with a great view of the city. One of the rooms closes off, but the other one does not. Overall a good value for a family or couple traveling together.
• Le (10/5): The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Full of facilities and the owner is quick at responses. - It's easy to find the accommodation. It has a great view from the room and there are a lot of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. I love the decoration and the interior inside the house. Nothing ^^ Everything is perfect ^^ If I have a chance to re-visit Tokyo, this place must be on the list of accommodation.

• Arvin (10/5): Spacious, comfortable, and well-located, this property was clean, quiet, and close to the station with a nice view of To - The property was spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of five. The location was excellent—just a 5-minute walk to the nearest station and 15 minutes to Shinjuku station. Check-in was easy and smooth, and the property was clean and well-maintained, and the photos matched perfectly :) The WiFi was reliable, and there were plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Despite being close to everything, it was in a quiet area, which made for a peaceful stay. We also enjoyed a nice view, with a clear sight of Tokyo Skytree. They kindly allowed us to keep our luggage in the room after check-out, which was a great convenience. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend it! 😊 There wasn’t much we didn’t like! It would have been helpful to have English instructions for the appliances and switches, just to make things a bit easier, and a water glass for drinking would have been a nice touch. But overall, these were minor details in an otherwise fantastic stay!

Lot many marts like family mart and 7/11 around at few min walk. Beautiful view from balcony as apartment is on 12th floor. Apartment is equipped with all kitchen accessories and toiletries. This apartment has two beds with Woden patrician only. But perfect for one family. Owner should guide about the opening of main building door. Key has to apply at main entrance door of building and then to apartment door at 12th floor.

Even though it’s in a busy location - it’s very quiet and there are fabulous views of Tokyo. The station is literally a three min walk and plenty of supermarkets and food choices. I felt like more instructions could have been provided re : rubbish etc. A little house manual would have been nice but not a major issue.

• Laszlo (8/5): More like a 20 minute walk, but a nice place close to train station - Lovely little place, great views, secure building. Interior is very nice, good air conditioning. Great bathroom and nicely equipped kitchen. The washing machine was great, and you can set the bathroom to a high temperature to dry the clothes overnight. Clean and modern. Free umbrellas are included! Nice residential area with lots of restaurants and cafes, 4 minutes walk to the city train station. The tap water is fine and drinkable, but there is a vending machine at the building entrance for bottled water, and there are convenience stores nearby. There is also a supermarket and multiple fruit/vegetable vendors nearby. The area feels safe, always lots of people on the streets up to midnight. We didn't have a curtain on the bedroom window, and the sun woke us up every morning, shining straight through the window. Sunrise is around 5 am in Tokyo. I contacted the owner multiple ways, Booking message, email, eventually a phone call. His English is very limited so he didn't understand what I was asking for, he asked me to email, which I did but I only got an automated response. The bed was kinda hard and I think it's smaller than queen size, but livable. There are ambulances and fire trucks going past the building a lot with sirens blaring, including at night. Safe neighborhood, not sure why they keep running past. Shinjuku is more like a 20 minute walk from here, but the train station is only 4 minutes away.

It was not a two bedroom apartment. It was two beds in one big room with a petition to divide them. The towels were old and shabby and only 5 for 4 people There was no floor mat in the bathroom so immediately one of the towels became a floor mat There were no hand towels. There were no towels in the kitchen and no dish rack to put dishes on after you had wash them

• Akira (9/5): Superb - Full equipment, clean rooms, easy to go to Shinjuku(5mins to go to Okubo sta. on foot and you can also go to Shinjuku on foot. It takes just 10mins), great view, the size of the rooms are good enough for 5 people(2 adults and 3 kids/ 11, 8 and 6 years old) Nothing specifically. But if you will cook in the kitchen, I recommend you to bring kitchenware, although it is quite unusual that you need to cook there because there are many nice restaurants near there!(We had to cook because of my son's celiac disease.)
• Rene (8/5): Very good - 1. Clean 2. Close to train station 1. The description on booking.com was not accurate. Per booking.com, it has 2 bedrooms (1st: 1 full bed & 2nd: 1 full bed + 1 futon bed). But what we had was a studio type with a divider. Also, we didn’t have a futon bed. We had a futon mattress which you can use to sleep on the floor. The thing is, there was no floor space to setup the futon mattress unless you push the dining table and chairs on the corner. I just wish that whoever wrote the description on booking.com was more straightforward. 2. Early check out (10AM). I don’t think the cleaning lady would need a long time to clean or prepare the property for the next guests, which checks-in at 4PM.
• Huang (9/5): Really nice cozy place. Close to a train station. Would stay again - 12th floor apartment, view is gorgeous. Room is spacious, perfect for 2 couples (4 people). Host was responsive and welcoming. The air was a little dusty.

• Charles (10/5): Lovely authentic apartment, good for our family. - Great to stay in a normal Tokyo apartment with all amenities (washing machine, nice bathtub, kitchen). As a family, it was great to be able to relax together, do washing etc and have a place to decompress in between activities. The local area (Ōkubo and Shin-Okubo stations) are busy little centres so theres a lot of convenience stores, supermarkets, pharmacies etc around. You can easily walk to Shinjuku (more like 20 minutes to the shopping areas) or take the train. The view from this apartment is really nice, you can see out to Tokyo SkyTree clearly. Nothing, great place to stay.

• Tuyen (7/5): Acceptable but wouldn't recommend for bigger families/groups - The location was fantastic, close to shops, train station & an easy 15 minute walk to downtown Shinjuku. Apartment felt safe & secure with minimal noise at night. Host was very helpful & responsive. The place was a lot smaller than anticipated. Listed as 2 bedroom but realistically it was only one with the one bedroom partitioned off with privacy doors, whilst the other bed was in the living area, not closed off at all. If you value your privacy & personal space, not the place for you. Might be typical for Japan but listing should be taken with caution as I feel it wasn't accurate. For our family of five, it was passable but we were very restricted in movement as the already limited space was made even more smaller when large luggages were stored. The redeeming factor was the location, everything was accessible and it was a good thing we were out all day & returned at night to sleep & shower. Would have been great if host also supplied photos to check in properly as written instructions was a tad confusing but they were on standby to help with which was appreciated.
• Lady (10/5): It was very nice place and we will comeback! - The place is new, clean, near the the station, staff are accomodating. Should provide clear instructions in check in. They helps us directly when the key box was broken and not working.
