• Rae (6/5): Upon first impression, the property was awesome and looked like somewhere we’d love to stay again. However, it definitel - Lots of space in the lounge and dining areas, designated carpark, bolt on outside door for extra security, bathtub for kids, everything was clean and tidy, fridge size was excellent for a family, balcony was also a great size with enough seating for a family, having the pool close by was super convenient and a great addition to our stay. We requested a DVD player and were told the unit had one (there was even a drawer of DVDs in the tv unit), however the DVD player didn’t have the correct cords to connect to the tv. We borrowed a HDMI cable from reception but the on-screen picture showed as static once the DVD player was connected to the tv. Reception said we could purchase our own HDMI cable if we wanted, but offered no further solutions. So in the end we had to do without, which was disappointing. The ceiling fan in kids’ bedroom didn’t work (light in fan would turn on with switch, but remote wouldn’t connect to fan to change anything despite the remote display showing the fan was “on” or “off”). We spoke to reception and were told a maintenance person would come and look at it, but they wouldn’t give us a timeframe and no one ever showed up. So we once again had to make do without it. The oven didn’t work (fan would turn on but not heating element), shower in main bathroom worked but was faulty (potential split in shower hose, as lots of water was leaking before reaching shower head), there was a big tear in one of the couches and the leather was flaking (not ideal for having a toddler around who likes to put everything in their mouth), a few of the kitchen light bulbs need replacing (above counter). Property needs to be assessed for general maintenance, upkeep, and wear-and-tear.

Other than a text from the owner acknowledging my complaint about a br - Location, facilities, afternoon sun on deck, No main light or ceiling fan in master bedroom. Dirty glassware in kitchen cupboard. One Blind in master bedroom did not work ( pull cord was broken ) - I mentioned it to staff but no attempt was made to repair it during our 5 night stay. No drawers or surface to put anything in master bedroom - only had 1 cupboard in hall with hanging space. Main viewing window in master bedroom had a huge crack in it which had been glued up. No teatowell to dry dishes in kitchen. A dirty empty drawer in kitchen which had what looked like chocolate shards in it. Shower floor/ walls were covered in black mildew. It was not just a job that required re grouting it was a poor cleaning job done.

• Eleanor (8/5): Very good - Beautiful property! Had a washing machine and all the amenities. Close to barge. Aircon was nice and cold :) bath next to bed is beautiful. Wifi cut out constantly, was told it was due to black out (staff responded quickly when messaged) however wifi continues to lag and drop out before large lengths of times. Message before check in confirmed wifi does lag, however does not mentioned the cut outs (sometimes for several minutes/an hour - not due to black out). Roof top pool was closed.

• Edward (6/5): Good location but disappointed in the cleanest of the unit. - Good location - central to our needs for the weekend The unit was not that clean - dirty placemats on the table. Air-conditioner on verandah - VERY DIRTY. Ants and spiders behind doors and on benches.

Great location close to ferry, shops, restaurants and bus terminal. I would have liked the glasses and crockery a bit more organised as there were some random items and cupboards not tidy.

Excellent detailed information from host about arrival and checking in. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need. Nice views of the marina and hills beyond from the balcony. Four pools to choose from - I’m glad our apartment wasn’t right next to one, imagine it would be a bit annoying with noise etc. Nothing.
