• Tanya (8/5): Overall a great stay! - Location to where we needed to be was great and close to shopping and food. The view was overlooking a pond and walking trails which was a welcomed bonus. Outdoor seating fo coffee in the morning, lots of space and 2 bathrooms, lot of coffee and extra towels and bedding waa nice not to have to worry about picking many things up. The attentiveness of the coast was amazing, every question or concern waa answered immediately and ahe was very accommodating. Did not enjoy how dirty the hoise was and the strong smell of curry when we arrived. The roof , walls, door jams and appliances were all covered in dust, finger prints or dirt. The cleaners just nees to give the house a really good spring cleaning and then the house will be in great shape.

• Al (10/5): We had a great stay. - We are Family coming from Germany "We were truly impressed with our stay at this apartment. The hospitality of the host was exceptional, going above and beyond to provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. The free snacks, water, and coffee and tea capsules were a delightful touch, making our experience even more enjoyable. Everything was beyond our expectations. Honestly, this place deserves a higher rating than what is available. It's simply How will I convince the kids to leave the place today. They will definitely be disappointed. I recommend it to all who come to visit Calgary, especially families with children. They will feel at home and not in another place. Thanks for the efforts of the host I'm not exaggerating, but come and try it. Just the sounds of people walking upstairs. I don't know if it's like that in Canada because of the nature of the wooden houses. Every step is heard downstairs. This is no one's fault.

• Priyank (1/5): Responsive and helpful hosts, but place not exactly as advertised and inaccessible entrance! - The hosts were responsive The place has serious parking issues, took us 30 mins to find parking. One of the bedrooms has a toilet flush pipe running through the wall, concealed, but connected to the upper floor. You can literally hear loud flush/water flowing nosies. The noises kept continuing the whole two nights I was there. It was really annoying and made our stay miserable. The worst part is it's not even mentioned in the description - and of course, why would the host do that - no one will book the place if they know!
• Magdalen (9/5): Pretty home by the lake. - The home is nicely designed for a family. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, big pots plus a stash of coffee and tea choices. Veena was an angel. The view of the lake is a delight. Toothbrushes were provided and beyond our expectations. The pillow cases in the masters bedroom had a bit of body smell and so did the towels.

• Ali (9/5): Great place for the value. Nice, clean, and cozy! - Location was good and near the airport. Space was clean overall and cozy. Had a nice little lake view at the back. Host was responsive and helpful. Provided everything we needed and some free snacks which was nice! It got a little cold (in September) and the heater/fireplace wasn't that strong I felt. There would be noises sometimes from upstairs but not too disturbing. Parking was hard to get on driveway and often many cars parked on street as well but it wasn't that bad overall.

• Jeffrey (1/5): No locks and not comfortable staying - Note: this is a basement unit with no locks to upstairs. Property has a no way to know if the access from the upper main house is locked (they literally have a stairs that comes down to our unit and they could access property at any time). We suggest to put a lock on the property so guest can feel comfortable. There are about six cars parked on main house so we were not able to park when we arrived on property. Also there were neighbors on our patio when we arrived chatting and there is no separation between neighbors. We did not stay at property as a result and owners would not refund us even though we didn’t stay.

As a family from Southern India, we were surprised by all the kitchen utensils that were available, which helped us in easily cooking some homely meals. Power supply tripped a couple of times and I had to contact the host for that. She lives nearby and is available immediately though.

• Roya (8/5): Nice place near airport - It was good for families with kids. There were lots of refreshments and games. We could not use the stove because it was smelling like burnt oil and as soon as we turned it on we noticed smoke coming out of it.

My family was stuck in Calgary for two days after our flight was cancelled and needless to say we were a little distraught. The owners went above and beyond by providing snacks, board games, coffee and even tooth brushes. They were extremely accommodating with our late check in and were very quick to respond if we needed anything. The house was very clean and cozy and made my family feel right at home after a long day of travelling. They really turned a profoundly negative experience into something very positive and I’m very grateful to have stayed there. 10/10 would return and recommend to friends and family in the future. Highly recommend this place for an enjoyable stay. - The location was close to the airport and near a small pond which would be great for skating. The neighborhood was very peaceful and had a lot of stores nearby that would be great for tourists. The host was also very friendly and very helpful and the attention to even the smallest details made our stay so enjoyable. The parking was an issue, but this is only a minor complaint.

Easy booking and easy check in. The living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable and lights are needed down the side walkway of the house.

• Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional - The host was super hospitable with all candies, chocolates, goodies that my kids were excited to see first time on entering. They got thrilled to see the board games. It is a home away from and has all the facilities of a vacation home. Special Thanks to the fully stuffed coffee machine for a variety of coffee, tea and hot chocolates. Location is a beautiful view of a lake in front and can spend quality time.

All my emails were answered promptly, she met us when we arrived, gave us the front door code, showed us the property. For no additional cost she upgraded us to the bigger property, almost same location, next door. The house was absolutely great. Comfortable, clean, very spacious, every detail is thought out. Kitchen has everything one can think about. The view from the balcony on the lake is very nice. I travel a lot, but this house was probably the best place we stayed in. Totally recommend.

Veena and her husband were very gracious, really lovable. They left us a lot of food, coffee/tea and bathroom supplies were abundant. They’re the perfect hosts! Wi-Fi, I guess we picked the far end room so we didn’t have the best service.

We were received with snacks from the host which was a pleasant surprise! The host was very communicative, and also let us make an early check in. The place is a basement right in front of a lake which was great to have short walks at the end of the day. I wish we would have used the payment through booking.com - they gave us the option to e-transfer or pay by cash but I would love to pay through booking by credit card. I would be nice to have some instructions on how to lock the bathroom door (the one with the shower) cause we couldn't figure that out on the 2 days we stayed there.
