- Guest (10/5): Paradise in Port Douglas - Great Location, walking distance to the beach 3 mins away, great amenities, lovely space and pool entrance from the living area, very private area and just gorgeous rooms. Host very friendly and helpful, hopefully we can come back again!
- Monique (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (10/5): Amazing - Swim out pool was great and the room was more than enough for 4 people
- Bianca (10/5): Stunning!! - Best spot in the entire Amazing resort
- Matthew (8/5): Overall very enjoyable - Pool was fantastic Some of the fittings were loose, towel rack & toilet roll holder, just need a little attention or replacement.
- Jade1234 (10/5): Will definitely be back! - Everything! Perfect stay. Couldn’t have asked for more! Nothing
- Kaye (8/5): Great family holiday - Beautiful place. Pool Some problems with dishwasher
- Dawn (9/5): Superb - Loved the swim out pool and bar. Family friendly. The restaurant was not very welcoming to our family. Slow on service although there were jot many people in the resturant and over priced.
- Jennifer (6/5): Not quite a luxury stay - The swim out part of the appartment For the price we paid.......The appartment furnishings are dated and needs to be refreshed. There is rust on the chairs and the blinds and burn holes in the couch, along with stains and smelly fabrics.
Would be great if it had a coffee pod machine in the appartment, along with tissues and toilet spray and that all pre arrival requests were completed instead of needing to be followed up on arrival.
A welcome gift of either a bottle of wine /champagne and a box of chocolates would be a luxury touch on the kitchen counter upon arrival. Also its standard to have complimentary bottles of water for guests, this wasnt the case at this appartment.
An info brochure on how the local shuttles work, where you can hire bikes or scooters from would also be great, along with some recommendations on where to eat.
For what is advertised as a luxury stay....i would not say it was a luxury appartment. The hotel and the facilities were wonderful. The appartment needs some attention to bring it up to lux. The swim out function was the best part!
- Lawrence (5/5): just stayed in a bad unit. no. 160 - been before, stayed in unit 160. terrible unit. unit 160 is old and needs renovation.
- Elisha (9/5): Superb -
- Amareh (7/5): Good -
- Namonye (9/5): Superb -
- Nathan (5/5): Definitely wasn’t bad but hopefully this helps to get the owner onto rectifying the small issues - The swim out pool Could do with a make over, I would have expected this sort of room in Bali though unfortunately we are in Australia not Bali so standards should be a lot higher in my opinion for the price being changed.
New fans as they are very loud and out of balance, new down lights wouldn’t hurt for aesthetics as exisiting are very outdated and not sitting in ceiling flush, new paint to freshen the place up would be a must, and the A/C needs some serious attention as I makes the apartment smell wet with a lot of mould building up in the units, filters and ceiling cavities due to it not functioning correctly. If you’re used to the Bali style holiday and rooms and can look past the deterioration of above mentioned then this place is great for the kids due to the pool other then that it’s nothing luxurious at all (Bali villa style)
I’d suggest a small renovation be done to rectify the above or the price be lowered to justify it not being above 4 stars.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - great apartment!
- Grahame (7/5): Wonderful Complex bus shop around - Sea Temple always wonderful. It's a lovely apartment but for this kind of money we would expect a fully furnished apartment to have a few basics such as a nespresso coffee machine (there was a basic coffee plunger but not even a welcome pack of coffee to use), nor even a bottle of oil or salt and pepper. Oven was redundant as there were no oven trays or pans to use. We have stayed several times at this complex and always had basics covered. It's a bit tired. Broken blind in bedroom, big crack running along one wall in bathroom. Above may sound petty but it all added up to feeling like owners were squeezing every last cent out of their investment. Read the other reviews carefully and you will see similar themes. This apartment, although private and poolside access which is wonderful, only gets very little, if any, morning sun in September. Don't get us wrong Sea Temple, is always wonderful, just shop around in which apartment you choose - this one was very expensive (but the only one left poolside so we took it) and didn't met our expectations for the reasons outlined above.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - Apartment was fantastic, loved being able to have such easy access to the pool. Belinda gave us clear instructions on getting in and finding a park which really helped. We had requested that both rooms were made up with king beds, but one room had been made with two singles. The kitchen did not have the basic supplies that had been advertised - none of the standard items like salt, pepper, oil.
