Guest Reviews
- Nicole (10/5): Perfect - The property was clean, the location was great and the host was very helpful and always available. Just keep in mind that there are a lot of stairs to the Old Town, so it feels farther away than it actually is. I’d recommend renting a moped. Don’t underestimate the heat in Dubrovnik.
- Heather (9/5): - Difficult to locate the entrance to the property ( was dark and late evening when we arrived) but after phoning was eventually met and received a warm welcome by the hosts son. Thank you.
View from the veranda beautiful.
Katarina was a superb host, very helpful and full of tips to make our visit to Dubrovnik even better. Would recommend getting the Dubrovnik Pass, local buses easy to use and allowed us to explore the area more. Cavtat was lovely too.
- WIOLETA (7/5): - Apartament jest wyposażony we wszystko co potrzeba do samodzielnego gotowania Duża ilość schodów aby dotrzeć do apartamentu ale w Dubrowniku w większości tak jest.
- Westerdijk (9/5): perfect - Erg vriendelijke familiewoning bedden waren wat hard
- Steven (10/5): Very nice and cozy apartment with beautiful view. Host is very nice and friendly -
- Tiziano (10/5): Next time...

- Julie (10/5): Excellent value self contained flat with beautiful views from the sun terrace - Great location, 20 mins down to the old town and Pile Gate, and bus network, and just a few minutes walk to a well stocked shop and a baker shop. Received a lovely warm welcome from Katarina, who was always on hand if we needed anything. Well equipped kitchen, great shower, and spotlessly clean.. Lovely views from the sun terrace. The use of the washing machine was a huge bonus after three weeks of travelling around! . Great value, would definitely recommend. Loved our stay, everything was perfect - but remember that you have to walk UP the hill and steps to go back to the apartment! (Don't be put off - you could always take a taxi!) 😎🙂
- GREGORY (8/5): Two days in Dubrovnik -

- Klaudia (10/5): Everything was good - Really nice and helpful Owner. Nice localization upper the Old Town, near the mail bus stop for trips. Very clean apartment with kitchen accesories. Free liquids in bathroom and very comfortable bed for rest. Everything was good.
- Joanna (9/5): Superb - Katharina was a very nice and helpful host. We would love to come back in better weather :) The shop was a 5-minute walk away, the old town and port 20 minutes away. Great localization!
- Michaelac93 (9/5): Superb - Cozy ground floor apartment on an elevated area with a nice view from the shared terrace, which the owners also have access to. The apartment was very clean, the bed linen smelled nice and everything was prepared on time. The key handover went without a problem and the lovely host Katarina answered quickly via Whatsapp everytime. Even when the shower in the bathroom needed to be replaced, she immediately bought a new one and replaced it.
The equipment is sufficient, towels and shower gel and shampoo are available. WiFi worked very well the whole time.
I always enjoyed having lunch on the shared terrace with a beautiful view of the sea.
If I ever return to Dubrovnik, I will gladly use this accommodation again. The apartment is older, but fully adequate. The only thing that bothered us was that there were not enough hangers for wet towels and the apartment is on a hill and there are more than 140 steps from the lower part of the city to get there, which could be very demanding for some (it was not a problem for us). In the winter season, the air conditioning is used for heating and it was not always sufficient, but nothing that cannot be managed. The kitchen could also have a sharper knife, otherwise we have no complaints.
- Lj (10/5): Low cost apartment, great location, amazing views, everything you need, lovely host! Would definitely recommend and stay - It was very clean and it has everything you need. Hairdryer, iron, dishwasher, you can also use a washing machine, just ask. Plenty of hot water for showers, towels, shower gel and shampoo provided. Our host Katarina was very welcoming and helpful.
Excellent location, quiet, amazing views. As previously said in earlier reviews there are lots of steps to get to the property so just be aware of that, there are lots of steps in Dubrovnik everywhere!
We did find the apartment a little difficult to find using Google Maps, from the top road you need to follow the steps furthest down to the left. It’s approximately 138 steps down!
Dubrovnik Old Town is absolutely stunning, but be aware it’s a little expensive for food and drinks. The ice cream shop near the entrance to the wall walk is a bargain though at €2.50 for a large scoop of delicious gelato!
If you follow the steps down from the property and go under the subway you will find a small supermarket where you can grab some essentials. Follow the hill down from there to the old town.
Or go right at the bottom of the steps instead of going under the subway and follow the road a little way to find a bakery, another supermarket and a couple of local bars (much cheaper than in the old town!) there is also a pizza shop there.
We got the Dubrovnik pass which cost €35 for 7 days and used the local bus service quite often to get around. You can get a bus to the top road from the old town and walk down rather than up if you struggle with the steps. (You also get entrance to some local attractions with the pass including the walls. I think it is more expensive in summer). Nothing, we were very pleased with it. Excellent value.
- George (4/5): Disappointing - The location was convenient to the old town. Size, we could barely move around the apartment. Workmanship, very poor and apparently not completed. Needed assistance from other renters in order to find the apartment and find keys
- Eduardo (10/5): The property is well maintained and comfortable to stay. Very homely and very relaxing when you get home from our tour. - The property is immaculate condition and very clean. Nothing
- Clare (10/5): Fantastic apartment that was great value for money. - Fantastic little apartment that had everything we needed. Fantastic view of the sea. Short walk to The Old Town. Our host was extremely helpful too. Nothing.
- Paul (9/5): The apartment was excellent value for money and a good base to visit and explore the city. - A lovely clean apartment that was ideal for visiting Dubrovnik Old Town. Very convenient for local shops and grocery supplies.
Our host Katrina was very hospitable and couldn’t do enough for us. Advising where to go and what to see: Trips out, restaurants and attractions.
It was lovely to sit out on the patio of an evening and have a few drinks and a nibble. The property is nestled in the backstreets of the town and there are a number of steps to navigate.
- Debra (8/5): We loved our stay and had a great time in Dubrovnik - We loved the location although there were alot of stairs, the bed was large and very comfortable, the host was lovely , we would definitely recommend it. Just felt a bit if a lack of attention to detail , like the hook in the bathroom that was needed was broken , there was a mirrow in the bedroom but placed very low on the wall so you had to sit in the bed to use it and the patio was lovely but just a bit scruffy.
- Macgillivray (9/5): Excellent apartment for a break - It's a really nice apartment. Our hostess was happy to help with anything. Location is within walking distance of Old Town with an option of bus too. Not an issue for us but steps to reach property would be challenging for those with mobility issues
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great! The host was lovely and made sure that we we settled in and had everything we needed.
- Colm (10/5): excellent location to stay - great location and friendly, helpful host
- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional - Great little apartment quite close to the centre of the old town. Host was extremely friendly and helpful! Great views!
- Jeorgia (10/5): everything you need in a top location - amazing host (really lovely), quiet location, sea view from shared balcony, kitchen set up, family owned property so safe, facilities, very close to walking track - everything :) nothing. thought it was a private balcony but it didn’t really matter.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect and apartment was very clean with lovely hosts , would highly recommend. Only a small thing but the bed was uncomfortable and the slates kept popping off which we had to fix a few times, not a massive issue though.
