Guest Reviews
- Sarah (10/5): Logement très propre et avec tous les équipements nécessaires. C’est conforme à la description, - La vue sur la mer est splendide, cela nous a même donné l’opportunité de voir des aurores australes depuis le logement 😍 Tout était nickel
- Roka (7/5): -
- Sassine (8/5): -
- Jennifer (6/5): Good for short stay comfy bed - Loved decor modern fresh all the things you need even a washing machine loved the ocean views NO FLY SCREENS ON WINDOWS OR SLIDING DOORS you don’t have fresh air because of blowfly or mossie coming in you can’t open windows at night for fresh air have sleep with the aircon on also have to walk sideways to get in to bed not much room and dark outside no street lights and shelves too high no good for short people I couldn’t reach the wine glasses as well as the mirror in bathroom too high only see top of my head
- Glenn (10/5): Fabulous short stay, will stay again.🐾🐾😁 - Roomy, tidy, pet friendly 🐾🐾 N/A
- Bob (6/5): I'll consider other options next time - Price was good, good location to explore Port Arthur. Washing machine, no washing powder, no dryer. Drove to Sorell to use laundromat instead. Mouse trap behind TV.
- Marty (5/5): Was ok for the money - Nice outlook No extra blankets or pillows. Not very clean. Bed base very sharp & sticks out past mattress. Nowhere to put soap in shower recess
- Ivan (8/5): - Great view out across the bay.
- Leh Sieng (7/5): -
- Neil (8/5): A good stay - Had everything we needed The couch could be upgraded
- Daniel (8/5): Beautiful view, very relaxing & clean - Very comfortable, lovely view, quiet, No face washers
No Shower soap
No Shampoo & conditioner
No cleaning products as stated only empty bottles
No dish detergent
Kicked my toes on the bed as it is too big for room size
- Chantal (9/5): Wonderful place to stay - This little home was comfortable and clean. It is more spacious and has a fuller kitchen than other Airbnb "studio apartments" we have stayed in. The bedroom has some separation from the living space although no door. There's a dishwasher and a laundry machine. It is a standalone little home on it's own lot so you have parking, a deck, bbq and grassy backyard. It is a bit of a drive out from Hobart and the airport. It's near a beautiful beach and a gas station. Lovely view from the sitting area. The bed has a bit of a dip in the middle

- Tomoko (9/5): - Kitchen utensils, lounge, washing machine, the size of the property, it was very comfortable stay, thank you. The smell of the bath towels and bed
- sarah (10/5): Relaxing and warm for winter break - Great yard for pet.
Clean and tidy with all appliances
Full kitchen for cooking
Really comfy bed
- Janette (10/5): Exceptional - Has everything you need. Great communication, easy, great views. Relaxing stay N/A
- Daniela (8/5): Very good - Had everything needed. The only downside were missing fly screens.
- Troy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (9/5): Our stay was overall very comfortable and would stay again but for the bed. - Easy access, place was immaculate and every detail as advertised. Bed was comfortable but very difficult to get out of. Bed frame stuck out and very easy to trip over. Nothing other than awkwardness of bed.
- Sacha (7/5): Cute cabin - Bed was comfy
Self contained cabin, convenient
Nice view
Easy access to Tasman peninsula and beautiful national parks Could do with a deep cleaning
Very limited options to eat or shop around, so it is better to come with your essentials to cook a snack/meal.
- Dane (9/5): Superb -
- Jan (10/5): Cosy cabin, big views says it all! - The cabin had everything you could need for a week’s stay. Our purpose was to try to catch sight of the aurora which we did on 5 of our 7 nights with one night spectacular. There was no need to venture any further than the deck.
A short drive to Sorell brings you to supermarkets and a bus into Hobart $1.20 for concessions so no parking hassles.
Port Arthur was an easy drive for a great day out.
The whole area is on tank water so it’s a good opportunity to practice your sustainability. A lot of thought has been put into making the most of what water is available.
We spent a very comfortable week in the cabin and highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a few days or a few weeks in a beautiful location.
- Bonnie (9/5): A beautiful little modern gem, gorgeous view, perfect for couples or the solo traveller - Everything we needed was there in the kitchen, bathroom and outside too!
The view was spectacular.
Heat/air con a great plus! Nothing we didn't like. Our only suggestion would be that fly/bug screens would be good for the windows and doors. Maybe a couch cover, too, to protect the fabric. Everything else was really great.
- Ietje (9/5): Fantastic 5 night stay. Recommended, would stay again. - Made our own Nothing, the only item missing was a colander. Everything else was there.
- Alison (9/5): Superb - Awesome cottage with sea views, large back yard and large work desk (with sea views from the desk window). I found the bed a bit too soft (but that's just a personal preference).
- Annette (7/5): Good -
- Brianna (9/5): Superb - A beautiful modern and cosy cabin. Very homey and clean. Had everything we could have needed during our stay.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Brian (9/5): Excellent value for money in a community of partly permanents and partly holiday homes. - It was cosy, but had everything you needed Bedroom a little cramped
- Dean (9/5): A wonderful vibe that I can’t wait to get back too - The place had a beautiful vibe to it. Just incredible. And so close to my friends who live in Primrose Sands. Was a shame the power went at 1.5hr and half before I went to bed on the last night. But in all honesty, I can wait to come back to this place again.
Thank you 🙏
Dean S The power going out on the last night. But that was no real biggie
- Bushimages (7/5): Restful - No power points in bed room that I could find maybe the owner could add one for people who use things like cpat machines?
- Kristina (8/5): Lovely functional cabin - Lovely little cabin, very functional, within close reach of the coast and view down to the ocean. Had everything required, including some useful pantry items, good bar-style table / desk looking into the greenery. Very private and shielded from houses opposite; great deck / backyard. Excellent bathroom / shower; mattress very soft - which is good or bad depending on personal preference. Unfortunately - maybe as a result of a previous visitor's pet(s)?? - the couch (and therefore the cabin) smelled a little unpleasant and could do with a clean.
As a note for less mobile visitors, there is only very little space on either side of the bed. Mattress very soft - which is good or bad depending on personal preference.
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (9/5): A little gem in a big location! - This was a really awesome cabin, beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and facilities. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, warm clean quality sheets, pillows and blankets. We slept so well. The rain shower was luxurious and the water was steaming hot! Overall the bathroom was lovely! The cabin was well stocked with kitchen staples and the lounge with games, perfect as our 5 year old granddaughter visited one day 😊. The location is wonderful, close to some beautiful wineries and beaches (loads of amazing beach walks and beach scavenging opportunities) Very quiet neighborhood and the night sky out here is so clear and vast, the milky way so big and large! The view of the bay was to die for and I can see us coming back again and again. Well done! Thank you for our stay. As it was winter when we visited, thermal comfort could be increased with a rug on the lounge room floor and thicker window coverings. Also a smart TV would have aced the rating! Other than that nothing more required. It was marvelous.
- Emma (7/5): Good - Lovely spot and nice little set out cabin. Will be awesome when there's no construction to wake up to Charged cleaning fee to customers but was not very clean? Could use little things like a hand soap by the sink or a place to put toiletries in the shower etc. just small things. Also would've liked the fact that they're not on mains in the listing as we had to worry about every dish we washed and shower we took.
- Petrus (10/5): Exceptional - Enjoyed the facilities, especially the coffee machine! Also enjoyed the view of the living room, could see Aurora from living room window!
- Aleysia (10/5): Cosy and relaxing - Cute!! Bed was so comfortable and in all was a great little stay. Nothing was perfect.
- Susan (9/5): Superb - Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view. Quiet location.
- Farque2 (8/5): Very cosy cabin - Quiet, peaceful seaside town. Very comfortable/cosy cabin. Excellent views across the water. Very happy stay over.
- Bryan (8/5): Very good -
- Jeannie (7/5): Lovely thanks - It had all the facility we needed for self catering and close to Dodges Ferry and Carlton Beach
Bed was amazingly comfortable
- Graeme (9/5): Superb -
- Doris (7/5): Comfortable stay - The cabin was well equipt. Nice shower, outside sitting area, nicely set up. The cleanlinees was a little superficial, found hair in fridge, draws and on wet sponge that was stored in cupboard, were cleaning products were kept. Might benefit of fly screens in windows so that they can be kept open without flys or Insect issues.
- Arnold (10/5): Lovely place in Primrose Sands. - We thiought this a great little place to stay; hardly a cabin. It is a well kept little bungalow with large back garden porch with barbie and cushioned seats. Plenty of grass in the garden area to play ball. The bed was very comfortable. There was a washer and dryer, stocked kitchen and comfortable living area. The neighbourhood is quiet and Primrose Sands beach is within an easy 15 minute walk. One can drive to the beach is under 5 minutes with ample parking, at least on the wind-swept day we were there. lovely views of the Bay; hard to beat. We thought it Cozy Cabin perfect for our needs, visiting friends in the local area and enjoying the views.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - What a lovely view and the house feels like your home. Spotlessly clean and everything you would need. Great spot to do the bottom of tassie from. Highly recommend this place to stay
- Moritz (8/5): Very good - The cabin was very tidy and cosy with a great view, a nice garden and patio. Kitchen was well equipped and we liked the big shower. It's a very quiet area and not far from Tasman Peninsula. We enjoyed our stay. Cleanliness could be better.
- Tracey (8/5): Very good -
- Michaela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (7/5): Good - Cosy cabin
