• Leon (6/5): Prima, centrale plek zolang er geen calamiteiten zijn... - Het appartement ligt behoorlijk centraal in Milaan en dat is meteen het enige "hoogtepunt" van de accommodatie. Op loopafstand ligt de metro die je naar het stadscentrum met die schitterende dom brengt. Wat tevens beviel was de bakker om de hoek en de nachtwinkel aan de overkant. De locatie is dus het grootste pluspunt, ook al is het buiten best luidruchtig met die daklozen (?) op de bankjes aan de weg. Maar goed, we zijn in de tweede stad van Italië en die heeft véél te bieden. Veel meer dan wij in twee dagen kunnen zien. Vooral de moderne architectuur heeft indruk op mij gemaakt. De hop-on hop-off bus-tour ging helaas de mist in doordat een grote demonstratie het verkeer lamlegde, en daardoor hebben wij o.a. het San Siro Stadion gemist. Er is geen nooduitgang. Mocht er brand uitbreken in of naast het appartement, dan ben je reddeloos verloren. Ik heb me erover verbaasd dat panden zonder nooduitgang überhaupt verhuurd mogen worden. Maar als je de ogen hiervoor sluit (...) dan bevind jij je op een fraaie (maar eenvoudige) locatie op een centrale plek.

The apartment itself is small but has everything you need - clean linens, comfortable pillows, towels, bathroom supplies, hair dryer, iron It was easy to get the keys in the locker, also the owner went out of his way to allow us to leave 20 minutes late Very fast internet The bed is very hard to pull up and turn into a sofa. You probably won't do it Small desk that is not very comfortable to work at and slow elevator
