Victoria (3/5): Apartment not as pictured, overwhelming damp problem. - Location is great, easy to collect keys. Host very communicative. When we walked into the apartment there was an overwhelming smell of damp. The bed sheets felt damp and there were a few dehumidifiers/ the plastic tubs in each room so it’s clearly a known issue. It made the stay uncomfortable as I didn’t want to hang my clothes in the wardrobe due to the smell. We chose not to cook in the apartment which we thought would be one of the perks of the stay due to this - so we would have been better stating in a hotel and would have probably been cheaper. The pillow on the bed smelt dirty, the bedding smelt damp, so I bought another pillow to use. The bedside tables were falling apart, the light which in the living room fell off every tine we turned it on, the chair in the living room is being held together by a side table. It’s a joke! Really, really disappointed the photos used on booking show a clean, modern apartment which it is not its very misleading. The price did not reflect the stay we are really disappointed and absolutely will not stay again and do not recommend. The only perk is location.
