• Penny (8/5): Very enjoyable - Great location, spacious, fab balcony. Unfortunately had a problem with hot water and toilets but it was sorted out.
• Sarah (10/5): Beautiful apartment with lush gardens and singing birds - This is such a beautiful apartment and I felt like I was in a rainforest. So many beautiful plants and birds! The pool was great as well. The hill is very steep but otherwise it was great
• Hayley (8/5): Overall had a good stay and the host was very accomodating and helpful! Responded so quickly. - Lovely property in good location! Comfortable beds and very spacious! A little outdated and a few things like the door to the courtyard were broken. The blinds were also not great some slats broken and hard to use. Let a lot of light in at night. The air con also very old and loud. The kitchen could have supplied a few more basics as well like washing up cloth etc.

Comfortable and stylish living areas inside and out and the bedrooms were delightful. Lots of nice little touches that really made our stay along with friendly and relaxed communication. We would definitely stay again. Wouldn't change anything it was a lovely relaxing place to spend time.

• Susan (8/5): Relaxing holiday in lovely location in a pleasant apartment with quick access to beautiful views, walks and beach - The location with lovely lawn with view and close to beach and restaurants. Spacious property with big balcony, nice furnishings and art work. Good TV and WiFi. Nice bottle of Prosecco provided too! Good communication with host. Quiet private apartment. Very worse for wear bed and mattress In master bedroom- so saggy on one side and very creaky old bed frame . Very limited supply of mugs ( maybe only 3?) Pool and hot tub not heated so not useable.

• Smith (6/5): It was a great location, but the access road and stairs would prevent me from staying there again. - A comfortable, roomy apartment with a well equipped kitchen. Lovely view from balcony. It was close to the main street. Unfortunately, we were unaware of the flights of stairs to access the apartment and pool. Also a very steep road to the property. This made it difficult to get luggage to the apartment and extremely difficult to walk home with shopping. Other guests also commented on the number of stairs.
• David (10/5): Port Douglas and no 3 the hill thanks for a great time. - Location, size of bedrooms, comfy beds, views from. Balcony, price, our host Nadine was very helpful and made sure everything went as planned with no issues. We had a great stay and look forward to a return visit. There is absolutely nothing not to like about No 3 The Hill we were all very sad to leave and wished our stay could have been longer. Thanks again to Nadine for making our stay so perfect. Parking a bit difficult we had a Toyota Hilux and the 4 security posts that were up on half the driveway entry made it difficult to park. The posts don't appear to provide any additional security as they only covered half the entry to the parking so I couldn't' understand why they were there. Without them parking would have been a lot easier. I had to park in the visitor bay as I couldn't swing the car into the dedicated bay for number 3 due to the posts and wall. A smaller vehicle would have been ok but this is Oz and lots of rentals are large 4x4s like ours was. Not a major issue but maybe something that could be looked at for future.

Close to all Port Do - Spacious & comfortable Host Nadine was super helpful Loved the large terrace, access to washing machine and complimentary goodies in fridge. Kitchen is a bit tired cabinetry needs updating but it’s still serviceable

• Päivi (9/5): Easter holiday March 2024 - The apartement was big and cosy. Location very good, a few minutes walk to the city or to beach. Gorgeous views. Inside the apartement was tidy and clean, outside perhaps a bit worn. Little challenges to get central air condition to be convenient for different bedrooms. It was a bit noisy too. We arrived in the middle of the night and got beforehand very good instructions, so we found easily the apartement and the keys. And a bowl of Easter chocolate eggs was a nice wellcome, too!

• Robert (8/5): Port Douglas gem. - Great central location. Good views from the verandah and back garden. Great pool. Good kitchen facilities. Comfortable furniture. The host Nadiene was lovely and more than helpful. Port Douglas is beautiful so I'm biased. Internet in Port Douglas is sketchie generally and phones go down on occasions. Wifi only worked in living room. While quite close to Macrosson street was up a reasonable hill from the shops. It had 40+ steps up to the unit from car parking with no lift. While not an issue for our family, you need to be fit to access the unit. Not suitable for people with limited mobility. The kitchen was well stocked and functional but a bit shabby. Beds were very good. Unfortunately we had a loud all night party in the unit above on our last night but you can't help d***heads
• Kate (7/5): Spacious apartment in a great location. - The position was great, close to town and the beach. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Lighting to the block was poor and needs attention, as does the amount of water left around. Both of these make the navigation of the stairs dangerous.
• Francesca (10/5): Perfect apartment for a relaxed break in the FNQ climate. - A beautiful, quiet and spacious apartment just a block back from the main street. The apartment is well appointed and tastefully decorated. Wonderful to sit on the balcony enjoying the tropical plants with a glass of champaign and Port Douglas' best restaurants just a few minutes walk away. Apartment situated up a small hill and accessed by stairs - but perfectly fine for people without mobility issues. Height provides a lovely position and view from balcony amongst tall lush tropical trees.
