• Ashley (1/5): Do not book this accommodation - if something goes wrong they won't fix it - We booked a 2-night stay in late December. Upon arrival the unit was very hot. We turned on the air conditioning but it wasn't generating any cooling and turned itself off every few minutes, with a fault light on the indoor unit. We contacted the property manager, who advised us that the air con was under warranty and the owners wanted to claim on warranty, and in the meantime we should open the windows. By 10am the next morning we had heard nothing, so re-contacted the property manager. She made it clear that as the owners were only in the early stage of the warranty claim process there would be no repair during our stay. We requested a full refund due to the accommodation being not as advertised. The owners refused, offering only $300 from an almost $900 booking, and then only on the condition that we vacate the property one night early. This in no way compensated for our discomfort during the first night, inconvenience at having to find somewhere to relocate and considerable financial outlay to move. We also found the property manager unprofessional. She tried to guilt trip us by telling us to put ourselves in her shoes and that we should appreciate how nice the accommodation was (despite the fact it was effectively uninhabitable). She was also very patronising, stating that if we considered air conditioning essential we could leave. This was in a 2-day period with temperatures over 35 degrees, a BOM heatwave warning in place, and us travelling with small children staying in a unit with no functioning air conditioning. Whether we consider it 'essential' or not, we paid for accommodation with air conditioning and they did nothing to resolve it during our stay. The owners prioritised their profits over providing the advertised amenities and have no care or empathy for their guests. We also escalated it to booking.com who sided with the owners. If something goes wrong, A Sunny Place and the owners aren't interested in fixing it

• Tara (10/5): Relaxing family beach holiday - The property had everything we would like for a comfortable stay and more! It was very thoughtfully decorated and even had beach towels! It had enough space for our family of six. It was close to the beach and had a lovely pool and spa, not to mention the tennis court. The air con was appreciated. Val was very friendly and quick to reply to our messages. We had a lovely and relaxing holiday. Nothing - would definitely be keen to go back.

• Debbie (6/5): Pleasant - We were not told that there was not a lift and as the room was located on the 2nd level we had to carry our bags up two flights of stairs. Being older women this was a bit difficult to do. We thought this was a resort as indicated by the name and we would be able to get help with our bags if needed. The stairs were the biggest issue for us and had we known that there was not a lift we would not have stayed here. Also the shower in the main bathroom was above the bath with a fixed glass screen on the bath. The bath was narrow and there were no rails to hold onto to get in and out. This was dangerous for us being older so we all needed to use the ensuite shower for safety.
• Lydia (9/5): Overall fabulous stay and we definately stay here again. - The house was lovely and was very comfortable for our family of 6 adults. Resort facilities available were great and a quick walk to the beach was enjoyable. The location was good in that it was in a quieter area of the sunshine coast and was relatively central to activities and supermarkets. Because it was a quieter area we definately needed a car to get around. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very good so I don't believe we got the best out of the house and the facilities.

• Kayleen (10/5): Exceptional can only describe this unit and it’s host - The entire property was perfect and exceptionally clean. The little touches from the host that welcomed you. Everything you could possibly need or want was supplied. There was nothing not to like
• Melanie (8/5): Definitely stay here again. - Nice and near apartment great size fir a family. Well provided room. Great location. Dryer stopped constantly. For the sunnier months curtains over the blinds will cut down on the sun coming in.

• Nicole (8/5): Very good - The facilities at the property were excellent. The kids loved the pool and spa, basketball and tennis. Access to the beach was super easy and a small stroll to the flags for the kids to swim. The gardens were immaculate and the apartment was very clean and cosy. The only criticism was that the beds in rooms 2 & 3 where my sister and I slept were very uncomfortable we both ended up with bad sleep and backs ☹. Other than that the stay was amazing!
