• Dominique (10/5): A luxurious home away from home, with everything you need within walking distance. - The apartment was beautiful. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen has the finest appliances, everything needed to self cater. There are numerous restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance to suit all budgets. The beach is minutes walk away, with safe swimming and long stretches of beautiful white sand in both directions. We liked everything about this property
• Jeffrey (10/5): If I were to go back to the Gold Coast, I would definitely try to book this place again. Excellent choice! - This place is a dream for families, perfect in so many ways. Location: GC Getaways can be found at, I’d like to say, a higher end part of the Gold Coast. What makes a location great for me is the ease of transportation, close distance to necessities, and of course, security is a plus. There is a bus station directly in front of the building making it easy for you to get around. We didn’t use the train, but from the looks of it, it’s about 2-3 blocks away. Woolworth’s is a stone’s throw away, making grocery shopping so easy. There are about 10-15 restaurants around the block, mostly on the pricey kind. If you want to be around a McDonald’s, KFC, or Hungry Jack’s kind of family, Surfer’s Paradise might be a better option. But we were happy with the choice of restaurants around the building, and we didn’t have to repeat one due to the immense number of choices. Most restor were open til late, so you really won’t go hungry in the area. The cafe below the building, No Name Cafe, serves great coffee, and sandwiches as well. If you prefer to sit down, they also have a great menu. The beach is about 100 steps away, just at the back of the block, cross the street, and you’re at the beach already. Great spot, too, not too crowded. There’s a 7-11 nearby in case you want options late at night. The views of the beach from the balcony? Magnificent. We had breakfast on the balcony thrice, so that we could enjoy and take in the views. Room: Very spacious! Both bedrooms were big, and we chose to make it a king size bed, since our 2 younger daughters still co-sleep with us. The second bedroom and can fit 2 people as well, our eldest daughter took that room. Both bathrooms are huge, with a bathtub, and with well-stocked toiletries as well. Kitchen/Laundry: They have a very well-equipped kitchen, complete with dishes, utenstils, pots and pans, name it, they had it. Restaurants in this location are on the pricey side

The apartment was well set up with little extras which made our stay much more enjoyable. Our host Stephen was extremely helpful & checked in regularly to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Peppers staff nothing to do with Oracle but they share the building so when we used spa pepper staff didn’t liked it and asked us to leave when asked why the reply was better not say anything !
