- Stanislav (10/5): A large apartment in a good neighborhood - Very good location. It’s a 20-minute walk to the Duomo. It’s a 25-minute walk to the central train station. There are two metro stations nearby. The street is full of restaurants and bars, and there is a good Unes supermarket nearby (open until 10 PM!). The apartment is spacious, a mix of old style and modern style, with a nice renovation, located in a charming historic Milan building. The kitchen is well equipped and even has a dishwasher, but surprisingly there is no toaster or microwave. In the bedroom and living room, there are two good Daikin branded air conditioners — absolutely amazing, very comfortable! The video instructions made it easy to open the two electronic locks from the street and to enter the building, but there was no explanation on how to open the wooden apartment door itself. My advice: to open the door, turn both locks to the right until the end (it takes about 5–6 turns because of the long bolt) and then push the door forward. I had some trouble with it at first because in my native country, due to strict fire safety regulations, doors only open outward. But the supporting team helped me immediately, I contacted them by WhatsApp. The TV antenna was not working. The support team came quickly but couldn’t fix it. The TV is not a smart TV and is not connected to the internet, so it’s not possible to watch anything online.
