- Ansel (8/5): I would rent it again. It’s a nice home and it’s very comfortable to spend time in. - I like the size of the house and the fact that it slept the four of us comfortably. It’s in a very good location when you’re picking up people from the airport. There’s lots of restaurants around there and the neighbourhood is quite respectable. The bedrooms were nicely equipped with comfortable beds. It was nice to have a washer and dryer that was modern and clean. The kitchen was very nice and downstairs was very good for entertaining overall. We had family from the area that came to visit us and we could entertain them easily in that area. I didn’t like the interior of the garage as it was very dingy given that it was unpainted, and it was in bad need of it. The house was very clean on the inside with the exception of some of the windows where there were handprints that were visible on them. But most of all I didn’t like the fact that the exterior windows were not clean at all and hadn’t been cleaned in sometime. The fireplace glass needs to be cleaned so that the fireplace looks nice again. Don’t get me wrong. The fireplace works fine, but cosmetically it needs to be cleaned. Also, given that the carpets are a light shade I would recommend that they be cleaned so that they look a little bit more pristine. They were OK but could’ve needed a clean. I will confess that I own a property maintenance company where we do home inspections and take care of maintenance for clients in Predator Ridge BC so I am picky. I feel it’s better to be honest so that you can make improvements if you want to.
