Guest Reviews
- Sharon (8/5): Perfect location, comfortable place to stay, would stay again! - Location, next to AIS, was perfect. Stairway up to property from car park needs a good clean.
- Kate (6/5): It was fine. In excellent, walkable location. Needs more attention to maintenance and cleaning. - Excellent location for AIS. Walkable to other amenities- IGA, cafes. Bathroom - grout is stained/mouldy and not very clean, prev water damage. Shower stank/likely dry trap - improved over the week of use. Undergoing repair to courtyards - no outdoor furniture and external door in bedroom open to public view. Need to have sliding door open to get fresh air/it was stuffy/stale but no fly screens. Only one towel per person for the week. No extra blankets/duvets.
- Matthew (7/5): - Close proximity to the stadium The bed was hard
- Kellie (6/5): I had a wonderful time in Canberra but I regret not booking in the city they had cheaper and cleaner accommodation. - It was close to AIS It wasn’t really that clean, also had a cockroach in the room.
Sitting on the toilet you could look up and you can see the next level through the vents that aren’t fixed , mould on the bathroom doors and shower was dirty .

- Prateek (8/5): - Near to places we wanted to go. As others have mentioned, The bathroom is not maintained well. The bedroom can get quite a bit chilly at night. We had an electric blanket so it was alright for us.
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- Cooney (7/5): - Location, space, value Construction,
- Rob (8/5): - Great location and facilities Very hard bed and couch
- Sweeney (4/5): - The location was close to where I had to attend study The apartment was in poor condition. The bathroom: Mould in the shower, water damaged skirting boards and both heats lamps were missing. Bedroom: an uncomfortable hard mattress, only one bedside lamp and no top sheet. The outside area was covered in cement dust as there were works being done.
- Dianne (4/5): Not satisfied - The property was not clean enough and the bathroom was very dirty. No soap holder and no hand shower. The water flow was not good enough The property was not clean enough and the bathroom was very dirty. No soap holder and no hand shower. The water flow was not good enough. Since the day we booked until we left, there was construction work just outside the apartment and in our balcony. Some of the time we could not even talk to each other neither watch TV or make a telephone call due to so much noise, which started at 7:30 until 4 pm.
- Renae (4/5): - Good location for me - Microwave was filthy.
Mould all through the shower and bathroom.
Rug was dirty

- Broughton (3/5): Poor -
- Grant (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (6/5): It satisfied requirements. - Location was right next to ais which is what I needed Bathroom was not in Good state. Grout appeared mouldy and there was no soap holder in shower.
- Dragan (9/5): Superb -
- Ryan (4/5): Disappointing - Location Worst shower,it was like have a mist not a shower.
- Warwick (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (7/5): A pleasant stay (except for the bed) - The apartment was clean with one exception (the shower) and the bed linen and towels were great. The bed was really hard and pretty uncomfortable and the shower needed a good scrubbing (especially the grout). Previous reviews have also mentioned these two faults.
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Perfectly situated for my stay. Handy to local shops, etc. 3 mi utes from Canberra University & 15 minutes from National Art Museum and other sites.
- Stacey (9/5): Clean, accessible, not far from Canberra and all it offers, secure parking, - Secure parking, self contained, close to a supermarket and a restaurant Breeze didn’t flow thru even with the door open in the bedroom & got quite stuffy.
- Kerri (9/5): Superb - Clean, convenient and well equipped. Nothing
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynda (8/5): We enjoyed our stay... just a few small maintenance issues. - The location was perfect for us as our daughter was at the AIS in a training camp We felt the bathroom needs repairs. The shower head is not a comfortable to shower under. The shower screen needs replacing. The rotten sides of the vanity made it feel unclean due to the mould. The lounge areaa smells of cigarette smoke.
- Sal (8/5): Very good -
- Cameron (8/5): Nice spot and quite modern - Very clean and modern. Kitchenette was fairly well equipped, much better than some others I've stayed in. Bed was comfy and the space in general was good. Great bus connections all things considered. The bedroom got a little chilly due to there not being any heater in there and the window being adjacent to the bed. The internet on the TV didn't work most of the time so be prepared for FTA only. As mentioned by almost everyone else in the reviews... fix the blinds!!! It would cost about 50¢ from Bunnings to fix these!!!
- Ann-louise (8/5): Very good - Lovely place.. very modern, cosy and efficient with everything we needed.. great parking availability. Shower wasn't great, it was more mist than water (shower head needs replacing?).. and a very firm mattress wasn't the most comfortable.
- Jodie (8/5): Great apartment in a great location - Well appointed apartment in a great location. Really appreciated the free carpark
- Ziad (7/5): Good - There was no breakfast The fridge was leaking water every time open the fridge door.
The shower head need to be replaced with a better on.
Heating lights in the bathroom is not working.
Curtains in the living room needs to be replaced as there some parts are missing.
- Andrew (6/5): Great Value for money and really convenient, suited our needs - Great value that suited our needs, will be booking again when next in Canberra Just the booking in system with the keys was a bit vague, with multiple emails sent leading up to the stay and on the night of the stay on where to leave the keys,
Only other comment was the blankets in the room where a bit thin, not a criticism as indicated will be back again
- Kayleen (9/5): Had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Would stay here again and would recommend to others. - The property was very comfortable and functional unit and in a great location close to the AIS where we were attending a 4 day swimming meet. Enjoyed sitting in the sun in the little courtyard. The heat lights in the bathroom did not work which made it a little dark. The shower could do with a good clean there were some rust type stains on the tiles and some mould in the grout but nothing major.
- Belinda (9/5): Great and very comfortable apartment in a good location. - Well situated. It was decorated nicely and had all equipment that could be required. It was neat and clean. Instructions on how to access the property were thorough and the hosts were easy to contact The shower head was a little awkward to use. The rug had some stains from previous guests. However the property was clean.
- M (7/5): Good - Great location for AIS Bed was uncomfortable, blinds were missing slats.
- Fay (7/5): Good -
- Lisa (7/5): Overall everything we needed in the right location. - The shower and bed were terrible
- Jason (3/5): Pretty disappointing. Definitely not a 5 star Oasis as the PM claims - Secure undercover parking. Quality washer, dryer and microwave. Close to GIO stadium. Bathmat was missing, nonstick pans scratched & unsafe to use which the prop manager replaced immediately. Neglected property. Broken blinds & tv cabinet, dishwasher doesn’t seem to clean properly. Split system desperately needs a clean. Warm showers only. Pm wanted to charge $35 for 2nd keys even though it was a two person booking. For a 2 week stay: Missing dishwasher tablets, toilet paper (2 rolls supplied), 2 laundry powder packets supplied, 5% left on hand wash bottle. Pm said we need to BYO or pay for a room restock. The common area and stairwell are not maintained, full of spiders/webs when accessing your vehicle
- Amelia (6/5): Acceptable budget apartment for the price. Pleasant (except for the very firm mattress, & cleaners) - Great location, close to the people we were visiting, and across the road from the AIS Functional apartment, Met most of our needs (but cleaners were poor - delayed check-in by 3 hours, cleaning job was mediocre (with signs that the apartment had not had a decent clean in months - just brief clean downs between visitors)
Bed is very firm (too firm for us), but acceptable for the price.
Rest of the apartment was good, and hosts were friendly.
- Kelley (4/5): Disappointing -
- Tina (8/5): Very good -
- Melissa (9/5): Superb - big enough communication
- Liviu (7/5): Good -
- Kwon (8/5): Very good -
- Filisoaina (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and has everything you need in an apartment. Great communication. Thank you
- Tina (9/5): Good would return again - Good size and location Hot water needs to be hotter
- Ross (8/5): Very good -
- Isabelle (9/5): Superb -
- Darren (5/5): GREAT LOCATION. BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN. APARTMENT HAS ALL FACILITIES & LAYOUT. - LITTLE IF ANY HOT WATER FROM THE SHOWER AND TAP SYSTEMS. HAD HOT TAP ON MAXIMUM NO COLD ON AT ALL YET WATER WAS JUST LUKE WARM. GIVEN CANBERRA'S CLIMATE - NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. ONE TOWEL ONLY FOR ENTIRE STAY. USE IT ONCE AGAIN GIVEN THE CLIMATE IT DOESNT DRY WHEN MERELY HUNG OUT. BED A LITTLE TOO FIRM. SORRY I NEVER COMPLAIN AND STAY AWAY REGULARLY BUT PRESENT THIS TO BETTER YOUR FACILITY
- Carol (4/5): Very overpriced and disappointing. - Location was good for access to hospital. Instructions to get in the apartment were very complicated. The place smelled as if someone had recently smoked inside. The control for one of the hot plates didn’t work. The water was barely hot enough for a shower. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and covered in plastic. Very disappointing. Certainly no ‘oasis’!
- Iain (8/5): Very good -
