• Ferrand (6/5): Not perfect but a well located place for very short term - The apartment is well located, not in the noisy old quarter but close enough. We stayed in Bom’s 2, bedroom was spacious, big bed and big wardrobe. We had our own bathroom. Beds were really hard, we’re not used to that but I know it’s common here. Room is a bit dark, missing of natural light. It’s also pretty humid. Bathroom was a bit smelly.

• Kumar (2/5): - Nothing. Everything. It was shady af. There were no managers or care takers at the property. That works when you have a secure door system. Bom’s House had an open main door where anyone could walk in. The room promised was completely opposite from what was given. The whole property felt like a shady spot.

• Nguyễn Thị (1/5): NOOOOOOO - Phòng thì khá xinh, nhưng tường thì khá cũ, nhà vệ sinh siêu cũ và có mùi ống thoát nước siêu hôi. Lối đi vào siêu đáng sợ. Rất không thích nhà vệ sinh, có mùi ống thoát nước siêu cũ và hôi. Tường thì cũ và mốc. Không hề thông tin gì về việc không có thang máy, mình mang tận 2 cái vali lận !!! KHÔNG CÓ THANG MÁY + CẦU THANG SIÊU HẸP. NỆM KHÔNG CÓ MÙI THƠM, KIỂU CHĂN GA MỀN CŨ Í. THỰC SỰ KHÔNG ĐÁNG, VỚI GIÁ NÀY NHỮNG HOMESTAY KHÁC MÌNH THẤY OK HƠN NHIỀU.

• Jonna (3/5): Nicht zu empfehlen - Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert und die Lage war sehr zentral. Der Check In war sehr einfach. Das Bett war bequem. Mehrere Sachen leider: - Wir haben nicht einmal Personal gesehen und mussten das Geld am Ende einfach im Zimmer liegen lassen - Das Badezimmer war außerhalb des Zimmers und wurde einfach von anderen mit benutzt, obwohl uns gesagt worden ist, dass das nicht passiert - Die Steckdosen haben nicht funktioniert oder angefangen zu rauchen und qualmen, wenn man sie benutzt hat - Die Klimaanlage konnte man nicht ausschalten oder einstellen - Wir hatten ein anderes Zimmer, welches deutlich größer gewesen wäre, gebucht und ein doppelt so kleines Zimmer bekommen

• Charline (8/5): - Pour le prix, le logement est vraiment bien ! Nous étions la chambre 3. La salle de bain est à l’extérieur mais reste privée donc cela ne gêne pas beaucoup. Le lit est super confortable et il n’y a pas de bruit le matin, ce qui est un vrai plus pour Hanoï.
• Ajla (9/5): Gute Unterkunft in zentraler Lage (trotzdem ruhig) - Sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber! Konnten trotz später Anreise gegen Mitternacht problemlos einschecken. Die Unterkunft war sehr großzügig geschnitten und war gut ausgestattet. Badezimmer war auch relativ groß. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Die Matratze war etwas hart.

• Perrine (1/5): Vous pouvez vous voir refuser la chambre le jour de votre arrivée - Nous avons appris le jour même que nous ne pouvions pas loger dans la chambre que nous avons réservé. L’hôte m’a contacté par Whatsapp en me disant qu’il y avait eu trop de réservations pour le nombre de chambres. Il n’a pas voulu annuler ma réservation donc j’ai dû me débrouiller pour trouver un autre logement au dernier moment (hausse de prix x2 pour le même nombre de nuits !!) S’il avait annulé ma réservation, Booking aurait payé la différence du montant !!

• Claudia (5/5): Naja - Lage ist wirklich gut! Das einzige Unterkunft, bei der wir weder einen Pass zeigen mussten ( angemeldet wurden) noch den Verwalter jemals gesehen haben und am Ende einfach das Geld auf den Kühlschrank gelegt haben. Achtung unterschiedliche Zimmer, bei Bom 1 liegt das Bad auf dem Flur. Die Außentür zur Straße ist eine Lichtgittertür, die auch Nachts nicht abgeschlossen ist.
• Lois (7/5): - Very good location, it’s on a quieter street so not as noisy but you’re 1 minute away from the main road in the Old Quarter. Very good value for money, the property was cleaned to a decent standard and had good facilities for the price. The owner is lovely too, he offered us some free tea on our last morning of the stay! The rooms could have been slightly cleaner, but again you get a good standard for the price you pay.

Номер огромный! 🤩 и такой стильный и невероятно уютный, мне пришлось очень по вкусу! Свой санузел, очень удобная кровать, моя спина сказала спасибо! Все умывальные принадлежности и полотенца с тапочками были. Электрочайник, кондиционер. Что очень порадовало - это площадь номеров, отдых был очень уютным, из него не хотелось даже выходить)) полочки с книжками, вазочки, аксессуары, журнальный столик, диванчик - те мелочи, которые радовали глаза и душу. А хозяин очень клиентоориентированный, сразу реагирует на вопросы и запросы, сервис высший класс 👍 спасибо большое, я крайне рекомендую сюда заселиться!!!!!

• José (8/5): Bueno - La ubicación, el tamaño y la limpieza. Puedes ir caminando a todas las zonas turísticas de Hanoi. La cama es realmente dura, incluso puede llegar a ser incómodo.

• Hendra (10/5): Enjoyable - Easy check in. Host allows me to check in early. Place is clean. Hot water for shower. A/c works fine. Netflix on tv. Wifi is good (it was down one time, but after message the host, he fixed it). There are hangers to hang clothes. Towel is provided. Location is still not too far from old quarter and train street 4th floor, but, it is good exercise going up and down :-)
• Mirane (9/5): Superb - The location was very good, nice room, very specious. The room was clean and smelled good and the host messaged the next morning to check in which is very nice of him! We loved our stay there. The host was very nice but unfortunately not very responsive. We arrived early morning and asked to leave the bags, they confirmed it’s ok but when the moment came they didn’t respond and we were stack outside. The neighbours knew the gate was unlock so we got in but didn’t make us feel safe about leaving our bags there! These things didn’t bother us but bear in mind: The downstairs area was a bit messy and I think we could hear mice/ rats. Windows is directly in front of another building so not privacy unless you close the curtain. Hot water was a bit inconsistent.

• John (10/5): Value for money, great host, great location. Perfect. - Host was friendly and left very good instructions on how to get there and made sure everything was comfortable. Room and location exceeded my expectations, with the room the same if not better than the photos on the booking site. There’s not much not to like. If there was one thing, the main lights weren’t very bright and you had to rurb on another light switch to make the room brighter. Having said that, I wasn’t really in the room that much, so it didn’t bother me at all.
• Stefan (10/5): Hidden Gem - Bom's house is perfectly located for exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter, as well as the surrounding must see atractions such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, The Opera House and for instance Tran Quoc Pagoda. The house itself is very well equipped and situated in a relatively quiet street, so there is no nuisance from street noice. Tung is great host, since he is attentive, hospitable and always a quick responder if you have a question.

• Mckenzie (10/5): best private room i could ask for! - Bom’s House was one of the best places I’ve stayed my whole time in Vietnam. The room was very clean and the bed was SO comfy. I had everything provided; towels, toiletries, sandals, etc., and there’s enough space and toiletries for two people. It is quiet and peaceful, especially considering the proximity to downtown. The TV was a great plus too :) More importantly, the manager, Tung, was SO sweet, accommodating, and communicative. He messaged me beforehand to tell me everything I’d need to know, and checked in with me after my arrival to be sure there were no problems. He even gifted me a delicious hot tea when I met him in the lobby :) You couldn’t find a better private room to treat yourself with on your travels, especially for this price!! I will absolutely stay here again my next time in Hanoi. Thank you Tung🥳

• Bolima (8/5): Very good - The room is spacious. It’s clean, affordable room, the staff are friendly, and the location is convenient, everything is within walking distance. It’s not ideal for those with large luggage since there’s no elevator, and the stairs are narrow and steep. I struggled to carry my luggage upstairs, especially since it’s self-check-in with no staff around to assist. Also, the bathroom is located on the first floor, which can be inconvenient.
• Hubert (5/5): Passable - Good location and also not very noisy even though it is close to the train street. Good communication with the owner, helpfull owner. Bathroom was supposed to be private I say that the outside of the room bathroom is not a private bathroom, the info is misleading. Also the warm water was not constantly flowing (it was cold - warm water), dirty bathroom, not much of toilet paper. Room was clean but there were only two power points withe the power the rest was not working. The corridor is also very narrow and the staircase the same, very narrow. To be honest with the money I could stay somewhere else. Next time I would choose something else

We had an amazing and comfortable stay, at an excellent location! Thank you Bathroom could be better and I personally didn't like the cat in the first floor on a very very short leash 24/7 🥺

• Jenny (6/5): A bunch of lies - Location, big room We booked this accommodation for the amenities listed in the ad: private bathroom, bidet, terrace/patio and city view. None of these things are actually there. The worst thing was the bathroom: it wasn't clean at all and it stayed dirty for the last two days with other people's hair in the shower. Loud music all day until 11pm. When we complained about the price and the missing amenities asking for a discount, the owner took off 58.000 (1.30€) and told us that we could leave if unhappy about the place. Also, the ad says that the languages spoken there are several, but the owner did not understand when we asked for toilet paper. Very hard mattress, too. When we checked out today there was someone behind our door who rapidly went downstairs when we opened the door - a bit creepy. Not to mention the poor cat always kept on a leash tightened to a table day and night. The poor thing also smelled a bit, but clearly not his fault. We've been travelling around Asia for the last 40 days and this has been so far the most expensive accommodation.

• Martin (6/5): Pleasent, but i wouldn’t stay again. - Location was good, close to anything you need and a short walk to the lake. Good size room. Clean & comfortable. The description says city views which is doesn’t have. Even on the roof terrace you are between taller buildings. The ‘private’ bathroom is not part of the room but in the stair way. So anyone can actually use it and it looked like someone else did while i stayed so i couldn’t leave me personal items in there. And then i have to be dressed to go out my room to use it. So i felt it was a bit overpriced for what you actually got. Also there was no mirror in the bedroom or bathroom which was pretty annoying.
