- Derek (8/5): Probably one of the best apartments we have stayed in through Booking.com. - Hosts were very good at communicating before and during holiday. Clear instructions for collecting keys from key safe including map and photos of were keysafe were. Apartment was spacious, clean and functional. Handy having 2 bathrooms. Good outdoor space on the balcony with seating. Quiet on complex, may be noisier in busy months. Swimming pool area and pool very clean with toilets and showers. Plenty of bedlinen and towels. Kitchen very well equipped. Lidl over the road for shopping (other supermarkets are available). Easy walk into town and to beaches, 13 - 15 minutes depending on your pace. Close to local bus stops. Mijas is a lovely town, many restaurants and bars. Fairly spread out so make sure you explore, we missed quite a bit of it but we were there mainly for the beach and to relax. View from balcony was just pine trees. While this afforded some privacy it did also keep the sun off of the balcony. I think it's a shame that you have to take all rubbish from the apartment on leaving. I get recycling but general waste should be taken away by the cleaners on leaving in my opinion. The only recycling / garbage containers we found were 5 minutes down the road. We had to carry garbage plus suitcases etc when we departed.
- Stephanie (5/5): Acceptable stay - Property was in a great location, and clean, pool area is good, the complex itself is lovely kept clean and tidy Property is very very basic! The apartment needs painting and a bit of tlc the sofa needs replacing has these cheap covers over the cushions and it’s ugly, makes it look horrible when you walk into the living area. no toaster, no safe. You get 2 towels pp which is a tiny little one and a small bath towel no extras so this is a pain as you have to constantly wash them! No extra bed linen so again have to keep washing and drying them. Asked for late check out was told would be €60, then told 3 days before we can’t have one as it’s full! Nowhere to store suitcases so if you book this property make sure your flights are early as you have nowhere to go and have to be out by 10am! The people that manage the property take 1-3 days to reply which isn’t very good!
