• Teodor (1/5): BIGGEST SCAM EVER - THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER! DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked this 3 months ago when it had only good reviews. Ruined our vacation from day one. First of all the adress is not displayed to you even after you pay on booking. On arrival, the owner did not give us the adress untill we paid the city tax, which was, of course, bigger than what Booking was displaying on the reservation. After paying, we arrived at the room. This was a small room on floor -1, with a high window that was not closing so you could hear every step and every car on the street. The private bathroom advertised was very private: directly in the room, with a glass wall so you could see from the bed the toilet. But I am just arriving at the best part: the room had mold in it, which they probably tried to clean with bleach. After half an hour of staying there we were already feeling dizzy. When I wrote the owner to complained I was informed that the pictures on booking are just "cover photos" and that if we don't like it we can leave. He was even eager for us to leave as soon as possible with promises of refund, but when I requested the refund of booking he refused to accept it. Of course, we found another stay last minute instead of getting sick in that room, loosing over 400 euros in the process, because no one from Booking is responding and can help with this unless the owner accepts the refund, which he never will, according to the reviews with the same story as ours this property had acummulated in the last 2 months. So just don't book here, for your own good.
• Anonymous (1/5): Very very bad - Nothing. The room was in the basement which was not mentioned while booking. The AC was not working and it was very hot in the room and no proper ventilation. The sheets were smelling and no proper amenities. The bathroom inside the room had see through glass and it was very inconvenient. Water was spilling everywhere while showering except on our body.

• Deborah (1/5): SCAM SCAM SCAM - Nothing Avoid – FAKE listing, terrible room, and aggressive host. Original booking (Room Camilla 46, 18–22 May) was cancelled after the host claimed it was double-booked and blamed Booking.com. He insisted we rebook for new dates and pay more, even though it was his error. On arrival, the host messaged via WhatsApp and told us the room wasn’t ready. We were allowed to drop our case off and shown to a dark, basement-level room that looked nothing like the advertised photos. The bathroom was inside the room, only separated by a clear plastic shower door with a huge open gap—zero privacy. We were told the nicer room from the advert “costs more” and there was no breakfast, despite being listed as a B&B. When we raised concerns, the host became aggressive and rude, told us we could leave the keys and go. He then hung up on us. We had no option but to stay as Rome was full (pope's inaugural speech weekend) and everything else was unaffordable. The room itself was awful: Ant-like bugs crawling constantly in the room Plumbing dodgy, every time had a shower the front door became flooded Threadbare, bleach-stained towels 1 toilet roll, 2 people, 4 night stay=problem! No wardrobe, bidet, bathrobe, kitchen area, coffee-making facilities, or seating—as advertised TV only usable with personal logins (Prime/Disney) Noisy due to window not closing properly Skirting boards and walls were grubby During our stay, I investigated and found the advertised images are from a different Airbnb property in Rome see link https://www.airbnb.com.br/rooms/797730788518548856?source_impression_id=p3_1747905749_P3OaGXtsAaV2TYdi and also reused on another Booking.com listing (La Farina RooMs). Other guests have reported exactly the same bait-and-switch, with the same excuse of double booking and demands for more money. Another guest, I have since found, also had the same basement feedback and was given a false excuse of miscommunication. This property is a scam

• Bartos (5/5): I was disappointed because this was not what I expected based on the photos and the equipment list. - The room has just been renovated, nicely painted walls, new lights and fixtures in the bathroom. Clean room. The metro station was close. Serious flaws: 1) Only a few of the pictures shown are of the room itself. The pictures are enlarged, as the total area of ​​the room is 11-12 square meters. If there is a picture with a window and a desk in the picture, I assume that there is a window and a desk in the room. There was neither. I was shocked when they led us down to the basement, where this small room was. 2) The equipment is actually much less than what the accommodation provider states. There is no: dining area, kettle, tea and coffee maker, kitchen equipment, bathtub, kettle, bathrobe, slippers, arrival table. There is no wardrobe. That's a lot of things that are not there. That's why we chose this accommodation, hoping that they would have them. That's why we paid the accommodation fee, probably that's why it's included in the price. I feel cheated!!! 3) Check-in was very complicated and time-consuming after a tiring flight. The booking.com email system is not enough, the mobile phone call is not enough, the SMS, the viber are not enough... you have to download whatsapp. Why??? He didn't respond to the whatsapp call, we wrote when we would arrive, no one was there. Then it turned out that he had an agent there, but why didn't he call him? To come out, his guest arrived, to welcome them. That's not what happened, we got in after 40 minutes of waiting. 4) The bathroom, 2*2 meters in size, was separated from the room by a new glass wall. This is good for those who do their small and big things at home with the toilet door open in front of each other! But then they should write that this room is only for them. Those who represent this. We have to do our work from behind a glass panel that is open in a 1 meter strip at the top. We have to send the other person out of the room if we don't want them there. Is this normal?? 5) There is no wardrobe, only two bedside tables in the room.
