• SERGEI (3/5): Вахтовые условия - Комната была более свежей по ремонту, чем ванна. Хозяин всегда был на связи. Невыносимо шумно от большой дороги под окнами и моста. Уснуть невозможно, и днём и ночью одинаково ужасно. Двери балкона с огромными щелями, из-за этого дополнительный шум и прохлада от кондиционера уходила на улицу, комната была недостаточно охлаждена. Душевая и Лейка душа- потрепана временем, через верхнюю дырку в раковине вода спускалась на пол. Постельное белье - катышки от стирки и оно из полиэстера, когда жара - это худший вариант для сна. Сложный и непривлекательный вход с кодами и через парикмахерскую, где не очень чисто. Лифта нет, подъем с чемоданами на третий этаж.
• Agnieszka (5/5): - Duża przestrzeń. Łazienka nie nadaje się do użycia - stara armatura, brudno, zatęchłe ręczniki. Średnia lokalizacja. Bardzo głośno - odgłosy z ulicy słyszalne całą noc. Jeżeli ktoś szuka budżetowego zakwaterowania może być zadowolony. My zmieniliśmy miejsce po pierwszej nocy.

Selvbetjening, men kommunikasjon med utleier via app var grei. Adkomst via frisørsalong/ rulleport og opp trapp er spesiell. Balkong ikke brukbar på grunn av kjøleaggregater. Generelt noe slitent inntrykk.

• Riccardo (5/5): Renovierungsbedürftig - Es ist sehr gut gelegen, man ist schnell in der City und der Besitzer hat uns ermöglicht erst den nächsten Tag zu zahlen, da wir noch kein Bargeld hatten. Das Bad war ist einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Es hat alles funktioniert aber muss dringend renoviert werden. Die Bilder entsprechen eher einem Zustand von vor 5 Jahren. Auch ist es sehr laut, da es genau am der Hauptstraße liegt. Dafür ziehe ich aber keine Sterne ab, da wir das vorher wussten.

Владелец разрешил нам оставить у него чемодан на хранение, который принесли нам в номер, на обратном пути! Все чисто, в номере есть все необходимое как для короткой остановки, так и для длительной. Владелец, всегда на связи, во всем помогает, подсказывает! Это лучшее соотношение цена-качество еще и в центре👍
• Thu (7/5): - Phòng rất sạch sẽ, tiện nghi tốt, máy giặt có chế độ sấy. Chủ nhiệt tình Ga giường bị cũ, sờn, nên thay loại mới. Không có thang máy, xách hành lý khá nặng đi thang bộ, không có chỗ để xe máy nếu thuê xe đi nhiều ngày.

• David (8/5): Worth considering for proximity to main attractions. - Good comms and instructions from our host. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Didn't cook as there were good restaurants nearby, kettle and refrigerator worked. Good price for a studio in this area. Like most accommodation within HCM, this accommodation suffers from street noise, though much of it is attenuated by a second patio door and its height above street level.

• Christina (6/5): Comfy and spacious in great location, could be cleaner. - It's alright as a base in a very central location, the bed was comfortable and the room spacious. Communication with the host was smooth. It really needs a deep clean as well as more attention overall. The sponge by the sink had hairs on it, as did the shower. The walls are full of stains, especially in he bathroom.
• Jan (9/5): - The accommodation was very good. Big, clean and in the center. I didn't meet Bin (the owner) in person this time (as I came very late) but the instructions for self check-in were precise and the amount of other useful information he provided was stunning. He was also very caring and offered help in many aspects of my trip. It is not 5 stars hotel but the price/value ratio is exceptional. The street is a bit noisy but if you close the double door to the balcony it's almost silent.

Zimmer sehr schön und sehr gross, sehr gut ausgestattet sauber und sehr comfortable, preis Leistung super. 😊 Genaue Beschreibung bekommen das Tor und den Zimmerschlüssel zu bekommen bzw öffnen. Die erste Nacht lief irgendetwas schief mit den Torcode. Es war niemand zu erreichen. Wartete bis jemand auch in das Gebäude ging um reinzukommen. Am Morgen und die anderen Tage funktionierte er problemlos. Kontakt nur über WhatsApp, sehr freundlich.
• Connor (7/5): Great value for money in a very good location - It's splat bang in the middle of the city which makes it easy to access everywhere. Fantastic value for money. It had everything you need in a studio. The towels smelt damp, we asked for new ones but even they smelt damp. The aircon wasn't the most powerful. Be aware with it being so central, the noise is relentless! At the same time, for the price you can't complain

• Akshay Shrivastava (10/5): A Memorable Stay in the Heart of Ho Chi Minh City - This place is really amazing I stayed in a studio room which was pretty spacious and clean. Everything was there for use. Host is very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there for the price i paid it's worth I would say. The only downside you can see is there is no elevator and you have to pass a salon to go upside which is not bad though

• Lara (9/5): Good location and great shower pressure - Host was very attentive and the accommodation was clean and well located. Bathroom could be updated a little but was fine. The shower was REALLY good with a strong water pressure. AC in room and washing facilities etc. Would book this location again. There were small ants but likely due to the hot weather, so just have to make sure any food is put in the fridge/tied up.
• Daisy (6/5): Good location and value, but not 4-star quality - The location was good and walkable to all the main attractions. Most facilities were good, such as the hair dryer and having a washing machine and dryer was great. The host made sure to be there for our arrival which was nice, to show us the way in and help carry cases up the stairs (there is no lift). The videos and instructions sent via WhatsApp to get in and out, use the electronics, etc were all very useful too. The apartment was big and spacious, much bigger than hotel rooms we have stayed in over our trip. Compared to other accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City, this was good value for money. The facilities in the apartment were good, but basics were missing which you’d expect from even 3 star accommodation. For example we had no hand towels, just a bath towel each, and both the towels smelt of damp. The bedding didn’t smell freshly washed either, and there was no curtain, just a thin blind, so the apartment got light very early. It was very noisy too, appreciative this isn’t something the host can change, but would recommend you bring earplugs as there is beeping and traffic noise all night. We didn’t sleep well while staying here due to a combination of noise, light, and the bed not being super comfortable. Appreciate the host kept in touch via WhatsApp but it felt a bit much. For example, I was asked while we were out one day if we wanted them to clean the room while we were out to which I replied no. The host then asked if they could come in to collect a rice cooker while we were out. As there was no safe in the apartment this made us a bit uncomfortable. It wasn’t ideal having to deal with a lot of messages while on holiday when you’re wanting to spend time off your phone.

• Hendrik (9/5): - Tolles Zimmer im Distrikt 1. Alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Bin war zwar nur per Whatsapp verfügbar, aber er war sichtlich ums Wohlbefinden bemüht. Für den Preis echt nicht schlecht, wie auf den Fotos.. Ich hatte winzige Ameisen im Zimmer, nicht nur im Bad, sondern auch im Bett. Der Friseursalon, durch den man immer muss ist extrem unhyhienisch. Abends nach Ladenschluss läuft man durch nicht weggekehrte Haare und Kakerlaken. Der Balkon ist quasi nur zum Rauchen zu gebrauchen. Alles steht voller Wärmetauscher und anderem Gerümpel. Da sonst alles gepasst hat, habe ich nur einen Punkt abgezogen.

• Abhijit (10/5): Thank you Ho Chi Minh. - The location as well as the cleanliness of the stay. All appliances were working as expected. It would be good if a water filter can also be installed for the guests as all other expensive appliances are already available. Mr. Bin was prompt and always helpful. The noise outside but I think its ok, if you want to stay in the city in the centre you can't expect silence. But later at night afte 12am it was all quiet so not much of a problem.

• Ammy Yusnida Binti (6/5): Could Be Great with a Bit More Care and Maintenance - The location. There are a lot of coffee shops nearby. If you like to cook simple meals, there is a very nice grocery store across the road with a variety of vegetables. Near the city attraction. Within walking distance. I think the owner should pay attention to some small issues but sometimes can bring discomfort if the owner fails to attend to this small issue. Kitchen: The sink is not properly drained. Not totally blocked. But the water was super slow to drain out. We don't complain about this. We tried to be considerate not to complain about small little issues. Toilet: Every time people check out, the cleaner should clean the floor trap to ensure no hair blocking on the drain. Again, the water is super slow to drain out. Yes, after we complain, staff attend to the issue. But, it's very tedious to wait for the staff. Payment: I just don't like that I need to pay in cash. And I need to leave the money in the key locker. I need to wait for the cash balance after the staff collects the money later. So weird. It's like I'm doing an illegal transaction. Cups and utensils: Only have one set. I think no harm in providing extra. Staircase cleanliness: I'm not sure, in Vietnam, the staircase belongs to which unit since the building layout is so confusing. The staircase area is messy. So many little things along the staircase. Balcony: I think the balcony has a lot of potential. But the owner treats it like storage to store broken aircond compressor. Yes, you can still get daylight for your room. But you cannot actually enjoy the balcony.

• Marine (10/5): Parfait. - L’appartement est un vrai bijou. Très confortable, situé dans un quartier où il y à pleins de cafés et de restos. Il y a de quoi cuisiner, faire des machines et profiter d’une vue magnifique ambiance jungle dans la ville. Binh, l’hôte est très réactif et présent si on a des questions. Un peu bruyant mais si vous restez à Saigon c’est la ville donc ça sera partout pareil.

• Paul (8/5): Great unit but know what to expect. - Centrally located. Had most amenities to be self contained. Smart TV. Large room. The instructions and communication from the owner were excellent. Excellent air conditioning. If you researched as I did you'll know where it's located...noise is an issue. It's not karaoke, bars or dogs barking, but the traffic noise is noticeable. There's double glazing (of sorts) but it is noisy...light sleepers need not apply. Entry is through a hair salon and whilst the staff aren't hostile, they certainly aren't welcoming. No elevator...a couple of flights of stairs. My room had a balcony but it wasn't really usable except to dry clothes as it has 4 A/C systems on it and it's like an air fryer... Bed is typically firm.
• Kiwan (10/5): I will definitely stay here again when I travel to HCM. - Very close to everything. It's either short Grab ride away or you can walk to major streets and markets within 15 minutes. Studio was spacious, great AC + washer. The host was very assuring on whether if I was satisfied and responsive. The room needs to take 4 flights of stairs and it could get a little loud at mornings, but the room is very worth it.
• Margaret (9/5): We enjoyed our stay - This property has everything you need for a stay in Ho Chi Minh City. It is within walking distance of all the major attractions. Bin was most helpful and always responsive to any questions and gave clear instructions. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it as a comfortable, clean and central accommodation . The only minor downside for us was having to walk through the hair salon to get to the room. They were lovely, but we felt like we were intruding on their business space.
• Joshua (8/5): Had a very good and comfortable 8-day stay here exploring the city and doing a bit of work remotely, I definitely recomm - Fantastic location, very clean and comfortable, quite spacious for a studio, helpful host, smooth checkin and checkout I stayed in the studio, there is only one small window with not much of a view so the room can feel a little boxed in. You have to go through a hair salon to get to the property so it can feel awkward getting in and out but it’s not a big deal

On night one we had issues with the aircon, this was quickly fixed with a new aircon system installed on day 2. Good size apartment. You have to enter the property through a hairdresser, this is okay during the day when it is open. However at night when closed you have to wait for the shutters to open/close and there were many cockroaches in the hairdressers (not apartment, that was very clean)

• Rafael (8/5): Bin made our stay! - Bin was incredible - super responsive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. He made sure our time in Saigon was smooth and enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were seamless with easy self check-in, and all the info provided was super clear. The location is great too, right near District 1, central and close to sights and great cafes. Plus, they offer a coffee delivery service which was a lovely touch! As it’s on a busy street, there can be a bit of city noise during peak times (which is understandable in District 1), but the fan creates a pleasant background noise inside the apartment that really helps.

Great location. We could leave our luggage when we arrived early in the morning. An additional advantage is the washing machine, fridge and kitchen, which we did not use. The bed is very comfortable. At the end of the trip in Vietnam we wanted to rent this place again but it was already booked. We recommend renting scooters from a friend of the owner of the property

Upon request the host brought in an extra matress but just something to be aware of when travelling in a group of more than two people.

• James (8/5): Nice clean apartment, well-furnished for a longer stay, with helpful and friendly staff. - Calmette Street is a few blocks away from the heart of the intensive tourist district around Pham Ngu Lao, so there is a more local feel to the neighborhood. The apartment was well furnished with bathroom and kitchen, with dishes, sink, flatware, microwave, and refrigerator. Plus it had a clothes washer/dryer that worked well. Staff, though not based on-site, are super responsive and friendly. I also met them as they were finishing cleaning (I was arriving early).
• Sanna (7/5): A very good location, an ordinary room - for a good price. - We chose this place because of the good location - you could walk anywhere from there. It was a lively street, day and night. The place was spacious. There is possibility to cook your food and coffee but you don't really use this option as the city is full of nice cafes and restaurants for all prices. There was no hot water in the shower and the entrance at night through the closed metal door of a hair salon was a bit gloomy. In reality the place didn't look as cosy or stylish as in the pics.

• Dan (9/5): Nice studio in HCMC - Large size studio (for Vietnam). Well situated in District 1. Plenty of restaurants and grocery shops around it. Bathroom was good, just a bigger sink and a small cabinet to put our stuff would have been appreciated.
• Natalie (7/5): Great! - It was a good location and lovely people running the apartments, very helpful and gave us lots of good recommendations! No tea and coffee included but there is plenty of coffee and tea cafes around so not a big issue! You go through the hairdressers to access the flats, however i got my hair done here and it was very good would also recommend!
• Pramit (9/5): Great value apartment at the heart of HCM - Nice little apartment located on the main street. There are several eateries within walkable distance. Ben thanh market and opera house is about a kilometer away. The studio apartment has everything from fridge, microwave and washing machine so it was pretty self sufficient. The host is friendly and accommodating. The entrance is through a hair salon which is not related to the apartment. So if you are entering/exiting at night, when the salon is closed, it can be quite dark. You'll have to open and close the shutter(automatic) to the main entrance. Also, the air con doesn't sufficiently cool the room, if you keep the partition door to the kitchen, open.

• Khang (10/5): Comfortable stay in central D1 - Central location. The room was spacious and had everything you need. The view from the balcony was nice too. The staff was super helpful, always proactively took good care of the room and the guests. Overall my time here was very comfortable. Highly recommended!

• Zsuzsa (9/5): Great stay, great location - Convenient location, well equipped apartment, staff has been supernice and helpful. I couldn't make the TV work, but to be honest I didn't try too hard and I wasn't too fussed about it either.
