Large bedrooms with plenty of space luggage, well fitted out kitchen with a lovely welcome gift. Easy walk to eateries and beach and communication was great with host. Thanks for the food recommendations! That Fresh Fish Place was so good.

Rooms were tidy and there was plenty of amenity for us to stay comfortably. I have no concerns everything was great for our stay

• Geoffrey (10/5): Highly recommended! - My daughter and I were extremely pleased with the house overall. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was supplied. Communication was great from Ben and Alyssia and they provided all the information I needed in a timely manner before arriving. It was also a short walk/drive into the Port Lincoln shops. Nothing to report.

• Trish (5/5): Disappointing - The location , ease of access to property were great . It had a good layout & modern well equipped kitchen . Hosts were very accommodating with prompt, efficient communication. Beds were quite comfortable It definitely has the " potential" to be a wonderful place to stay Unfortunately it was not what I / we were expecting. at all . Several things needed replacing or fixing . The oven did not work ( only elements on top) but frustrating when you've planned to cook your dinner . BBQ was filthy . Lounge suite was broken which meant only 1 person could actually sit on it properly . Cushions , rugs & blankets etc could do with a clean / wash or replacing. Also exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work at all and bathroom window would not stay open to let steam out .

• Jean (7/5): Enjoyed the stay except for the dog hair. - Close to Pt Lincoln, big rooms, all appliances in good working order. Spacious and clean and tidy. Have stayed before, unfortunately I had to clean dog hair off the lounge. I am allergic to dog hair and I believe this place has a no dog policy.

The beds were super comfy. The cooking facilities were excellent and a great barbecue. The house was so tastefully decorated and felt so welcoming. The hosts were very quick to respond when we had a small problem with the key. This would be a great little house for someone with children. No complaints at all

• Faylene (7/5): An enjoyable visit to Port Lincoln with the house being a convenient place to return to! - The house was well equipped, mainly the kitchen. The rooms were all a decent size but heating them was not so easy. Parking was on site and easy, convenient. A car was necessary to take advantage of all the beauty of Port Lincoln. The bathroom was poorly renovated. The shower over the bath meant it was not safe to access. No handrails or shower mat also added to the lack of safety. (My mother, fit and able, was unable to have a shower.) same for the toilet - no handrails. Generally, it could have been renovated with all people in mind.

Appreciated the washing machine to catch up on washing, Bed was comfortable. Portable heaters for bedroom were just adequate, AC in living area was good. Close to town, excellent bakery just down the road and great walk along foreshore and port. Hosts dealt with an issue very promptly and communication for booking and access was excellent. An exhaust fan above stove would be a good addition

• Fiona (7/5): Good - It felt very homely. Well equipped kitchen, good quality linen, towels etc. Beautifully presented. The beds were comfortable per se` Double beds and glass screen on bath. I feel queen beds at a minimum would be much more comfortable. Double beds are quite small for tallish couples to share. Removing the glass screen from the bath will prevent an accident/injury.

The weather was cold but the house warmed up quickly. I wish I could have stayed longer. I will look for availability of this property in the future, when I next come to Port Lincoln. • Joanne (6/5): Cute house but bathroom is poor. - A beautiful little house, well stocked and easy access/ location. I would recommend that the owners come and try the shower for themselves, it's not great. A new shower head and taps would be an easy fix to a very ordinary shower experience. Aside from the dislike of the shower, after spending a day traveling, we arrived to find no hot water. We contacted the owners and were told it had been fixed that day and there should be hot water by the morning. There was no hot water in the morning. We finally got showers on our second night. We have been given an apology for the inconvenience but left feeling disappointed and 5 days later still no offer for compensation. Not the great holiday that we have been looking forward to!
• Huey (4/5): dissappointing - Very convenient location right up the street from the main town. Very convenient location, but then again, Port Lincoln is a small town. Everywhere is relatively easy to access. House actually presents fairly well, like a studio set. The house looks like a studio set - in that it looks very picturesque but when you look closer, the whole house doesn't function all that well. For starters, cleanliness was a main issue with the place. It is clear that the hosts of the place outsourced all of their cleaning to the locals and hardly ever check on the house. Dust can be found on all the bedroom ceiling fans, Washing machine is caked with grime, kettle has obvious calcite deposits leftover from the previous guests, stove has no extractor exhaust to draw out anything you cook. Like I said, presents well, but functionally sub par. What frustrates us more is when these issues were raised to the hosts, it was met with a nonchalant attitude. Forget about the asthma attacks and the rush to the pharmacist. Forget about washing your clothes.

Could do with a dryer as there is a washing machine. Larger cooking pots would be useful along with heaters for the other bedrooms, only main had a portable oil heater.
