As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a nonrefundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a nonrefundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival. Refunds are determined by cancellation policies, and in addition, SPCR charges a 5% cancellation fee over the total booking amount or a minimum of USD 75 and added 13%, plus any applicable merchant fees. Vickisfbayarea (7/5): Comfortable condo with great view, but picking up keys from another location was a huge hassle - Condo was spacious and comfortable, but had some cosmetic wear and tear and only one burner seemed to work correctly on the stove top. The screened balcony looks out to the distant ocean over the trees was the outstanding feature. The pool area overlooked the town and had a great view towards the mountains and ocean. Unfortunately the road up to the condo is very steep and the parking space is extremely small and tight to turn and maneuver a car into. It was so difficult that we didn't use the car as often as we would have liked because the parking space was so hard to park in. We met a few nice folks who were condo owners and they were very pleasant and friendly. You can only pick up keys to the condo at their office during their office hours. We stated the time we would pick up the keys when we made the reservation and then again the day before our arrival. But no one was in their office during their stated business hours. We desperately tried to call any number associated with the company but only got voice mails. Finally someone showed up 45 minutes later and we ultimately did get the keys, after a long stressful wait. A lock box for the keys could prevent these problems. When you book this place your messages in box will be flooded with endless sales pitches for tours, etc. that make it difficult to just have to read any actual important info pertinent to our stay. There were numerous rules and extra fees that are not disclosed until after you book. You have only two mandatory options to either buy damage insurance or pay a deposit that has a non-refundable "administration" fee.
Gerald (10/5): Recommended. Great location and views. Short walk to a great coffee shop and the beach. - Great view. Clean home. Nice location. The view from the pool was fantastic!! Well stocked kitchen. Nice, relaxing living room and outdoor patio with a view. Access to keys was a bit tricky. Had to call the office to get a new code for the lock box. Not a major issue.
