- Miranda (1/5): Arrived and it was already occupied - The area seemed nice and it’s convenient to Disney. We didn’t get to stay. We arrived and it was already occupied. The owner says that Booking.com accepted 5 different reservations (evacuation for Hurricane Milton). We were sent away with nowhere to stay. Reaching out to the owner after was quite unhelpful. Not rude, just unhelpful. We now wait 7-12 days to get our nearly $800 back. The only upside, Booking.com’s support was fairly helpful after the fact. But not having somewhere to stay for a hurricane sucked real bad.
