- Helene (6/5): What took the stay from average to well above, was its best asset - Kat, the caretaker. - 1. The calm, competent, unflustered & helpful presence of Kat, the caretaker. She was wonderful & I told her so, when I informed her about the cockroaches. I'm not a shrinking violet & neither was she. She offered to re-locate me but I was busy & chose to stay where I was. We dealt with the situation in the short term, while Kat immediately advised the owners of the situation & what would be needed to fix it.
2. Convenience to multiple locations of my work. Although the Unit was spotlessly clean in every other way, the kitchen in particular, was infested with cockroaches.
- Veronica (4/5): - Very disappointing. Room was double booked with the host allowing a late check out so we arrived and the room had people in it. Room had a smell to it and had cockroaches. Good location, just disappointing arrival and smell.
- Greeta (3/5): Horrible - Position No mirror in bathroom, poor aircon, none in bedroom, cockroaches running around. Flyscreen torn off front fly wire door.
- Joyce (7/5): Convenient location, reasonable value for money. - The location is excellent - very close to town and main roads, but not close enough to be a noise nuisance. The cleaner waited for me as my unit had been changed. She was very helpful and concerned. The washing machine, iron and huge TV were pluses. 8 units in the block and it appears they are all available for short term rental. Some budget improvements have been made - cheap wardrobe units which have already been damaged. The 2 burner hotplate was a bit weird. I bought some carpet cleaner to clean the worst of the sofa and carpet smells. Steam cleaning of carpets and sofas is overdue. I understand that you might expect children to be guests in a 2 bedroomed unit but I don't understand why parents don't consider the next users and clean up after their children who spill things on carpets and furniture. Would have liked a bedside lamp.
