• Nadine (6/5): Spoke to the owner and stated that with improvement to cleanliness, we would consider staying again. - The location was great. The host was lovely. The place was easily accessible, and the host met us there and assisted with the check-in. The set up of the accommodation was good. Restaurants and places of interest were good. There was evidence that the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned and the shower floor was dirty. The second bedroom sheets appeared not clean as there was evidence of hair in between the sheets and the sheets were stained. Parking was a little difficult.

• Wendy (9/5): Efficient use of space in a a restored historic building. Had everything for a short stay. Good view - Needed a few more available instructions on streaming system as we're cable folks but could have figured it out. The wifi info is cute but no idea where it was. Most places have online or written info for easy transition. Needs facecloths in the bathroom. Laundry still in dryer from previous occupancy. Bed was too soft for us and in a perfect world the couch is very low and hard to get up from. Heads up for those who drive, it is close to Winnipeg cultural events facilities and parking is impossible to find if you are arriving later on those evenings. Check out the new Winnipeg parking app, which once figured out was great.

• Bertille (10/5): Best Airbnb I’ve ever booked :) - Best airbnb I’ve ever booked! Very cozy and comfortable airbnb. Record player and projector for entertainment. Warm despite it being -40 outside! We couldn’t find a dishwasher tablet?
• Andrew (9/5): A stylish, comfortable, and high quality place to stay in a fantastic location. - The apartment was very comfortable, stylish, with great exposed brick and high ceilings, and was well equipped with TV, projector and screen, kitchen and well stocked coffee station. The only downside was that there is no sound insulation from the upstairs neighbours, so without using earplugs I was kept up a bit later on some nights and awoken in some mornings a bit earlier that I'd like to be.
• Stephen (10/5): Exceptional location and well-appointed accommodation. - We love the location! Close to the theatres, concert hall and museum. Close enough to the hospital to make my appointment there. Enjoyed a theatre performance last night. The condo is beautiful, well-appointed, and clean! There are several excellent restaurants in the area, and Ashdown Market nearby to pick up a few groceries. This is a really uniquely designed place to stay, with vintage records and a record player, tv, and screen with projector. Dishwasher, stove, fridge, plates, utensils, cooking utensils, pots and pans. Cute coffee bar. All in all, a very enjoyable stay for our two nights here in Winnipeg, and will likely return on other visits. Most of all, we loved that the place is pet friendly and allowed for a little reunion with my brother's and my small doggies. The proprietor was very helpful and available to answer any questions on WhatsApp, and very kindly allowed us a late afternoon checkout to accommodate us with our flights. There is nothing that we didn't like. I would highly recommend staying here!

• Burzynski (9/5): Great location - Great location downtown, easy to walk to restaurants, river, museums and hockey games. Clean and furnished 2 bedroom. Enjoyed the projector to watch shows, record player and candles. Previous reviews commented on variety of coffee options. I do love my coffee and looked forward to this. While there were devices for pour over and French press, there were no grounds. 2 Keurig pods were provided for 3 night stay. I asked for more but was directed to the instant coffee grounds. Not the end of the world, I bought coffee elsewhere.

Could have used more parking pointers as there seem to be a dozen different companies with different log-ins for parking in Winnipeg. Also, the green walls are much prettier than the picture! Lots of nice extras in the kitchen, very well appointed and no less than 3 ways to make coffee! (such a relief for the no-keurig crew, there was a choice of French press or automatic drip.) Great shower with all supplies at hand. The AC is in the main room only so you need to leave bedroom doors open when it's hot, not a big deal for us.

• Jacquie (10/5): Can confirm, this property is exceptional! They’ve thought of everything. - This place is so beautiful! It looks like one of those Instagram condos. It is exceptionally clean which made me feel much better about the cleaning fee which did put me off a bit at first. It is so peaceful and tastefully decorated with unique touches such as the Victrola record player and a few classic records to choose from and the beverage bar that includes an assortment of tea, coffee as well as a French press, Kuerig, tea press ans and a smoothie maker. The kitchen is also super well equipped with excellent cookware and dishes. There is huge rainfall shower with added hand held. There are an abundance of towels and facecloths. All the necessary toiletries and a nice blow dryer. Loved the candle, the coasters to put your coffee on the wicker coffee table. There were so many nice little touches. The owner was super friendly and always answered his phone. He never made us feel we were bothering him if we had a question. We loved that it didn’t feel so restrictive like a lot of private properties do. There’s just a flat cleaning fee but no giant list of things you’re supposed to also do in addition. It made for a nice peaceful stay. There are two bedrooms so if you want to escape snoring you can 🙂 and the bed/pillows were like sleeping on a cloud! I loved that there were enough hangers in the coat rack which was a nice touch, there’s even a shelf for hats etc on it. The location is so excellent with wonderful restaurants just steps away. We tried the Pumphouse and was that ever lovely and it was so close. Best of all it was pet friendly. I’m certainly I’m forgetting something but obviously we really enjoyed staying here. We were super nervous about this booking because the property was new and only had one exceptional review but we are so happy we took this leap of faith. You can hear other people’s condos quite well but luckily there was nothing crazy going on so it was still peaceful. You just need to be mindful that other people can probably hear you. Would have liked some coffee mate, maybe there was some and we just didn’t see it.
