Guest Reviews
- Hasna (1/5): Do not stay here. - The only good thing about this apartment was its location, but even that doesn’t justify for everything else.. First, our arrival was marked by the host giving our taxi driver a verbal smackdown because he couldn’t find the secret entrance to this dungeon. Not our fault we didn’t have a treasure map and speak the local tongue!
Walking into the building was like stepping into a horror movie set. The stench was a mix of trash and forgotten leftovers. The apartment was in the basement, which seemed to double as the local landfill. Trash everywhere! And as a special bonus, the place was an insect convention center. Bugs of all kinds partying. Sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite. Seriously.
The AC units were mere wall decorations. Instead, we were gifted with fans from the 1970s. Oh, and the view from the smallest room? creepy and unsettling. Check out the photo for a guaranteed shudder.
The apartment itself looked like it had been cleaned by someone legally blind. Floors had a layer of grime you could plant potatoes in. Sheets were passable, but the blankets had spots that suggested they’d seen some things.
Water? Good luck. The taps offered only ice cold refreshment. Want hot water? You better like cold showers, because that’s all you get.
- Braxton (1/5): Uncomfortable and unbearable stay. - 👎🏻 Unfortunately, after a 14-hour flight, we arrived and were given a place that was uninhabitable. The photos we had seen on the page and the reality were very different, which made us very upset. Upon arrival, the house was in the basement, which had not been mentioned on the website, and the entrance was very dirty and smelled of cat urine. When we opened the door, there was a cat in the house. The air conditioners were not working, and the house was not ready for occupancy. We called the owner, who sent two people in the afternoon to fix the air conditioners, but after several hours, only one was fixed, and the other remained broken. One of the bedrooms had a very bad smell, and when we opened the window, it was full of cat feces that had not been cleaned. We have photos and videos of everything. When we arrived, we were very tired after a long flight and had to search for a new place to stay, but almost everywhere was fully booked due to holidays in Turkey, and the available places were very expensive. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to stay there, and we were all very uncomfortable.
