- Mahmoud (4/5): Disappointing - The pillow The bathroom, the room cleanness, lots of flying ants, no toilet paper, far away location
- Roma (1/5): Bad - The owner doesn’t speak English at all and won’t say even hello, 0 welcoming, AND they don’t change bad sheets!!! They just remove hair with sticky roll… that’s terrible… I noticed it when I was leaving… the worst hostel in my life
- George (10/5): Very reasonable price with friendly hosts and a hot shower! - Very friendly hosts who made me feel welcome! I enjoyed my stay; it was exactly as I wanted - hot water always worked which was perfect for the winter weather! I will be returning to stay here on my next trip to Hanoi!

- Camila (1/5): Nice owner. Worst hostel - It's close to the international hospital, that's why we went to this hostel. The owner is nice. It's nothing like the photos. It's super dirty, there was a small cockroach on my bed. The toilet and bathroom were disgusting. There's a rooftop, but nothing special. It's hard to find. I found it because I followed the directions from a guy here on the reviews. If you check out early in the morning be sure to tell them in advance, otherwise all doors will be locked.
- David (7/5): Nice old guy. Hard to find. Convenient for giap bat (2.5km) - Good price. Comfortable bed. Close to bus and train. Nice man at reception. Bit hard to find. As it is not correct on booking map. Go further down the alley on the right hand side (47 D. Hoang mai i think) keep an eye out for “Time Hair salon” the hostel is above this business (hostel is not affiliated with the salon, but you have to walk through it to get to the hostel stairs) .Google maps is closer… but still incorrect. The shop was shut when i arrived. So either arrive in business hours or bang on the shutters like i did ^^. (Ps be careful who you ask for directions, as a group of people on the last bend, deliberately told me the wrong directions, one even offered to take me there … wherever that was ..)
- Karadi (10/5): Exceptional - Easy and friendly. I just needed a place to sleep while on a journey so this was perfect for me.
- Ameliya (7/5): Good price hostel with helpful staff/owner - Good price, helpful owner/staff, full bright personal lamp There isn’t exhaus fan in the dorm room level 3, so sometimes bit smelly from guests, the blanket could be more thick as real blancket, the panel shower in bathroom level 3 could be repair, the personal fan and personal curtain could be cleaned, the edge of the stair of top bunk bed is sharp and bit small. Need careful when you go up/ down
- Nattha (8/5): Worthy for price - Quite far from city, I have to take Grab bike to get there but it’s okay because it’s not far from southern bus station which I have to go the next day. All facilities was there you can use. A/C was nice and there was a fan on every bed. Bed was comfy so it’s worthy for the price this cheap. The only thing I don’t like is my bed was not clean like there was someone checkout before me and then give bed to me right away, not sure about this but the bed seems a little bit old.
- Gomonov (10/5): Exceptional - awesome hostel
- Soe (9/5): Superb -
- Brandon (1/5): I got there after a long day and showed my booking number. They said it was full. - I got there after a long day and showed my booking number. They said it was full. I got there after a long day and showed my booking number. They said it was full.
- Ravi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ismail (4/5): Do not recommend it - Good mattress, hot shower and a drinking water. It was smelly, not clean and noisy.
- Lee (8/5): Very good - Bathroom need clean up and add more facilities.
- Robertas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shanjie (5/5): Passable - The location is OK The room smelled, I had a haircut downstairs, and the wifi signal on the fourth floor was not very good. The bed was not clean and comfortable enough, and the bathroom was in average condition.
- Hua (7/5): Good - cheap price, cleaness it should have thicker blanket in cold weather
- Karol (8/5): Very good - Price is very low. Location is close to a bus stop. A fan over every bed. Location is a little bit far from the city center (but it's not a problem, because it has a good bus connection). Air-conditioner didn't work while I have been there. Owners don't speak English, but they know how to use translator app. The gate is closed at night, but it's not a problem, because you can just use the bell, if needed.
- Diu (6/5): Not so good - Reasonable cost Not clean, upper of a salon
The smell of smoke at 2nd is very strong
No air conditioner
- Le (8/5): Very good -

- Wui (7/5): Fair and cheap way to stay a night in Hanoi, especially when you do not expect to stay long - cheapest in hanoi. there is bus 36 travel between the hostel and hoan kiem lake. need to walk rocky roads to get in. also the ground floor is a hair salon and I did not expect that the hostel was on the first floor so you need to go inside the hair salon first in order to reach the entrance to the hostel...And of course you need to climb a few flight of stairs to get into the room as you are in the old town where the buildings do not have lifts.
- Whereedwardsleeps (7/5): cheap but not a great night - Very comfy bed with a curtain, light and personal fan in every bunk bed due to the price this place attracts a type of guest who is very bad. one guy was having a very loud phone call from 6am, the room smelt of smoke, you need to go through a hair dressers to get to the hostel which is strange. very far away from anything in the city if you don't have a bike
- Denis (8/5): Very good -
- Aritrasdr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (1/5): wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone - there was very dirty and especially the bathroom was gross.
to enter the hostel you had to walk through a hair salon and a private home with the hosts sleeping on the floor - a very uncomfortable situation. the neighbourhood is not very nice and we didn’t feel safe
- Elliot (2/5): Very poor -
- Marlene (4/5): Would not stay again - To be honest, the owner was friendly. But that‘s it. - There is no common area AT ALL.
- You have to walk through a hair salon which was extremely weird.
- The room was dirty and the bathroom was gross (was maybe the roommates fault)
- The location is not good, very far away from the center.
- I don't know why but there were old creepy men and disrespectful men sleeping in the dorm. As a girl alone without my partner I would have never stayed there. They had no manners at all. As a hostel owner I would definitely have an eye on who stays at my place.
- Faye (5/5): Wouldn't recommend - Mattress was really comfy and it had hot water You have to walk into the guys house to get to the room. He doesn't speak a word of English and is very rude and the property is not sign posted.
- Apolline (8/5): Very good - This hostel is conveniently located if you need to stay a bit outside of Hanoï city center traffic.
The mattresses are wide, thick and confortable and you have a privacy curtain, electric plugs, a fan, a light and a locker for each bed.
Decent bathroom with hot water.
Many small food options around at better prices than in the city center.
Thong, the host, makes sure your bike is safe for the night if you travel by bike. There is no parking but you hace few spots to park just by the hostel building. Make sure you have Google translate installed to communicate with him.
NB : The first floor is a hairdresser salon, the hostel is in the upper floors and there is no commun area, except maybe the roof.
