Guest Reviews
- Tracie (9/5): Beautiful place in a great location. Very responsive host. It was so cosy and relaxing. Wish we could have stayed the en - Gorgeous, funky little apartment. Beautiful city views. 5 minute walk to the main strip for cafes, groceries and the Rosemount hotel. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed and lounge suite. Brilliant alfresco to relax with a cuppa or drink and a book. Only one reverse cycle aircon which is in the main living area. Worked well, but didn’t heat the bedroom. I would probably recommend a warmer bed cover or extra blanket for the coming winter months.
- Carolyn (7/5): - Location and great customer service Noisy due to the wind blowing the plastic curtain.
- Tina (10/5): “Fantastic place to stay, felt like a home away from home. - Lovely apartment. Very clean, had everything we needed. Easy check in. Great location for access to eateries and close to the city. Peaceful quiet street.
- Chris (9/5): - Very nice apartment, loved the style. Second bed is not a private room. Glass door in bathroom needs a privacy curtain. Otherwise a great space.
- Monique (3/5): Looks nice though definitely falls short functionally. - Looked nice. Location reasonable. Far too hot (even when a lovely night outdoors). Far less than adequate ventilation and means to sleep comfortably. Also too much natural light and inability to block this, even in main bedroom. Second ‘bed’ curtained off from living area, yet not completely. Quite noisy dwelling between the wind, birds & internal noises eg fridge was really loud at times & the single speed industrial fan was really loud & just didn’t suit (plus two fans were actually required).
- Ann Maria (10/5): Perfect as always -
- Paul (9/5): Great property. - Beautiful quirky property.
- Neil (2/5): Ruined by Western Power. - Location is close to Astor Theatre. Arrived just before 3pm to find there was no electricity in the apartment. Saw there were trucks in the street and found there was an unplanned outage in the area. Unfortunately there was no restoration time, so I messaged the owner advising if it did not come back by the evening, then I would not be staying. The day had already been ruined by this point, as it was my wife's birthday. I was unable to cool our drinks in the fridge, couldn't have a shower before dinner as there was no hot water (presume this needed electricity) and no air conditioning to cool down an already warm place.
Fortunately the power had been restored by the time we came back from dinner. As we prepared for bed, I had to chase down a giant cockroach in the main bedroom. The bed itself was like sleeping on concrete. Rock hard and extremely uncomfortable. Oh and the owner decided to reply to my message near midnight. "Not much I can do". Now I get that - it's hardly the owner's fault there was a power outage but there was no offer of a refund or a partial refund. If I went to a restaurant for dinner and the power went out and they couldn't cook - would I be expected to pay for my meal ? Of course not.
Ended up getting up early and leaving at 6am to go home. So whilst the apartment may be nice, my experience was a disaster from beginning to end.

- Hayley (8/5): - The apartment was absolutely beautiful! I have traveled up from Bunbury+manjimup with a close friend and they have put the country home feel perfectly into the modon city vibe. From the tv cabinet being an old-school locker to the shampoo and conditioner being safe and natural for any type of skin, they really have thought of everything. My personal favourite was the mini old school fan in the main room the automatic sunroof blinds and the cozy cookbooks amongst the kitchen supplies. This has really been one of my favourite stays in Perth and probably in Australia if you don't count the camping 😅so thank you so so much we had everything we needed for our stay and quality definitely exceeded our expectations. Honestly not much I'd have to be picky to be able to fill this box out 😅 probably the only things were no pens or scissors I could find. The see-through blind was ripped when we got there in the alfresco and some of the lights didn't work in the bathroom. The main room didn't have its own air con so it did get pretty warm even with the fam on that was provided. And the spare bed was very uncomfortable my friend sleepy on the couch but these are minor things for a single stay and in comparison to everything else it really didn't matter to us or effect out stay/plans
- Lyric (10/5): Will definitely book when staying in Perth again - Apartment was stunning and really cosy Tv didn’t really work
- Bianca (10/5): - Loved the industrial feel and it’s a cute little property, nice courtyard in a nice area
- Simon (8/5): -
- Maxie (5/5): Loved the loft and had a good time with my daughter and granddaughter. - Nice quiet location Lovely place not well equipped. The towels was coarse, no bathmats. No coffee but a coffee plunger? No milk. Usually when you pay a reasonable amount of money you do expect at least the minimum. The pillows were not comfortable at all. A lovely loft tho.
- Anthony (10/5): We were very pleased with the accommodation. - location, interior design, parking, a beautiful space decorated with an eye for detail.
The second bed was very useful for a relative who needed overnight accommodation at short notice. I accept there is no privacy with the second 'room' however if that is made clear, prospective customers will have no need to complain. Number 9B on the large gate would have been very helpful. I had to guess that we were at the right place because there was no exterior picture in Booking.com to guide us.
- Karmen (8/5): Perfect for a city break! - Gorgeous design and layout, very unique spot to stay No full length mirror and some lights were out in bathroom
- Kay (10/5): beautiful house, nice host, spacy, comfy bed, convenient location - house decoration stairs
- Shane Seers (8/5): - The accommodation was industrial style which was well done. The list of tasks that are required as a visitor paying for accommodation above $350.00.
The accommodation was not at a standard commensurate with the cost:
Front door has swelled due to constant rain
No matter inside of the door allowing wet footprints everywhere
Insufficient light in bathroom
Had to use towel as floor mat
- Weir (10/5): A very affordable hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle - Loved the vibe of the place, very chill, no clutter, LOVE the way they’ve decorated 😍
Also loved how the very high, out of reach light switch became a talking piece (we still need answers 🙏) 😂 The bed is VERY creaky. Super comfortable but loud
- Te (8/5): Very good - Needed curtains on all sides of the room.
- Paul (3/5): Instagramable but not practical - The design and decor are very instagramable. There's a good coffee shop within walking distance. Reasonably quiet neighbourhood. First of all it's not a two bedroom unit as advertised. The second bed is behind a curtain in the hallway. Both beds are incredibly hard and uncomfortable. The renovation appears to have been done by a handy person and not a builder. Floors not sealed, massive gaps in the kitchen around the benches. They are going to be in for a word of pain with cleanliness issues if these items aren't addressed soon. And then there's the black toilet...
- Ally (9/5): Superb -
- Rashim (3/5): Poor -
- Kristy (5/5): Not worth the price - The property had an overwhelming smell of sewerage when we returned at night coming from the bathroom. The property was dirty, the toilet had been used and not flushed, it was full of toilet paper. There was toothpaste stuck to the vanity and hair in the bed.
The property is not 2 bedrooms as described. it's a bed in the lounge room, which is hidden from the pictures posted. Got woken up 8am the following morning by the owner/neighbour drilling into the first story walls. It seems they were installing new curtains. For over $320 per night we were disappointed
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andersson (8/5): Very much enjoyed - Fabulous look & feel
Loved outdoor dining space
Appreciated the sustainable approach Nothing to note except
Couldn’t find the clothes drying rack for our swimmers!
- Coxy (8/5): Very good - Everything was good. The number of spiders and spiderwebs.
- Ya (10/5): Was a very enjoyable stay - Interior design, welcomed feelings, clean, close to the shops, nice neighbourhood
- Bruce (9/5): We stayed very briefly. On business. - decor long entry staircase, noise air-conditioner, uncomfortable divan bed, pillows
- Alison (6/5): Very convenient for where we were going for evening. - The property had great unique features The second bedroom which is in the lounge area had a sofa bed which I thought should’ve had a decent comfortable bed as it is stated that this is a 2 bedroom apartment. There was no milk or descent t bags and a small amount of coffee which must have been left from previous customers, even if there was uht milk available . We only had 1 extra toilet paper and the one on the holder was nearly empty
- Sharon (8/5): A place we enjoyed being in - Very nice space due to design and look over houses to city Less attention to hospitality details
- Clair (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay. easy to find. Easy & safe parking. Beautiful apartment - loved the loft chic & quality. Great views, light, sunshine, city lights at night. Anything you could possibly need, thoughtfully provided. Great neighbourhood - quiet for sleeping at night and working during day, but near main roads for access, and great restaurants to walk to for dinner.
Winter rains had swollen the wood so we needed to be careful opening & closing the outer doors - that will likely right itself in next weeks. We will certainly look to rent this Loft again on any future Perth trips. Thank you !
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Naomi-jo (9/5): overnight perth stay - Absolutely loved the location, the architecture of the property and it was comfortable and clean. The facilities were perfect. Communication with the host was excellent. The only issues, and not even big issues was the internet wasn't working and no towel or an extra blanket for the single bed. It honestly didn't bother us too much and won't stop us from booking here again.
- Randal (1/5): NOT 2 BEDROOM VERY UNHAPPY RIPPED OFF - Avoid, liars need to be called out. The property was advertised as a 2 bedroom property but that was a lie. It is 1 bedroom with a day bed at the end of the kitchen. Avoid, liars need to be called out. The property was advertised as a 2 bedroom property but that was a lie. It is 1 bedroom with a day bed at the end of the kitchen..And advertised as a king bed and queen; TOTAL LIE. There was a queen bed and 2 thin single mattresses on the day bed. We advised the property owners of this fraud over text & via Booking.com AND NO RESPONSE FROM PROPERTY OWNER. AVOID
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous apartment love the vibe xx
- Sara (10/5): Absolutely lovely! - Cosy, comfortable, and sophisticated. Everything.
