• Dace (1/5): - __ Unfortunately, an unpleasant booking experience. After completing the online booking, days before my trip, I received messages from the host's private phone number, not the number that was listed on this booking. The message stated that getting a taxi or an uber at the airport will be complicated, and he is selling rides. It gave me an icky feeling, and it is not really allowed for hosts to use customer's whatsapp contacts for that. Then I received more whatsapp messages from another number (also not listed on this booking), eventually claiming to be THREE other people from this company 'Xuru Stays', also claiming to be texting me in regards to my booking, asking for my passport information and arrival information, and passport information of people travelling with me (I made this booking for myself only, so it's even sketchier they would want me to send them other people's passports on whatsapp - I am wondering if this was their way of finding out if I really am going to be a girl staying there by myself). When I didn't send them any passport info on whatsapp, they even asked for my passport info directly on booking.com messages - there's literally a disclaimer on booking.com warning against this :D It definitely felt unprofessional and left me feeling cautious and not at ease with it, as a solo female traveller. I reached out to booking.com for assistance, and unfortunately they were slow to respond and seemed understaffed and unable to resolve this on time. I ended up booking another place in Cairo and had a wonderful stay there, and I did not show up at this place, yet apparently they checked me in without me actually showing up. I was ready for booking.com to receive the no-show fee, but instead, it seems the host falsely checked me in to receive the full payment. Lots of red flags, just stay cautious if you are booking this place!

• Ajit (6/5): Not for the overseas tourists or clients - Clean I didn’t feel safe going to an apartment. Building number is written in Egyptian letters which is impossible to find for foreigners. Corridor and lift area was not clean.

• Kafunjo (5/5): Fair - Nearer the hotels where my meetings were There was no Internet for half of the time I stayed in. The management was slow in addressing my concerns. The telephone number provided cannot be called. It is for Whatsapp messages only. The lift is outdated.

In the listing it says there is a washing machine, there isn't one in the unit. The team was less than supportive, I tried to communicate with them a few times but they didn't answer my questions. Additionally, their check-in info were unclear There is almost no cell service in the area

• Lilong (1/5): Bad - Nothing is satisfied The customer service staff's （reception）attitude is very bad and she don't understand what is my concern. Complicating simple things, I couldn't check in quickly in the middle of the night and wasted more than an hour downstairs in the hotel.

• Mohamad (9/5): Well recommended. - Near to the airport. Amenities i.e cafe, mini market, restaurant are all in 2 mins walking distance. Cleanliness is a top notch. Host was very responsive and helpful. Nothing in particular.
