Guest Reviews

- Alessia (10/5): Struttura bella e giovanile - Posizione ottima.
Struttura moderna, ben arredata e giovanile.

- Abdul (7/5): We were struggling to locate the facility. Taxi driver dropped us in the middle of nowhere. After reaching the hotel the - Value for money. Good staff Hard to locate . Too much charges for the taxi to airport. 2800 TL.
- Guest (9/5): Happy to recommend - Excellent, central to everything location. Very comfortable room

- Sandra (10/5): - The position is fantastic and the people are incredible. I really recommend the place..
- Soufia (9/5): -
- Miquel (10/5): Genial.
Res.
- Ordina (10/5): Great. I love Turkey. -
- Fay (9/5): Superb - Friendly and helpful staff. Location is good - close to the metro and cosmopolitan Islikal Street.
- M (6/5): It was an urgent reservation and the staff were great, but I would not choose to stay again in such - The staff were very nice, friendly, and always available to support me. The room was too small and had no windows, which felt very strange and uncomfortable for me.
- Helen (9/5): Great location when staying in Istanbul - Hotel is located just off Istiklal St and walking distance to Sishane Metro station. Close to public transport, shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Filtered water machine in lobby. Great breakfast with everything made on site. Staff are friendly, informative and accommodating. Definitely a place to stay when in Istanbul.
- Julie (9/5): Staff and location were excellent - Young lady on reception was exceptional and very friendly when we needed her help. Location of hotel was great for us Bed was a little hard. Patio outside our room had high walls surrounding it and wasn’t useful to us - but not necessary
- Yevgeniya (8/5): Overall we had a great time - Location is very central, stuff is amazing and very helpful, hotel has ecology-friendly attitude, which is very nice. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay, and the one with the terrace was perfect.
The economy one is less convenient, as there is almost no daylight entering the room because the window faces the ventilation pit. Also, in the smaller room the bathroom smells stagnant water.
- Brian_penny (8/5): Staying at No 11 gave us the chance to feel like a local with easy walking to see the sights. - The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The location was close to Istiklal Street and the Galata Tower. There was not a lot of room at the sides of the bed.
- Stensson (8/5): Very good - Very friendly and well located. Green style - perfect!
- Regina (7/5): Best thing about the hotel is the location - Location was excellent, very close to Istikal which is the main shopping street. Little balcony with sitting area was nice. Coffee was not hot, hotel wanted to charge extra for Americano (which was what I really expect of a cup of coffee).
Front rooms of hotel noisy especially if your room is right above the street.
Not every room had a safe (that was opened). Not enough charging sockets that worked.
The staff were very new and didn't know much about the rooms and how they operate (light switches, etc).
- Virginia (8/5): Very clean and comfortable place to stay in great location - Did not have breakfast Booked room with balcony but room didn't have one
- Jill (7/5): Good on the whole - Small, quirky, good location, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast. Slightly leaking toilet. Leaking shower hose. Staff tried to call me as requested (alarm call) but the hotel phone in my room did not work. Maintenance needs improving. Both bedrooms I slept in were fine for 1 person but 2 people would have to climb over each other to get in or out of the double bed.
- Jason (8/5): Very good - Great position in a busy part of Istanbul. But nice and quite just off Main Street.
- Marisa (9/5): Superb -
- Yamaguchi (9/5): Superb -
- Fay (10/5): Beyoglu sojourn - I loved the elegant atmosphere and especially the warmth of the family running the hotel. Nothing
- Sixto (10/5): Exceptional - Staff, location, and quality of room were great.
The staff was always very friendly and accommodating. The location is great to all the major sites. Room was clean. Couldn’t have asked for more.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Rene (5/5): Great staff, amazing location, very small room, kitchen space useless, could have been cleaner. - Staff was very friendly and the location was great. WiFi quality was very good. Breakfast was good but inconsistent. (sometimes a small buffet, sometimes a la carte), it got to be redundant after a few days. It lacked variety. We stayed 10 days in Istanbul. We are a well internationally travelled couple. We had room number 6 which we were told was the largest one, we found it to be very small. The kitchen area was not well equipped, very minimal, not even enough to prepare a light snack or bring food in. Even if we would have had there would have been no place to sit to eat. The bed was comfortable but the sleeping space very narrow. The little closet was not very practical.
- Amina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judit (8/5): Good value for the price - I spent 8 nights in the Compact Room with Balcony on the 3rd floor. The first 3 nights I spent there with my mom, the rest alone. The hotel has a great location close to the metro station and the Galata Tower. It was perfect for me as I attended a 6-day workshop in KUN Istanbul which is 4 mins away from the hotel. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I loved the filtered water availability in the lobby.
The room was smaller than I expected, but I could manage it. The small kitchenette is okay. The bed and sheets were good and clean.
The room was really quiet which I loved. The balcony faces the courtyard, but it was nice to have a dinner there.
We had breakfast for 2 mornings, it is quite pricey, but it was really nice: egg dish or shakshouka and boiled eggs, nice salad, olives, pancake, good jams and Nutella, yoghurt, fresh fruit, good bread, you can ask for Turkish tea and coffee. The room wasn't deep cleaned for a long time. Especially the floor was dirty, and the towels also weren't completely clean.
Couple of things needs to be updated, renovated in the room, in the bathroom.
The smell is not very nice in the bathroom.
The kitchenette needs some more equipment, at least plates, cutlery and glasses for 2 people, not only for 1, as the room is for 2 people.
- Daniela (9/5): It was a comfortable stay, the staff was homely and food was excellent. - Staff super friendly, breakfast delicious, location excellent. The room was a little bit hot and it didn't have a fan or A/C that worked. The wifi only worked with android and we both had apple.
- Marco (10/5): This place is outstanding - Perfect location in a fantastic neighbourhood.
The staff makes you feel like you are at home. I need to specially thank Öykü for a very easy and personal check in experience including transfer from the airport.
Hazal and her crew also gave us a tour of their rooftop which had a terrace garden where they grow their own herbs which you will find in their homemade dishes if you decide to try their breakfast or lunch services. be back for sure!
Highly recommended
- Matteo (9/5): Could not have asked for better - We loved staying at No11 Hotel! Firstly, we got a free upgrade to a room with a balcony, which was a very pleasant surprise and very quiet.
The staff was memorable! They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and were always accommodating to our needs.
The room itself may be simple, but it's thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, functional, and had a cozy vibe.
Breakfast was also very rich in quantity and flavours. We appreciated that everything was homemade and costumised based on our preferences every day.
Location is perfect. In the centre of Beyoglu, best neighbourhood to stay in Istanbul in our opinion. This vibrant neighborhood is rich in local charm, and it’s affordable, with everything you could need just around the corner. Everything about our stay at No11 Hotel was perfect! If I had to mention anything, it would be the lack of flip-flops and the absence of tea or coffee next to the kettle, which would have been a nice touch. Also, the hair dryer wasn’t working properly—it warmed up quickly and stopped working. However, I’m sure the amazing staff would have been more than happy to assist if we’d asked for a replacement. These were just small details that didn’t impact our overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place!
- Yukhann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meenakshi (5/5): Passable - Great location, shopping areas close by. Ugur from the hotel was very nice and helpful. We had accessible drinking water from the reception. The cleanliness of the room was not as per expectations. We had a small kitchenette area with very basic cutlery, and dirty spoons. We had a dishwashing liquid with no luffa sponge. Maybe the hotel could check the room before client check-in.
- Ian (6/5): Pleasant -
- Judith (8/5): Lovely gem of a hotel - Lovely staff, nice decor, excellent breakfast & great location My first room (I stayed here 3 times over a six week period) was overlooking the street. It had a cute balcony but also came with street noise from the restaurant nearby & late night revellers. If you need a quiet room ask for one at the rear - but you won’t have the outlook.
- Zoe (8/5): Very good -
- Zoe (8/5): Very good -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, the people who work on the reception are very friendly.
I'll come again
(10/5): Great location, nice quality for good value of money - It was very silent street but linked to very crowded street with a lot of restaurants and markets. For me the one of the main criteria it was comfortable bed and silent place for sleeping. The room was clean. All facilities was inside including electric kettle electric stove and also small balcony with the view on the yard.
Nice interior, very funny cool animals like dog and two cats who are meet you at the entrance. Everything was perfect. All was good, I am satisfied
- Rahul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Svetlana (10/5): I fall in love with the Hotel. Everything was perfect: suitable location, clean room, excellent staff which is ready to - Staff
Breakfast
Location Nothing to say
- Ken (7/5): decent enough place with friendly staff - friendly staff, quirky rooms, quiet location despite proximity to Istaklal, so location great rooms could do with a little TLC though comfortable enough. small things like a lamp not working and a leaky shower hose for example. Not a fan of cats so a few too many of them but it did say it was pet friendly. price was good last minute after being let down badly at another property.
- Jayne (8/5): Would stay again - Well priced, good location. No wifi in rooms due to network outage. Not the fault of the hotel though.
- Judy (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly and helpful staff
Convenient location
Clean and comfortable
- Bonnie (8/5): Very good -
- Trish (9/5): Superb -
- Terechova (9/5): This hotel has a big plus that outweighs all its other minuses: the good staff made me feel as if I was at home. I want - Good place when you are traveling with pet.
Staff is really friendly and useful. Good breakfasts: all we love, especial home made yogurt. At the same time it’s not good that good coffee (from coffee machine) and tee (not cooked in a common pot) is not include in a hotel breakfast and you can drink included but not drinkable tee and coffee or should spend additional money for good once.
I thought that bought nice room with balcony, but it was just fire escape, which is not safe at all compared to the balcony. At the same time silence compensated for all the shortcomings, which allowed me to sleep well at night. The renovation and cleanliness at first really disappointed me. I usually don't stay in hotels like this, but in the end the silence at night (when the nightlife was in full swing and my friends in other hotels nearby couldn't sleep until 2am), the wonderful staff and home-cooked breakfasts changed my anger to mercy and I fell in love with this place. Absence of balcony which was announced, tee and coffee at breakfast, a sloppily cleaned room, which is doubly strange, as the Turks are famous for their neatness and cleanliness.
- Trish (9/5): Was wonderful to have such easy access to some of the major must see’s of Istanbul. - Location. Staff were all lovely and very helpful with any questions. Reception staff very fluent with conversational English. No baggage storage area. As our 2 week stay in Turkey started and ended at same hotel it would have been handy to be able to leave items not needed for next leg of holiday behind.
- Parnian (9/5): Superb - Great staff, super friendly and good command of English
Loved the furry hotel staff - the cats!🐈 I am a cat lover, but beware, if you have a phobia or allergy, you might not quite like having cats around in your hotel reception
Clean and nice room with a small kitchenette that made life easier
Amazing location in the heart of istiklal Street with a lot of bars and eateries around , a few minutes walk to the sishane metro station The checkout is at 11 as opposed to some other hotels that let you stay until 12 pm - but not a big deal!
- Ricky (8/5): Very good -
- Marcopolo (9/5): A little hidden gem off of Istiklal Street, in a prime location - The hotel is hidden from sights like a gem on Istiklal Caddesi. It was an economy room for our stay, but we were very happy about the facility. The hotel takes pride in being environmental friendly, and they stay true to that! Our room pleasantly had everything we needed, with the exception of a kettle, which we asked for and was promptly delivered to our room! The hotel is very clean, has friendly and available staff (thanks so much Fatih, Arda, Matt, to name a few) ... At one point we had brought our left-over food from a restaurant, and they offered to warm it up and served it for us in the lobby (I was touched by that gesture). We loved the vibe of the lobby, with one morning watching the rain from the open sitting right on the edge of the hotel outskirts. It also has an elevator for convenience. There's a small grocery store right in front of the hotel in the alley, which is just awesome and you can prepare any of your basic needs there. Can't think of anything! There's food to get in the lobby, and don't forget the beer in the fridge! There's also grocery items available super conveniently from the store in front of the hotel (if you like more variety).
- Kerry (8/5): Lovely stay and would return and would recommend - Close to everything but very quiet at night. Fantastic location, very cute boutique style hotel I got laundry done at hotel but came back still damp and wasn’t folded just kind of shoved back in bag so clothes were clean at least which was great but really really crinkled.I requested an iron which was supplied but no ironing board so ironed clothes on the bed which was okay. Just a heads up what to expect. I would normally do my own laundry in the room but ran of time to dry
- Maria (9/5): Superb - Great location with easy access to shops, restaurants and bars. Close to trams, ferry for easy access to tourist sites. Eco friendly and good value. No storage facilities for extra baggage for those going on tours. While the bed was comfy the covers weren't big enough to cover two people and the air-conditioned could not be adjusted.
- Janine (8/5): Very good - Relaxed atmosphere and friendly helpful staff Breakfast was just a feed .... until Intrepid group came then breakfast better quality
- Zsófia (8/5): Very good location, lovely and helpful stuff. It is near Istiklal street but still a quiet hotel. - Location, extremely helpful and kind staff. Wifi was not always working perfectly. I needed to reconnect many times and add the password again and again.
- Dhruv (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dhruv (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antukh (9/5): Fantastic eco stay in the heart of Istanbul - My experience in this little green hotel was fantastic. The owner and staff were extremely friendly, the lobby area was perfect for reading or just relaxing while looking at the picturesque streets of the city, the room was spacious and the homemade breakfast was delicious. Further, Diego the Kitten made my mornings even more cheerful. Super recommended!
- Vlad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zezza (10/5): Exceptional - The place was really nice and located in the center of Istanbul, the room was clean and nice with all the amenities. We had a really good time and Ugür of the staff was very nice and always ready to help us with any questions. I really recommend this place, thank you very much to Ugür!

- Daniil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tomris (4/5): I stayed one night and had no sleep due to bed bug infestation in room 7 - Good appearance and helpful friendly staff Bed was full of bed bugs, could not stay in the room and was transferred to another room at 2am
- Anna (7/5): Good -
- Rod (8/5): Excellent staff and scrumptious breakfast - No 11 Hotel is a great place to stay in Istanbul. - Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with some of the produce grown on the roof-top garden. Cold-filtered water available 24-7 was also welcomed. Location was great for shopping and visiting the Galata Tower. Room size can be a little tight. Getting to the major attractions - the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc - is a bit of a journey (walk and tram).
- Raakhee (1/5): Not good at all, I wouldn’t recommend unless they change their attitudes. - Location I think someone needs to explain these guys to not mistaken ‘being green’ means ‘being dirty’! The room was extremely dirty and so was the bathroom with hair everywhere on the floors. The showering cabinet floor was so sticky that we had to shower wearing our slippers. Even the communal showers are cleaner than this! More precise review is on Google!
The staff was very inconsistent. One was very helpful and the other was absolutely inefficient and indifferent.
- Sirajul (8/5): Very good - Same as always the location is perfect and they have younger staff now in the reception who are very helpful and friendly. The mirror on the wall of room 5 needs changing it’s got stains on the bottom half of the mirror.
- Mohammad (1/5): I don't recommend to anyone and the rating should be around 5 for this hotel - everything was broken or out of service, e.g. elevator, bathroom. There was no electric boiler for hot water. There was no tap water in the room. You need to bring drinking water from the lobby; That's really obsurd. As a 4-star hotel, it is expected to know the difference between a harsh table cover and typical blanket, which they don't. The breakfast was awful. the materials, especially doesn't taste fresh at all.
- Bohang (10/5): Wonderful experience - We stayed for 3 days and had a wonderful experience in this boutique hotel. The staff were helpful, room was always clean, and the location is perfect. It's only 5 mins walking to public transportation. The neighborhood was always lively with cute cafes and art shops. Def would go back here when we have the chance to visit Istanbul again in the future. Nothing
- Bin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrienne (10/5): The staff was so friendly. - The breakfast was amazing
- Hüseyin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katherine (8/5): Very good -
- Marianne (9/5): Superb - We enjoyed staying at Hotel 11.
They have a very lovely welcoming entrance/lounge. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very central and nearby the lovely streets for shopping and food.
Galata tower is nearby.
The kitchenette is very basic.
We needed a few items which was given to us.
- Leanne (9/5): Easy-going, eco-friendly hotel. Brilliant location and helpful staff. - Loved the green credentials and the helpful and laid back staff Window/door onto balcony that looked into the bathroom. Not a major issue though
- Filippo (8/5): Very good -
- Lilian (9/5): Strategic, green, friendly, cozy, convenient, charming. - I recently enjoyed a short stay at NO11 Apartments, which I found perfect for longer stays as well. Its strategic location in Taksim street, just 11-20 minutes walking distance from two main metro stations, makes it very convenient. its also near all the shops and attractions, is a major plus. It's just a 10-minute walk from Galata Tower and other notable sites.
One of the major highlights for me was their commitment to green practices. The terrace boasts an urban garden, and they also engage in composting. I only had breakfast once, but it was a delightful spread of local Turkish dishes alongside various other options.
Animal lovers will be pleased to know I made a furry friend—a visiting cat on the balcony. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly, always offering Turkish tea as a warm gesture of hospitality. The cozy lobby is stocked with books and features some eco-friendly local products. I had one plumbing issue in the bathroom, but it was fixed on the spot.

- Hleza (8/5): Very good - Breakfast good, only that it didn't quite consider my preferences as an African. Otherwise, everything great. The price was affordable and the staff was very kind to me.
- Anastasiia (10/5): Exceptional - I love the idea of greenhotel, for me is very comfortable that the reception is 24/7 and always ready to help you. My room was incredibly clean, cozy and cute. I love small kitchen and all amenities that the hotel provides. Little cute balcony was an additional advantage. Besides, it’s very convenient to use water spot next to reception. Either there is nice common space with board games where you can drink tea with friends.
By the way, a location is wonderful, there is small grocery store, pharmacy, taxi spot and coffee shop with great coffee in 3 minutes on foot.
The stuff is very friendly🙌🏼
Thank you for comfortable stay!
- Leisha (8/5): Very good - Well located, beautiful breakfast, great music and friendly staff. Nothing.
- Glenda (9/5): We stayed in many different properties in Türkiye but this is our favourite. The staff is what made it so. - I loved the feeling of the property. Like home away from home. The staff were delightful. Nothing was too much trouble and no question too silly.
Breakfast was good and varied somewhat daily.
It was very quiet although it was very near probably the busiest upmarket shopping street in Istanbul. The plumbing was problematic at times but the building and infrastructure was old (like much of Istanbul).
